What is up, ladies and gentlemen and M B's. Welcome back to another K F movie commentary. This time, it's your boy, Nick Scarpino joined by the Tolkien master, Mr. Andy Corbyn. I wouldn't say that. And I read fellowship. That's it. I didn't read the other two. Well, you know, you really needed to read them to understand them. Yeah. Because we thankfully have amazingly faithful trilogy of movies for the Lord of the Rings books that we're going to do today. We're starting with the fellowship of the ring and who knows if everyone that's ever followed us, watches this K F movie commentary, maybe we'll continue and do another one for the second book. You think bear or you think blesses him like it? I think he's too ADHD. And I think I think I need to force myself in his house to watch it with him to be there and be like, check this part out. This is what you know, it's kind of crazy that you're forcing. Yeah, I was going to say like, it's wild that you're cool with that with co-op the force in their way, Andy. I thought you weren't okay with that, Andy. No, here's the thing. Here's the thing.

I honestly don't know as you guys have said and we'll talk about this on the review as well. We're going to be doing this commentary, obviously. I did not care for this film when I first watched it. It wasn't that I didn't care for it. I just was too close to the source until I had finished the book like the night before going to watch this. So I was like, eh, it's fine. It was until years later that I really kind of sat down with it and realized how big an accomplishment this was and how and the spirit of the movie actually like stirred me and now I'm like all in. That's why you used to talk a lot of shit. Yeah, yeah, a lot of shit talking from Nick and that was kind of like the earlier jokes and it also stemmed from me, you know, was it Kevin who was like the Kevin Smith movies are better than Lord of the Rings? And we started that argument. Yes. And then, you know, Nick was often, you know, playing the heel and going against me that when we found did the interview during the pandemic with Elise Williams, it was an awakening for Nick. And he was just like, fuck, I could, you know, what it had been and we were talking about the best interview franchise series we've done 100%. We had talked about this sort of right before we started doing

this commentary where you were like, I wish we hadn't watched like I wish you hadn't watched this movie like in December. Yeah, because it's so fun. And that's what happened to me was I hadn't seen it in years. So I got to come back to it fresh. And I was like, Oh, I'm feeling the magic of this. I'm getting sucked into the world really for the first time because I read the books as candidly just kind of a snobbish thing to do where I was like, I'm going to read the books and I'm going to be the book. I'm going to be that guy. It's like the books better than the movie. And here's all the differences and all that stuff. And you were you became that and I did and I did myself into service because coming into this and this is what I'm excited to hear from blessing. Coming into this sort of just having no context really for the film, I'm so jealous that he gets to do that because how could you not be sucked into this amazing, amazing accomplishment of a film? But I also see the way that he takes in media. I'm not I'm not feeling confident. Here's the deal out. A counter argument. He loves Titanic. He did. He did. This is and this is I think a lot more. This has 20 fewer minutes than Titanic. So yeah, that is true. That is true. I like video games and this is like steeped in law. I hope. I hope. I really, really hope.

We'll see. Hope. Ladies and gentlemen, without further ado, we are going to start our KF movie commentary right now on three two one. Hey, Roger here. Do you like kind of funny?
