The Mantle of Elijah ( The Perfect Mantle Camp Meeting )

0:00Hi, this is Doug Hewitt Mills. I'm glad you've joined me today. I believe this message will stir up your faith, strengthen you, and inspire you to serve him with zeal. Wherever you are, open your spirit. God is about to speak to you. Now, I want us to move to the mantle of Elijah. We have spoken about the mantle of Jail, and we're spoken about the mantle of Samuel. And now we are going to the mantle of Elijah. Now, the mantle of Elijah tend to face kings.

1:14Let's start. Chapter 19... First Kings chapter 19. Now, beautiful. Are you there? Kalabashatobalabah. Now, Ehab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done and without how he had slain the prophets with the sword.

2:22Then, Jezebel sent unto Elijah saying, So let the gods do to me if I make not die life as the one of them by tomorrow by this time. This is the momentary power of a woman. Trettening with words intimidating, accusing, threatening, bringing fear and intimidation. When he saw that, he arose and ran for his life. A big man who is afraid in his house. A very great person, but he is afraid in his own house. How many have seen something like that before? Trettiness in his own house, not far away.

3:26Elijah rose and went for his life and came to be a shiba and left his servant there. The servant was as foolish enough as to be left there. This is the first servant of Elijah. How can you allow yourself to be left behind? You have been around, this is the servant that was with him to kill the 400 prophets to call down fire from heaven. This is the guy. And they told you to leave. They didn't have any grace to see that they are leaving you behind. And you just stayed behind. So they stayed here. That's why Elijah told him to stay here. I read the history book before I came here. I read history. I've heard about this same thing. It happened to the first guy who was here before me.

4:27I've seen this before. Some of you, you can see some people here who were supposed to be missionaries. I was supposed to go all out for the Lord and they ended up not going. And they ended up staying and rather criticizing and becoming some way. So when your tent comes and they are trying to do the same to you and keep you from saving the Lord and keep you from going all out to the Lord. You tell them please this one I've seen when I read already in the history book. I've seen one before. Yeah. I have pictures. There are a whole lot of people here that should have been on missions. But they didn't go. In the name of money, money, money. Meanwhile, they don't have anything still after today.

5:27You know, you can see when people have money. You see, to me, you can see when people have money by their giving. When you can't give, usually you don't have. Most people are not greedy. Not people are not like so greedy that I mean. You have and you will not give. People don't have. Yeah, they don't have. So there are people that should have been saving the Lord everywhere. Those of you who are married and you live in a house where it was held. And you see how your mother and your father were somewhere. This was this, there was arguments, there was this, there's whatever. When your tent comes, remember. This is how it was. Yes, this is how it was.

6:30This is exactly. Yes, this is how my father was. This is how my mother was. This is how there was no breakthrough on any side. Because you are coming to fulfill exactly this boy. I mean, how can you put the scripture there? Big man of Elijah is going somewhere, he's left you. And he left his seven dead. This is the seven who saw, the next seven who can see, no miracle. But he got the analogy, that's Elijah. Yeah, the first seven who saw the miracle power, this is that. I didn't get nothing. When it comes to the work of God, always learn from the person directly in front of you. See what happened to this person, if I joke, it will be exactly like this for me. So learn, learn.

7:30Marriages are like that, there's no difference between your mother, even look like your mother, you look like your father. You have the same stubbornness, have the same attitude, have the same samfulness. Some of you, your fathers were Ahab's, that's why they didn't live. Your mothers were Jails and others. All right. But he himself went into the journey, this journey came and sat under a jinny patrie, and requested for himself that he might die and said, it is enough now, O Lord, take away my life, I am not better than my fathers. And as he lay and slept under a jinny patrie, there came an angel and touched him. I told him an angel is a man, visible man, sometimes visible, and set him a right and eat. And he looked and behold, there was a cake. This is the power of holy communion, like a meal can have power like that.

