Hey, I arrived almost here. Are you ready? Just grabbing my shoes. That's what you said 10 minutes ago. I just wrapped a video call, uploading this giant file on my tablet, looking at my watch group and Nana's with the group chat, and of course, still lining up tonight's playlist on my phone. All at once? Yep, story of my life. That's why I switched to D-Mobile. They have the fastest 5G network. Okay, multitasker. I see you. Honestly, I never imagined I could do all this at once. It's awesome. Say no more, I'm totally switching. My post is taking way too long to upload. That's a sign you've got to get D-Mobile. So many reasons to join D-Mobile. Find yours at T-Mobile.com. Have you ever felt like you were living just a B or B-plus life?

It's so dangerous to live that more dangerous than a B-minus or a C-plus life because when you're living a B or B-plus life, you don't change it. You think it's good enough? Is it? I'm Susie Welch. I host a podcast called Becoming You. People think, okay, an A-plus life is not available to me, but there is a way. We are all in the process of becoming ourselves. Listen to Becoming You, wherever you get your podcasts. There is a giant Dave Remington trophy in the studio. You got to tell me what's going on here. And that, by the way, that is, I don't want to get in trouble like Aaron Andrews, but that's the greatest ass on a trophy that has ever been made. All right, so what an ass on that trophy. So if you know Dave Remington was one of my, I often tell stories about him. One of my first teammates in Cincinnati that took me under his wing. And he was a great offensive center at Nebraska, who won both the Outland trophy, the Lamberti trophy, all American. He was an academic all American.

I mean, he was amazing back in 79 and 82. Nobody ever looked like he did playing center. Yeah. If you go back and you watch old film of him, you'll see he looked like he was a running back at center because he was off the ball so fast. And he was at the second level and he was basically crushing defensive lineman. So back in 2000, Dave, by the way, I asked Dave to come back. He was jean at Wisconsin under Barry Alvarez when he retired. He was going to become a coach. And when Gunner was diagnosed with CF, I said, Dave, would you come back and run the foundation for me, be the president, get this whole thing off the ground and learn about what it takes to run a non-profit. Yeah. So he did that. And so in 2000, I said, you know what, why isn't there a trophy honoring the best center in college football? And why don't we name it after you? I think your legacy obviously stands tall out in the state of Nebraska. It's like Jesus is walking.

And it's the parting of the Red Sea when you go to their stadium and they love him and link in. They love him in Omaha. He's from South Omaha high school. And he's just a great human being. And I said, can we name a trophy after you? Maybe we'll build something around it and raise some money for cystic fibrosis. And he reluctantly agreed. Okay. So I went to Mark Mellon, a world renowned sculptor who does bronze statues like this has done statues of Michael Jordan, Steph Curry, Yana Santa de Cumpo, George Bush. I mean, he's just, it's amazing. So he and Mark Mellon developed a friendship and Dave and Mark came up with this unbelievable trophy. There was about 50 pounds. And I think the thing is awesome. And I've never seen any trophy in that shape because you don't normally get an offensive lineman or a center shape when you're doing something like this. It is remarkable. Right. So Mark did an unbelievable job. Dave helped them curate it, look at it and Cump up with an idea. And we've had, what?

I think we've had 26 winners to this point or 27. Eight have gone on to the NFL. Tyler Lindobom was the last one that, you know, that actually just moved to Las Vegas and probably the richest center in the history of the sport and the Charles Bentley, one of the four Ohio State. So we actually are going to take this trophy around to different games this year. We're going to actually promote it. Nice. We have it really promoting. ESPN picks it up. It is part of the, you know, the national college award ceremonies. Great. And so it does have legitimacy, but it's a beautiful, beautiful trophy. And then every year we give it to the winner out in Lincoln, Nebraska at the Rococo theater. All the Rococo theater. Love the Rococo theater. See how much this thing weighs. Yeah, I know I saw Bob Plansker having a, having issue with it. He's a nice strong man. By the way, this thing is so realistic in the break. You were sticking your hands underneath his butt. It was crazy. You just were having flashbacks in the front. I have is when he's y'all and at me through his legs when he's giving me the shotgun.

