0:00Hi, this is Doug Hewitt Mills. I'm glad you've joined me today. I believe this message will stir up your faith, strengthen you, and inspire you to serve him with zeal. Wherever you are, open your spirit. God is about to speak to you. Blessing today in Jesus' name, amen. You may be seated. Now, what a blessing. Yeah. Today I want to share with you on the subject I call the panacea. All right, the panacea. Do you know what a panacea is? Well, get the meaning and put it on the screen for us. We've got a nice screen. Yes. But meaning of the word panacea, P-A-N-A-C-E-A, panacea.

1:13A single solution, remedy or cure that is claimed or believed to solve all problems or heal all illnesses. Yes. Yes. Okay. I think it's aware that came from the Greek goddess panacea, a goddess of universal healing. But anyway, so what it means is a solution or a remedy or a cure. That seems to be a cure for everything. How many would like to have a cure for everything?

2:15Panacea. Now, I need you to write down what are you? Maybe three biggest problems. Four biggest problems. You know, seven biggest problems of your life. Three or two, or even just one. Whatever it is, my panacea today will solve according to the definition of the word. And you will see from the word of God, amen. So. Now,

3:21this panacea in James chapter four, there's ten. You can find it there. It says, humble yourself in the sight of the Lord and he shall lift you up. Now, humility is the panacea for all problems. Yeah. And I just want to present it to you as a possible way forward for you, amen. As a panacea, a possible solution for everything in your life. You see, when they go reveal to me that humility can solve almost every problem.

4:27Then he should meet some of the poorest places in the world. And he should meet that if this country, do you see, like the scripturalist is the second Chronicle seven of us for him, that if my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray. Do you see? And seek my face and tend from their wicked ways. I will forgive their sin. All right. I will hear and I will heal the land. Amen. Are you listening to me? So humility, which is a very or quite difficult thing to define.

5:32You see, it's actually a solution. Even let's say to go to heaven. Let's say you are destined to go to hell. If you were to be humble, you are likely to go to heaven. Which is the biggest problem you can ever have. I say, you might have been to go to hell. But if you were to humble yourself, you are likely to go to heaven. But if you remain proud, all right, you are likely to not go to heaven. So I am presenting to you today a solution for anything I want you to think about it practically. Amen. And I know God is going to confirm his word. Now, let us start with, let us start with being low, the solution to being low.

6:41How many realized sometimes in the UK? You can feel that you are in the lower grade. So the solution is to be lifted out of the looness. And the Bible is telling us that humble yourself, James chapter 4 verse 10, humble yourself in the sight of the Lord. And he shall lift you up. Or if you are in a society or in a country or in a group or in a nation, right, you realize that through humility, you go up. Now, how many watched this video? You see in this video, you see me interacting with presidents of nations,

7:45chatting with them. Do you get it? Relating with them. How did I come to a place where I will relate with these people? Or even all the presidents, past presidents of our country, since of Ghana, I should say, I don't know what country I'm from, but of Ghana, from the time of President Rollins, each and every one of them. I have interacted with personally. Yes. And many of them several times in their houses, in their offices, in my house. I've had the privilege of hosting for dinner, lunch, and so on. These people in my house, in my house. Now, you ask yourself, how would I ask one of the 33 million people in the country?

8:45Ever get a chance to relate with such people? Okay, then look at, let's apply to the scripture. humble yourself in the side of the Lord. So when I finished medical school, right, I humbled myself and took on the job of a person. My father told me, my son, my son cannot live from collection. No, he said it's not possible. Because he said, that's why people don't want their children to be pastest or priest. Why should my son, my son, will not live from a collection? Because we used to call offering collection. Serious. And, which one do you think is more respected, even in this country, at doctor or a pastor?

9:45No. So here I was a doctor and to choose to be a pastor, I was choosing in the societal ladder to go lower. Huh? And by the grace of God, by going lower, do you see the Lord has lifted me to even be able to even say hello or good. I never, I remember a time my life I never met any president. Yes, but today by the grace of God, I've seen so many. Yes. So I don't know how low you are in your company, in your business, in your community. But I'll tell you, the Bible says, the humble yourself in the sight of the Lord. It will be a reason for you to be lifted up or to be promoted.

