The Murder of Christine Lee Silawan

Lagim's third episode tells the story of 16-year-old Christine Lee Silawan from Lapu-Lapu City. On the morning of March 11th 2019, residents of Sitio Mahayahay in Lapu-Lapu City woke up to a gruesome discovery in their little village: the half-naked and mutilated body of Christine Lee Silawan.Christine's death prompted national and international outrage, which put a lot of pressure on the country's police agencies to speed up investigation and find the perpetrator or perpetrators of Christine's murder.After two arrests merely months after Christine's lifeless body was discovered, things finally looked like they could get better and justice could be served soon.
