Contemplate the Lord Jesus in death:

* How darkness encompassed everything;

* How fear entered into everyone present beneath the Cross;

* How the frightened centurion on guard cried out: Truly this was the Son of God! (Matthew 27:54);

* How the prophecy of our Lord’s death was fulfilled.