8:35And the angel said, it's Drake. All right. And the angel came and touched him and said, arise and eat because the jinny is too great for thee. And that's why we have holy communion because we just received a supernatural, this is a supernatural meal. And the holy communion is also a supernatural meal. Amen. And the angel of the Lord came the second time and touched him and said, arise and eat because the jinny is too great. All right. And he arose and did drink and went in the strength of that meat for 40 days and 40 nights and to hurrup the mount of God. Now, no food last for 40 days. Your food last five hours, it is gone from your stomach. It's whatever. But this is a supernatural meal. Yeah, supernatural. And through the supernatural meal, he went for 40 days and 40 nights.

9:36Wow. Now, he came into a cave and behold the where of the Lord came to him there and said, what do I do down here, Elijah? And he said, I've been very jealous of the Lord. The children of Israel are forsaking my covenant and thrown down by all this and I'm the only one left, not true. And he said, go forth and stand on the mount before the Lord and behold the Lord passed by a great and strong wind, ran the mountains and break in pieces the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. And after the wind and earthquake, but the Lord was not in an earthquake. And after the earthquake, a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire, it's still small voice. And it was so when Elijah had it that he wrapped his face in his mantle. Wow. He wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood in the entering of the cave

10:43and behold, that came a voice unto him saying, what do I tell you? Wow. Very here, Elijah. All right. And he said, I've been very jealous for the Lord because the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down their altars and slain thy prophets with the sword. And I, even I only am left and they seek my life to take it away. And the Lord said unto him, go and return. And when thou comest anoint his hell to be king of Syria. And Jehu anoint him to be king of Israel. And Elijah, the son of Shafat, of Abel Mehola, shout out anoint to be prophet in thy room. Hallelujah. And so he departed then in verse 19 and found Elijah, the son of Shafat,

11:47who was plowing with 12 oxen of Yoke before him. Why didn't they send him to the servant but to an unknown farmer with 12 Yoke of oxen before him? And he with the 12. And Elijah passed and cast his mantle upon him. Amen. Now, the first thing about Elijah's mantle, amen, is that he used it to cover his face. All right. Yes, he used it to cover his face. So the mantle covering your face, okay? Okay. Means that they don't see you anymore but they see their anointing. They don't see you anymore but they see their anointing. They don't see your wretched longness, your longness and your nothingness and your weakness

12:55but they see their gift and their anointing. So when Elijah wrapped his face in the mantle, it speaks of how when you are anointed with the mantle of the Spirit, you see, the truth is that you are nothing, my darling. But you see, when you wrap your face, we don't see you anymore. We don't even see whether you are a gal or a boy. We don't even see whether you are a gal or a boy. We don't see whether you are older, young, we don't see your sins. We don't see the things you did because if we saw your face, we would remember the things you did. How many have done some dits? How many have did some dance? But now all that we see is the mantle around your face, all that we see is the mantle.

13:59Elijah wrapped his mantle. That's what to do with the mantle and their anointing. Sit down. Sometimes I see people, some people clap for me and they are happy to see me and so on. I tell myself it cannot be me that they are so happy to see. It cannot be me. It cannot be me. I don't even know who they are. Who are they clapping for? Is that not how you feel? If somebody claps for you, don't you sometimes want that? It cannot be. I mean, what are these things? That's exactly how I also feel. I feel the same way. That you will clap for me? Why? What on earth would it be clapping for me? People are not seeing you. They are seeing the mantle. They are seeing the mantle that has been feeding them. The mantle that has been working. That's what people are actually clapping for.

15:02Listen. Listen. Scoozy move. Hello. When Jesus was in Jerusalem and he was coming on the day of the month, he was coming on the donkey sitting on the donkey and people were clapping. The donkey will be thinking, oh, they are so happy to see me. Do you think it's right for the donkey to be thinking, oh, they are so happy to see me. Some people really like me. Is it true that people really like you as a donkey? No, when Jesus is using you. I say, when Jesus is using you and somebody is clapping, they are not clapping because you are great. They are clapping because they see Jesus. Jesus and the donkey. Listen. The donkey is bigger than a human being. But Jesus sitting on the donkey, the person they are happy to see is Jesus.

