Reports say the pilot and co-pilot of an air-canada express plane are dead.
After a collision on the runway at LaGuardia Airport Sunday night.
And the airport may not reopen until Monday afternoon.
NBC New York is reporting that air-canada flight AC 86 46 landed late Sunday night.
Then collided with a port authority fire truck manned by police officers.
That was responding to a different incident on the runway.
They report the pilot and co-pilot are dead and that two port authority police officers suffered broken bones.
NBC New York is also reporting none of the passengers were hurt beyond bumps and bruises.
The airport was put under a full ground stop and is expected to remain closed until 2 p.m. Monday.
The Supreme Court will hear arguments today on where the states can count mail-in ballots
that are postmarked by election day but that arrive late. Scott Carr reports.
All 50 states require mail-in ballots to be postmarked by election day.
But 14 states have grace periods in which ballots that are submitted by election day can be counted if they arrive late.
Four states have passed laws eliminating grace periods and are now requiring mail-in ballots to be received by election day in order to be counted.
The Supreme Court is expected to decide on the case by the end of June.