10:51Whether at work, whether at, you know, when somebody was going to work, they are to the person, look, whatever your boss says at the meeting. Housefully agree with him at the meeting. Don't bring a different idea. And help the idea that he is bringing to work. You will be promoted at that workplace. You try to see. Yes. Does it work or it doesn't work? Yes. It works. I explain it at the staff meeting. I said, you see, what our manager I seen is this. He was trying to do this, do this, do this, do the, to do this, do this, do the manager will choose you as the main person in the company. Yes? Yes? And you go higher and further as against somebody who comes up with, well I'm not sure what this idea is going to work because you see there are three reasons why I think that it may not work because number one, this number two, this number, you will never

11:53go higher. I'm just telling you. Even though you are clever. Yeah? Okay. So in terms of your promotion, in terms of you going higher, in atmosphere of life, alright? Humility is a way to the top. In the kingdom of God it is a rule. Whoever exodes himself will be brought down. And whoever, whenever, wherever, humbles himself will be lifted up. Look for team, Basilev. Yeah. Whoever, whenever, wherever, humbles himself. Huh? Yes? Are you listening to me? Whenever, this law applied even to Lucifer, it is an eternal law in the heavens and in everywhere.

13:00That is why when Lucifer exalted himself, he became very low. Whoever, everybody say whoever, say whenever, say wherever. Yeah, at which ever point you exode yourself, you come down. Hey! It is a very frightening scripture. Huh? No, no, no. It is a scary scripture. I don't know whether I like this scripture, but it is a scripture. So remember, remember it at work. Remember it in your marriage. Remember it everywhere. Wherever. I had this words from Derek Prince. Yeah.

14:00A person's whose message on humility you will enjoy is Derek Prince. If you ever have a chance to listen to Derek Prince, yeah. A person whose message on humility you may enjoy is Derek Prince. If ever you get a chance to listen, yeah. They said it. They said it applied to Lucifer. Whenever, wherever, whatever, whoever exodes himself will be brought down. And whoever handles himself will go up. Remember it. It's a panacea for your rank situation. Yeah. Hmm. Number two. It's a panacea for your lack of support.

15:05How many have done so the way they didn't have enough support? How do you do so the need support? True or not true? I'm solving your problems today. You are trying to go to school but you don't have enough support. Or you are trying to be a good wife and cook some new things but you are not having enough support. Is it not true? Yes. You are trying to do something but you are not getting enough help or support for your project, for your work, for your ministry. All right? Now, support is about to come. Look at it. James chapter 4, verse 6. But he gave us more grace. Wherefore he says, God resisted the proud but gives grace or support to the humble.

16:09Yes. God gives grace to the humble. All right? That means that you are going to be receiving support and help for your life. God gives grace to the humble. Now, apart from all the problems you have in the world, can you imagine that God Himself decides to fight you? Like the devil is fighting you. God says, you have decided to resist you. That's what the verse is saying. God choosing you to say, you and I will resist, I will block you. I will put my foot there. I will never let you go past this point.

17:11But then, right on the other hand, the Bible says that God Himself decides to give you grace. Yes. God Himself decides to give you grace, to help you. And He does that for the humble. You humble yourself and you are low. Right? You find that not that God will fight you, but that God will now decide to help you. You see, I have never been watching a soccer match and you saw that you were supporting the team that was losing. Do you know that? That thing is a God, it's a God characteristic in you. You want the underdog to win. As it happened to you before, you want the team that is under to win, to beat these high superior people. Isn't it true?

18:11That is God's nature in you. Yes, it's God's nature in you that supports the humble or the low. Yes. So when you make yourself too big, you start to lose support. Yes, it starts to lose support. So humble yourself. Do you see? Humble yourself. I see you are playing instruments and all that here. I told somebody, not that you are whatever, don't stop singing. You know, you have the people, the young girls who sing in the choir, when they become big, it's like, I don't know. Really, do you see a past tense wife in the choir? Really? It's like a red phenomenon. You see the past tense wife for the first lady, she singing, Oh, Rose or Sharon, whatever. Oh, it is not the ability, it is the ability. As soon as they are exultant to the place of whatever, they all stop and they all use to be in the choir.