16:05Not the donkey. Amen. Are you listening to me? May your face be covered. May you be wrapped with the mantle. May you be used by God so much. May people see this wrap of mantle around your face. May people forget what you are like and where you are from and your color, your race and your accent and everything about you and enjoy your mantle, the mantle that God has given to you in the realm of the Spirit, in the name of Jesus. Father, I thank you for putting a mantle on our lives, a mantle for us to serve you with, a mantle that people forget our age, forget our sex, forget our country, forget our accent, forget about anything. Thank you for the mantle of nations,

17:06like the mantle that covered the old man somewhere. Thank you for the mantle that Elijah wrap his face in. In the mighty name of Jesus, we give you thanks, Lord. Everyone stand to your feet. Every standing, every standing, every standing. Father, thank you, every standing, every standing. Thank you, Father, in the name of Jesus. Thank you, Father, in the name of Jesus. 19:16Beginning from today, wherever you stand to preach to safeguard, you shall not be seen. Your face will not be seen. Your weaknesses will not be remembered. Your past will not be remembered. But the mantle of the Spirit is what will be seen, recognized and remembered. Receive the mantle of the Lord in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Sit down, everybody. Now we are on the mantle of Elijah. Please, no movement, no one should go out, don't go out and we, we, we. Now, we are on the mantle of Elijah. After that, we will take a break.

20:18And then we will continue the next mantle. We are going on to the perfect mantle. Yes. Hallelujah. Now, in verse 19 of the passage we read, the Bible says he found Elijah, the son of Schaffert, who was plowing with 12 oxen before him, and he with the 12, and Elijah passed by and cast his mantle upon him. And he left his oxen and ran after Elijah and said, let me, I pray, de kiss my father and my mother. And then I will pull thee. And he said unto him, go back again for whatever I done today. And he returned back from him and took a yoke of oxen and slew them, and pulled their flesh with the instruments of the oxen and gave to the people and they did eat.

21:23Then he arose and went after Elijah and ministered unto him. Amen. Now, number one, the throwing of the mantle on Elijah, again, you must know the prophetic events that herald the beginning of your ministry in a certain way. Yes, there are certain things that happen in your life that mark the beginning. And sometimes it's not what you think, but you must take note of them. What I've found the difference between people that are prophets and people that seem to be hearing from God or men of God, whatever you want to call them, is that they take things more seriously. Because you may have a dream, they may have a dream, but they take the dreams more seriously.

22:27There are times that I've taken dreams seriously and been surprised. Yes, at the meaning of the dream, the meanings of the dreams. Hello, those are the back. I see a seat here. One, two, come. I see a seat over there. Am I imagining? Or somebody's seat? If you have a seat by your left hand, there's three seats here. One, two, three, four, five, six. Please come. Seven, eight here. Please, those standing at the back. Hello. Move fast to the panzer that have been lifted on your behalf. We are going to take a break at a point. At that point, everybody will go out and do whatever you need to do. But at this point, we are focusing on the mantles. And now, we are doing business. And we are talking about the mantle of Elijah.

23:28The mantle of Elijah was thrown on somebody. That meant something. Now, you must notice that I don't know why, but I just always remember Benny Han teaching this, is that it was thrown on a plowing man, on a working man, not a lazy man. There is no space for those who are at ease in Zion. What do them that are at ease in Zion? What do them that are at ease in Zion? There are some people who feel they are too old to work. But I tell you, the ministry is weak. And that's why it's most suited for young people. Old people tend to sleep more and need more rest. But I believe that the old people are not here.

24:32All right. By the grace. I said by the grace. So, listen. And he put it on him. And immediately, Elijah did not ask for a meeting. Elijah, please, can I see you? I wanted to see you Elijah after the service. So, the other day, you passed by you through the mantle of me. I wanted to know what it means. Listen, that is why we stop having said in meetings. Because we are tired of people who know what it means, but I'm always asking what it means. If you do not want to serve the Lord, just say so. But stop asking, what does it really mean? Is it this? Is it that? Is it this? That's why I told you before you came here that it is a healing Jesus' path. I want you to know what it means. If I, when we finish, I'm going to give a break.