Right, right. I'm going to go no left. That thing is awesome. And I, I met Dave many times. He's just one of the greatest guys. So this is, this is a really, really cool thing. And I hope that I know those in the past that have wanted. I've really understood what it meant. And I hope this year's winner understands and sees this trophy. And it's a, it's a legacy thing, man. It's all really, really is. It's a great legacy thing. But the thing it, so we're going to take it to an army game. I think we're going to take it to a Ohio State Oregon game. You know, we have about 30 guys that are on the watch list. You know, so, you know, a lot of schools are involved in the promotion of this and really, you know, getting it out there. But when the guys get it and they see it for the first time, they can't believe it. I mean, I put a beautiful trophy. Now, Al, maybe you can do this. Put in Division I football awards and see how many ESPN recognizes. I know they recognized the Remington trophy. I think the rest of the awards may be except for this one

and maybe one other. Hey, all right. It's almost here. Are you ready? Just grabbing my shoes. That's what you said 10 minutes ago. Oh, really? Dave's alive. You know, I'm trying to get him like taking out get out there. Yeah, a little bit more. He's retired from our foundation right after 2020, right after the COVID, and he moved down to Florida with his beautiful family. So, you know, I'm trying. Like, I don't know. He might be a burning man right now. Oh, he loves that. I don't know. Is burning man going on right now or something? I don't think so. I think I'm not sure when it goes. Okay. Quite frankly, but yeah. I mean, he's gone to that many years in a row to take pictures. Very interesting man. Yeah, he's a photographer. Yeah. Yeah, get him out there, man. Yeah, how many how many awards do you see? There's many awards. There's like three, six, nine, 12, 15, 18. Not a Kippy. They can't be that many awards. I mean, the major ones are Heisman, right? Teddy Hendrix award. There's a lot of awards. A lot of awards. They love a good award here. Everybody loves a good award. What about this one? The Warful trophy. Danny Warful. He's the best all I've ever played. He better be. That would be tragic, right? Can't be that old. What is that for? Not sure. Okay. The Warful trophy. I'm a Warful Award winner. Goes to the Heisman winner who has no shot

of doing anything in the pro's. Yeah, he's 52, Danny Warful. What is his award for Danny Warful Award? College premiere award for the best FBS player. So yeah, so that's all right. So you have a bunch of different awards, but this is one of the major ones here. And we see we have seven former winners that have earned all rookie more than 20 combined pro balls selections. They've played combined trophy winners that have played over 1500 games. Right now, let's say eight former roommate and trophy winners are currently playing in the NFL, including the great Tyra Lindorbaum, the highest paid center in NFL history, by the way, by the Raiders. You know, the Warful trophy's got a sponsor. You know, you got a sponsor on this thing. It's the all state Warful trophy. Is it really? Yeah. Well, why don't we make this the Ford Remington trophy?

Or something and whatever. I don't know. I'll figure it out. I'm sure my man Tony Toronto's all over it. Let's see. Yes, right now. California cryo bank. Yeah, he had a great trophy. That would be great. The incogni. You know, you know what fits with you? Like the Walter something. Yeah, like Milwaukee tools or somebody like that. What about Romeo Fuel? Romeo, well, they're local. Oh, okay. You need more of a national brand. All right. Oh, the wheels are turning now. I think they are. I guess North Shore. Oh, don't die. Yeah, put one on. Yeah. I mean, you'd have to have a life size one. Look at the bucket on this trophy. You can pick this thing up. I don't think it's shot. Well, I can't see if you could pick it up. He's been lifting a little bit, I think. Yes. I mean, it is heavy. Don't mind the drilling. Yeah. All right, here we go. Yeah. Oh, here he goes. He's just do some curls.

Because I know you like to do curls. Yeah, look, he is lifting. Look at those arms. Good job. Wow. Wow. Nice. They really do. Look at that. That's all that works. Wow. Maybe you should join Charlton with some blue chew. The blue chew rimmington trophy. Yeah. The better sex. Boner time. Sex isn't just about physical. Sex is about mental. Oh, come on. Look at how his arms though. I know. Well, you better screenshot that. That is some thirst trap material. Yeah. That was good profile pick. Yeah. His tag new profile pick for sure. You got to. That was good, man. You know, I know, I don't want to glaze you here. But, man, oh, man. It's the only muscle that does anything in the gym. I could do other things. Nothing happens. Huh. And that arm takes to with them. Hey, our ride's almost here. Are you ready? Just grabbing my shoes. That's what you said 10 minutes ago.