19:18Yes, it is not the ability. True or not true? True or not true? So humble yourself. God is going to bless you and support you. Amen. Number three, I am talking about a solution for everything. Now, how many want to, how many want protection? Protection. Protection. Sometimes you are saying, you are protecting me. Same here, I can see dangers all over the place. The solution for protection from disaster, from impending doom and impending evil is humility. Many people don't know that. I will show you in 1st Peter 5-5, which is the third panacea,

20:20it says, likewise, you younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yes, all of you be subject one to another and be clothed with humility. That means humility is a type of clothing or a type of covering for God, but resist the proud. Wow. Now, whoever you are, you know, whatever disaster is coming your way, how many would like to resist all that evil that is planned for you? You think Satan doesn't have plans. You know, when I see young pastes and church leaders, my main concern for them is

21:25the plans that Satan has for them. I just imagine the next 30 years, what Satan would like to do. Yes, that he is planning. Nothing new, because he uses mostly old plans. Satan doesn't give many new plans. Uncle James told me, yes, a ghost Satan has no new plans. He does the same thing all the time, but he keeps working. That's why he keeps doing it. Yes, it's the same thing all the time. So, one of the things that clothing is a protection. Most of us are wearing clothing as protection. Your clothing is your protection. That's why the armor is a discreet clothing. So, one of your great protection for your heart is your humility. Stay small. That's why Saul told Saul, Samuel told Saul,

22:29when you were small in your own eyes, I could call you and tell you this. But because it was you were small in your own eyes. Or Robert says that his mother told him the one advice his mother told me, always remain small in your own eyes. That's what his mother, the advice his mother gave him as a pastor. Stay small in your own eyes. Like I told one pastor who was grown up in my church, I said that some years ago you wouldn't have given me this answer. The answer you were giving me, it's not the answer you gave me some years ago. And years ago you gave me different answers. What you are saying now is different from what you said or you would have said some years ago. So, clothing is, and as the fellow said that,

23:29is it as a scripture, when that was little in that own eyes, was that not made the head of the tribes of Israel. The Lord anointed thee. Because when you are little, God makes you the head and anoints you. When you become big, no anointing for you, no appointment for you. Yes. You know why sometimes some girls will see a man and say, oh, hi, this is your baby here on the other side. Is it because they know that it's a baby we'll choose. Yes, it's a baby that we'll choose. Oh, hi, this is your baby. This is your baby on the other side. We'll choose a baby. We all want a baby. Come here, come here. You want a baby, we don't want a queen, we don't want any madam, we don't want any great woman, we don't want to miss us, we don't want whatever with us.

24:31And that is why many ladies sometimes I see them say, this is your baby, I am your baby, oh, that is your baby in some way. Really? And many times those who say that is because they are not babies at all. That's why they like saying that, baby, your baby is here. I don't know whether I'm angering you with my, my, my, my kitchen. Yes. Hi, baby. Oh, yeah, this is your baby, man, this is your baby. So, a baby will be carried. A baby will be protected. Amen. A baby will be appointed. A baby will be made ahead. So, that's why I said that. When you wear small, that's when I appointed you.

25:34In your own eyes. But you see, sit down. Pride is not something that, when I preach about this, I feel I'm preaching about, I'm almost preaching about the air. Like saying, tell someone, be careful of breathing. Because pride is so nebulous. And it comes in so many invisible formats that is very difficult to see. And to know. So, what I'm preaching is just going to help maybe something small to protect you from pride. Most older people are proud. You see, the Bible calls it the pride of life. The more life you have, the more proud you are. If you are older, you should assume that you are proud.