25:36So, those who want to leave can leave so that you can miss the giving part of the service. Because as you can see, we are nowhere near giving anything now. Yes, we are only anointing. And I pray you are catching the mantle. Now, young Elijah suddenly has a mantle thrown on him and his profession changes. Parents don't stop people from changing their professions. When Jesus wants to change your profession, you know, in Ghana, I have, I can mention so many medical doctors who are no more medical doctors but are politicians. And no one complains about them. So, I don't have meetings about people complaining why I might not a doctor. I'm still a doctor. But I mean, I'm a pastor. You get it? I'm in a ministry. I'm serving the Lord.

26:43Why do you complain about me being a doctor and I'm preaching? Don't you know some doctors who are doing other things? I know so many medical doctors, surgeons, gynecologists, what have you. They all became presidential candidates and other things like that. So, why you complain? Jesus is a Jesus who changes your profession. Jesus said to Peter, I'll make you a fish of men. I'm changing your job. I'm changing your life. I'm changing your work. I'm making you a fish of men. How can you allow Jesus to come into your life? Listen, Jesus doesn't only change your morals. You know, there are some people feel that Jesus changes you. He stops you from going to parties and going to nightclubs and going to dance, you know, in the nightclub and sex and all these stops you from drinking.

27:44Those are some of the changes. But I want you to know that one of the changes also is that he changes your job, your profession. He changes the actual job and profession of your whole life. I'll make you a fish of men. Through his mantle on Elijah. Elijah was a plowing man with 12 yogurt of oxen. Elijah went Elijah to him and he said, look, I know my life is changed. My life is over. And he boiled, he cut the oxen. Even today, one cow in Switzerland cost thousands of Swiss francs, thousands of dollars for one cow. I thought there's more milk than cow. And this guy had 12. He killed all of them. You people should do some calculations sometimes. He killed 12. And he said, I know it's over.

28:44I remember one time I was praying for some people and I was praying for an assistant some years ago, like 30 years ago. As I laid hands, I knew that her life was being changed. I don't know why. Not that I think about it. But it was like her whole life is changing. So I started to cry because I could see that her profession, her life, everything was changing by the hands that I was laying on her. How many want Jesus to change your profession? Some of you don't even have any good profession and you are still arguing. You don't have any good job. You don't have any good profession. And Jesus wants to give you a higher job, a higher profession. And you are still arguing with God. You are a bus driver, a bus driver from here to here, here to here, here to here, here to here.

29:52And you are arguing with God who wants to give you something more exciting, something more, something more, something more engaging, something more that will take your life and your energy and your intelligence. I have the one to argue. You want to be a driver of a bus, at your life, from point A to B, up and down, every day you go. The same road. No, no, no, no. Lift your hands and say, Jesus, change my whole life. Change my profession. Change my job. I am ready. Take my life. Amen. Hallelujah.

30:52So sit down and mental or shall I say an anointing changes your profession. Yes. He said, let me I pray thee. Kiss my father and my mother and I will follow thee. And he said, go back. What have I done to thee? I know I've changed everything about your life. And he took the Duke of Oxen and boiled their flesh. Now, some of us need to bend some bridges. So that you can't go back to setting things anymore. Some of you have full numbers of setting people that you shouldn't have.

32:08Yes. You have full numbers. You have, listen, you know, I want you to know, quiet please, that setting is somebody who will like to win the match against you in extra time. In the last minute of the three minutes extra time, is still, you see, there's a reason I don't even like watching the soccer. It's because of these type of things. Like the match is over. There's extra time, three minutes and in the three minutes, something evil is happening to somebody who has won the match. I am telling you, those of you who think you are Christians, the second is the time, is that time. Is that time even the three minutes, it will play as if you have just started playing.

33:21To take you out. Yes. Are we okay? He will play as if it is just starting. That's why in the extra time they bring in fresh players. Who are not played at all? Are you listening? Yes. I saw some of you have left bridges. Is he, Elijah could have left his oxen so that when he's tired of Elijah, he comes back to restart his business that he's left. He's left in town. But he decided to kill them so that there's no, there's nothing like going back to this oxen. I can't go back there. It's over. It's over. It's over. I'm done.

34:37He could have kept the oxen. I'm telling you that Satan is the type of player who moves in the last, the extra time. There's 44 seconds left to the end of the match. He still wants to score. He won't give up. So you got to be careful. Those of you who you who think you are okay. Some of you are still friends with people that brought you low. People that humiliated you. Yeah, they are still your friends. It's all high. How are you? How is it going? Are you all right? I know. Maybe you're sad today. I'm just calling to check on you.

35:48I'm just calling to say hi. We had good times together. I know you've moved on. I know you've moved on, but you know, I just wanted to say hi. Ladies and gentlemen, I want you to know that when it comes to God, you say God is an all out God. One of the new things lost is all out, all or none. If you are in God, if you are in the middle, you see, God is looking for people that are as all out as he is. I'm all out and you are also all out. I'll bless you this way. You'll bless me your whole life. Jesus gave everything and you want to give just some weekends. All right. All right. I'm going to say right.

36:49Yes. So I want to say to those of us here right in America, that God is expecting from you. Listen, how many churches do you have in America in total? 184 churches, 82. Now, that is a very low number for a continent. Hello. It is 112 churches. It is a very low number for a continent. I'm saying that 182 churches. I flew six hours in a jet from San Francisco to here.

38:01All flying over people for six hours. There's thousands of millions of people here. So 182 is nothing. You see, yeah, don't deceive yourself. The mantle God has given to us is a mantle that can produce 1000 churches. And so our vision is for 1000 churches here in America, just American churches. And therefore we need 1000 pastors. We need 1000 pastors. We have workers with a mantle on their heads covering their faces. And working. I don't see Spanish churches. I don't see Korean churches. The America has different types of churches, different types of people.

39:08So what have I done to you? Elijah said, Elijah said, I know I've changed your profession. And so many of us here, God is changing your profession. And I don't want anybody to oppose the work because you see the church has a little division within it. And that division is those who want to work and those who don't want to work. That's our division. It's a division of Paul and Barnabas. Barnabas was ready to go with somebody who didn't want to work. But Paul said no, only workers. And that's the basis for you to continue to shine for God or to vanish. As Barnabas vanish forever and Paul continue to shine. You shine when you take up the work of God and you vanish when you stop working.

40:15So I didn't come here to massage your faces. I came to encourage you to take the mantle to build 1000 congregations in America. 1000 what? 1000 what? 1000 what? 1000 what? Congregations churches assemblies churches groups 1000 because gatherings because the 182 that includes first love and it is too small. How many are you agree with that? It is too small for a continent. It is way too small. Amen. So lift your hand now every standing. Lift your hand and receive.

41:27Father, I pray right now that upon this church and the leaders will come the blessing of the fruitful field. Put your mantle upon us. Let all the children that are here. All of us that are gathered here receive the mantle of the Lord. The mantle for 1000 churches 1000 congregations 1000 gatherings 1000 assemblies 1000 meetings on a Sunday in America. In the name of Jesus, in the name of Jesus, in the name of Jesus, let the spirit of Lauditia, the spirit of Amoké, the spirit of lukewarmness be taken away from us and let it be replaced with the spirit of zeal, a spirit of determination, a spirit of the anointing and of the grace of God.

42:39Lift your hand and receive the gift of God. Receive the help of the Lord. In the name of Jesus, in the name of Jesus. Father, thank you for your blessing that comes upon us today in Jesus name. Amen. Sit down very quickly. Now the mantle of Elijah, we are still on the mantle of the night in 2nd Kings chapter 2. Yes. Hello. If you are outside, please come. 43:39We're going to take a break soon. But before we take a break, I need you to listen because we are on the mantle, very important. Perfect mantle. The perfect mantle. This is the mantle of Elijah. I'm going to come to the perfect mantle. Now on the mantle of Elijah, 2nd Kings chapter 2. Number 8. Now we're going to start 2nd Kings chapter 2. Now let's read from verse 1. And he came to pass when the Lord would take Elijah to heaven by whirlwind that Elijah went with Elijah from Gilgal. And Elijah said to Elijah, stay here like he said to the first guy. I pray thee for the Lord that sent me to Bethel. And Elijah said to him, ask the Lord, leave it. This particular instruction I will not obey. I will not leave thee so they went to Bethel. And when the sons of the Lord