26:38You see, if I preach, a younger person will smile and look happy. And all that person will be looking. So, I'm not moved by what you are saying. I know all these things you are saying. That is a difference. So, everyone who is older should assume that there is some pride that has come to you because you have lived. Yes. And you know much, much more. And the things you know are true. Yes. The things you know are true. They are not out of the sky. They came up to practically. So, you are experienced. When you see a pastor like me, you say, look, your type of, I know you. You know, one day I went to preaching a church in a certain country.

27:38They found out of that church. Very, very large church had been in that country from 1955 to 1966. And there was an elderly man who was there when that founder was there. And I was the one who was going to preach. This is about 15 years ago. I don't know, I'm a year ago. The church had made a small fly about me. The man I sat down the mountains, he just looked at me. He was an ancient of day young being there for a long time. He just looked at me. Then he took the fly. And he just looked at it. Then he just put it down. He just sat there. I think he even closed his eyes. And just whatever. I mean, it was not interesting. I think the middle of it just left. Oh, yes. He knows, we see a young person coming to preach.

28:40He said, these are my children talking. I know where to end. I know how it is. And it's true, he knows. It's true, he knows. But that is how age and what do you call it comes? Yes. Repride comes. It's so nebulous. And there are reasons for it. Yes. That's why you can get a young girl and tell her, I love you, baby. She will be giggling, she will be happy, excited. All that person said, I love you. And she said, let's see, let's see, let's see. That's what you are saying. It's not big before. You see something that will move me. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. So, are you seeing that it's a panacea? Yes. Number, how many numbers do you have? Oh. Number four.

29:41Panacea, it's a panacea against destruction. You have destruction of your life. It's if you, anything that want to destroy you, it will prevent. So, in Proverbs 16 verse 18, it says, pride goeth before destruction. So, if you are going to be destroyed, it destroys destruction of your marriage. Do you get it? My marriage is destroyed. My family is destroyed. No, humility can reverse it if it's reversible. Humility can reverse. Yes. Humility can reverse. Like there's no peace in your house. There's no peace in your house because you always are giving. You know, I argue with almost nobody, but I do still have some arguments.

30:43But if I argue with somebody, it means the person probably is not one of my pastes or somebody that I'm working with. Then I nobody argues with me. Nobody argues with me. Because they are all, I'm the found, I'm the undisputable leader of the church. So, there's no argument. I don't have arguments. I don't have arguments. I would only have arguments with somebody who thinks of himself in a certain way. I don't know if you get my English points. So, if you are at home and you are having arguments, husband and wife are having arguments, it means there are two somehow equal-like types of persons, people in the system.

31:43Yes. There's a lot of equality. Yes. You get it. I think this and you think that and I think that's your opinion and that's my opinion. So, you said, my mind is destroyed. I was destroyed because of arguments, destroy marriages. There is a book, How to Win Friends and Influence People. That book is one of the famous best selling books. It teaches you how to have friends and to influence people. The main thing is that don't argue. He explains that arguments don't change anybody's mind. My mind has not changed by arguments. There's no one I've ever argued with who I've changed my mind. Rather, I become more resistant. You too. Don't look at me as if I'm whatever.

32:43That's how you are. I'm the wrong group. Maybe. So, beginning from today, I tell you, you know, just calm down. Just shut up. Just shut up. There are a whole lot of people in Marida should be told shut up. Just shut up and just follow. Shut up and follow. You become so much happier. My marriage is destroyed. I will be destroyed. Let's shut up and follow. Oh. I see that. I see that. I see that. Number five. Panacea. Recover your marriages. Recover your happiness. Shame.

33:43Humility will remove shame. Yes. You see, because when you are low, you can't go lower. When you are down, you can't go down. You can't go further. Because you are walking on the ground. Yes. You are already down. You've taken a low place. So, Provef chapter 11 verse 2 says, How many of you have given you now? Six. Five. This five is good. Now, you know, many people walk in sin. And you know, many people walk in sin. And you know, many people walk in sin. And you know, many people walk in sin. And you know, many people walk in sin. Because they don't humble themselves.