44:41and the prophets that were Bethel came forth to Elijah, they said, know as thou that the Lord will take away thy master from thy head today. And he said, I know it. Shut up. Verse 4. And Elijah said unto him, Elijah, Terry here, I pray thee for the Lord that sent me to Jericho. You stay here. I need to go to Jericho. I'll be back. And he said, ask the Lord, leave it. And as I so live it, I will not leave thee so they came to Jericho. And the sons of the prophets that were Jericho came to Elijah and said, do you know that the Lord is going to take away your master from your head today. It was something that was known in the prophetic circles that Elijah's ministry was coming to an end. And he said, shut up. And Elijah said, pray I stay here because the Lord has sent me to Jordan. And he said, ask the Lord, leave it. And as I so live it, I will not leave thee. And the two went on. And 50 men of the sons of the prophet went and stood afire of two view. And they too stood by Jordan. So 50 sons of the prophets stood afire to view. And they too stood by Jordan.

45:56Now Elijah took his mantle. He took his mantle and wrapped it together and smote the waters. And they were divided, heda and dhida so that the two went over on dry ground. Wow. Now ladies and gentlemen, are you watching everybody say real power. You see a mantle represents the power. Yes. You see, listen, today's what is today. Wednesday. We are in which country? America. I came here on Wednesday. I said, come. I need to see you to raise. And you are here. Look at all of you here. I said, if you don't work.

47:02Yes. Yes. Some of you travel far. Are you all here? Everybody said there's power here. Sit down. Sit down. Sit down. Sit down. Sit down. That's power here. Yes. What I'm trying to explain is that a mantle contains real power. And that's the power that you are receiving from me. Now beginning from today, you are no more going to be giftless. And you are no more going to be powerless. Real power comes into your life and your ministry. When I look at what the Lord has done in the ministry, I can only see power. That's why we wrap our faces in the distance. Don't look at me. I also feel shy that you look at me. What then what you are looking for.

48:16Yes. That's power here. That's why sometimes I say that's power here because I can feel that there's power here. That's power here. Amen. That's a great question. So I want you to believe, you know, I want you to be spiritual and believe in spiritual power. Without spiritual power, you cannot do much. All the things we are attempting to do, we become just like lecturers. We become like school teachers without the power of the Holy Spirit. So I want you to love this power. You know, Jesus said something. He that sent me with me. He said, my father has not left me alone.

49:22You know, sometimes your parents will not leave you. They always want to be in your things. Kalashadoma salabah, balabah, balabah. The father has not left me alone. Sometimes when I preach, at the crusade, sometimes I say big things and I'll be praying in my head, father. You better appear over there. Don't leave me alone. I've said so many big things. He that sent me is with me.

50:30I love it. Do you love this beautiful? He that sent me is with me. The father has not left me alone. For I do always the things that please him. That's power here. I said, that's power. And so power is going to be with you in your ministry. The Lord that I got in the midst of the is mighty. The Lord that I got in the midst of the is mighty. He will say he will deliver. He will fight. He will deliver you. He will rescue you because the Lord I got in the midst of the is mighty.

51:31Hallelujah. And so Elijah took the mantle. Elijah took the mantle. There's power here. And he struck the waters. What does we give electricity? Rivers which have so much power? He struck it. He struck it. When he struck it. He stopped moving. The kind of wall that you have to build to block a river to create a dam, like the Huva Dam. Those of you have ever been to the Huva Dam. The kind of concrete and the amount of concrete that you need. And that Huva Dam was in Elijah's mantle. He just struck the water and the Huva Dam came and blocked the river.

52:36That's power here. That's power here. Beginning from today. God like the Shembe. Your preaching will not be without power. Beginning from now your prayers will be with power.