34:43To accept that they are human beings. Yes. They are not humble. The attempt that I've spoken to pastes, people have told them, you know, this is a solution. This is important. They don't say, like, opening like that to me, but by their actions. They don't really believe what I'm saying. Yes. And then comes shame. Yes. If I share something with you, you use it rather to mock me. You see, you turn it around to rather mock me. As if, you know, why would I give such advice or why would I say, sorry, actually, I should have suggested advice to you. But the Bible says that, you see, many, many sins, including the sin of pride, comes by family putting your hand on the ground. I am standing on the floor. I'm most going to stand up there.

35:45Yeah. You get it? Yes. And there are things you must be able to say, I can't do this. No, I can't. I can't make it. How many have eaten your tides before? Nobody has eaten it. Nobody has eaten it. Nobody has eaten it. Nobody has eaten it. Nobody has eaten it. One day I saw a brother, he had a phone. There's a phone we call a yum phone. You know what it's a yum phone? Like, he doesn't have internet and whatever. Yeah. Yes. He doesn't have all those. What is this? Why did a phone call is this? I know myself. If I have the other type, I would look at pornography.

36:49So I've handled myself. This is the phone I can use. And I'm using this phone. I've gone for a hand. Yes. Some of you visit, you visit somebody for the person to comfort you. And during the confrontation, you're doing the confrontation. You should have said, me, I know myself. I don't want trouble. I don't like autism. I can't go. That's all. Carla Bashada. So, through this message, you get it. All your problems are solved. Let's take one of the poorest countries in the world. Whose name begins with one of the Afabets?

37:50Who maybe doesn't even have a currency. Or doesn't have any economy. Nothing is working. And they used to be maybe a colony of certain countries. If they were to say, hands up. Who cannot manage your country? We are, we cannot. Come for us. Come, believe. We want to use your currency. Do you think the country would change or it would not change? It would change. One step of humility would end every destruction. Every time we just end in just one thing. But that is what we would not do. Amazing, isn't it? So, when Germany invaded France during the Second World War,

38:53when they invaded France, their friends would say, it's okay, take everything. Because they were going to blow their cathedrals or the things that you would see in Paris. We beg you, we are the country. Take it. Yes? That's why today when you go to Paris, you still see all those things there. When they, when they, when they, it's for you. You say, when you are down, you can't go lower. How many relics are humility? It's actually a solution for many things. Yes, it's a panacea. So, made a lot of grant you the grace. I don't know how, but I pray that at least one of your problems can be solved today by the grace of God. Stand to your feet, everyone.

39:55Lift up your hand. If you are here today, maybe somebody invited you to church. You don't know Jesus as your savior. You want to say, pastor, I want to give my life to Jesus Christ. If you are here like that, and you want to give your life to God today, want me to pray with you to give your life to Jesus. You want to take a decision and humble yourself and say, I need God. I need Jesus. I want the panacea. I want Jesus to change my life. If you are here like that, lift your hand like this. Like how I lifted up my hand like this. And I'm going to pray with you. God bless you. God bless you. Lift it up high. Humble yourself today and say, yes, Lord, I need Jesus. I want Jesus. Okay, I see your hand. Come to me if you lifted your hand. Come. Come.

40:55Stand here. This is the greatest step. Listen, this is the greatest step you will ever take in your life. And it solves the greatest problem that you may ever have. The problem of your life. Lift your hand like this. And say this prayer with me. I want everybody to join. Also, everybody also lift your hand. Everybody also close your eyes. And say with me, say, Jesus. Coming to my life. Today, I humble myself. I ask you. To come into my heart and change me. Wash away my sins with the blood of Jesus.

41:55From today, from today, I open my heart. I receive Jesus as my Savior. As my Savior. As my Savior. As my Master. As my Master. As my Lord. Thank you. Thank you, Jesus. Please write my name in the book of life. Thank you, Lord, for saving me today. In Jesus' name. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen. Now lift your hand like this. Say after me, say time. And the name of Jesus. From today, I will not follow you again. I belong to God. And I belong to Jesus. Now lift your hand. Say thank you, Jesus. For saving my life today.
