Drew had always been fascinated by the paranormal. Growing up in northeastern Pennsylvania, he lived not far from places that had drawn national attention from investigators like Ed and Lorraine Warren.
But the strangest experiences didn’t happen there. They happened years later in a quiet house on Maryland’s eastern shore.
At first the activity was subtle—strange sounds, distant conversations, footsteps when no one else was home. Then one day Drew’s wife walked into their bedroom and saw something that changed how he looked at the house entirely.
Someone was sitting on the edge of the bed.

This ReuncoStories Online.
The order that was a ghost and impregnating it
as I have order half human.
I guess anything's possible.
I don't know what the hell was going on in that house.
Yes, let's end the episode right before this one.
And you can hear the song about that.
Oh, yeah, it's right.
We made a song about it too, yes.
And it's not just us singing.
It's a beautifully composed song
inspired by Carly Simon's coming around again.
And if someone's listening to this going,
am I really high right now?
Am I hearing what I'm thinking?
Is this a fever dream?
No, it's not.
It's just real ghost stories online.
No, you're not high.
We're high.
We're high, right?
We're high and we're making this shed in real time.
Welcome to the show.
But yeah, it's, I don't know, it's that's an interesting concept there of what exactly,
what exactly did she walk into the bedroom and she couldn't explain?
I guess we'll find out.
Maybe her husband.
It almost sounds like a true crime.
Yeah, isn't it?
Like, this is weird.
Let's go to that call right away.
Then we'll discuss on the opposite end of this.
855, 853, 4802 is our phone number here at Real Ghost Stories Online.
Let's hear it.
Hey guys, how's it going?
This is Drew calling from Mellon.
I'd love to show.
I've always been interested in the paranormal.
And from one up, I grew up in an area of northeastern Pennsylvania where,
I don't know if you've heard of it, but the Smirl House,
which was investigated by the Warrons in the mid-80s.
Was right down the roof of the house, also the Wellthouse in Wuxper.
That's a lot of annual tests.
Supposedly, one of the most harder places is in
these coasts or whatever.
What have you?
It's been a lot of investigations there.
So I've always been exposed to it, but I've always been interested in that kind of thing.
And I'm just going about a little story, about a place I lived in,
in a Queen's town here in Eastern Shore, Maryland.
Moved into a house in around 2006.
House was wasn't an old house.
It was built in the late 70s, early 80s, I believe.
But when we moved in, it was just kind of a weird feeling.
Kind of like the feeling of the old wash, but nothing though or a welding.
But I would experience stuff like I would keep hearing conversations like St.
like someone left a TV on the other room, or something like that.
So like upstairs, so I'd go upstairs, but if I left a TV on,
and not to come back downstairs, sit down, I would hear it all over again.
That would go on, and I would hear footsteps, and you know, that kind of stuff,
just very subtle things, but you're pretty continuous-based here and there.
But in any event, well, I came home from work one day and my wife,
at the time, had said, hey, son, I tell you, I came home, walked into our bedroom,
and saw a man sitting on the edge of our bed staring at the window.
It kind of just confirmed all the things that I have been doing.
And stuff like that, other things, I would never tell my houseguesting things.
I wouldn't want to, you know, scare away or have them not want to come around or stay
the house, or anything like that, so I kind of kept everything quiet.
But, you know, my house, because today, the TV turned on,
left through the channels and turned off, or just kind of weird things happened around the house,
and when she had said that she saw someone sitting on the edge of the bed staring at the window,
it kind of brought things to another level.
I was pretty shocked by that.
So she said, she basically turned around, got freaked out, walked out the room, and turned around,
and looked back in, and, you know, once she had the guts to look back in, the man was gone.
That was pretty crazy. I will eventually, we ended up selling a washer and dryer that we had.
And, you guys came to pick it up.
The one with a local school bus driver, he came and picked it up, he was with a friend of his,
and the friend of his was walking around the house, and said, oh, this is the old house,
comes around and stuff. You know, I used to think of him as their house, his daughter,
and there's a lot of memories in the house, and he started to look like he was a better guy,
and he showed up, and, you know, I thought it was kind of weird.
So, I said, you know, if you're online, you ask, you know, it seems like you're getting
a little emotional, and there's a reason why, you know, you're getting, uh,
showed up when you talk about it. He's like, oh, uh, I don't know if you knew this or not, but,
Mr. Hoskins had died two years ago. And, uh, I said, no, she's, I don't, I had no idea.
And, um, but when he said that, everything clicked, everything was just, you know, wow, you know,
because it was almost two years, almost a day, um, a woman, my wife at the time,
as that had actually seen the man sitting on the edge of the bed. So, it kind of all made sense
to not click that on. It was probably him, in my mind, I was thinking about probably just kind of,
you know, saying by the house and get one more look out the, uh, out the window, we sort of
moved on, but that house had a lot of, um, a lot of little stuff here and there. But anyway, um,
just want to run that by and see what you guys thought about it off. Just a lot of, um, little
things here and there. I don't know. It seemed like something was really connected, um,
because there was a lot of other stuff going on, but besides that, so I don't know whether
what told, you know, things to that house or, you know, what the reasons were, um, just want
to run that by you. And, um, just say I love you show and see what you guys thought. Um,
I have a lot more stories, stories, um, to guys who like to hear and, um, take care. Bye, guys.
What's your thoughts? What's your thoughts and all that? I think it's so different here in a
ghost story with the light 99 playing behind me. I'm sorry, I didn't get a really great attention
to ghost story. I started messing around with like making music.
And it's like playing behind the beast on this ghost story. It's like move jazz happening behind
them. Um, I'm trying to make spooky sounding music and that's what came up.
You know, Tony, I know your mom loves smooth jazz. She probably would like that song.
Who do you like? I'm going to make my mom a whole fucking. Oh my god. That's a great idea.
But honestly, it's, you could take what I really, again, we're getting totally fucking off track
here as we always do. Um, but you can take what I love about this AI music ship is there's so many
genres of music that have not been reproduced, um, to any extent since their era, like 90s
adult contemporary, 80s adult, they're just, there isn't anything that sounds like it other
than going back to that material. You can make it now. You can create it. You can, you can create
it in the damn voices of these artists. So I'm excited to make brand new hits from the Eagles
as Don Henley prepares to roll over in his grave. Um, but it's there, there's just so many crazy
things you can do with this shit. It's, can you imagine being able to like, so I'm a fan of like
the golden girls and also a fan of like night court from the 80s and all that kind of stuff.
Just take the best parts of the show and create some new episodes because you can do it.
It shows a million times. Well, here's the first thing I did when, when, when chat GPT came about,
I said, write me a new script for Frazier, write me a new script, new episode of cheers.
And ever reading it in the car, like when I was doing this because I was driving and written,
I was, I was actually, I was going to say, well, I'm driving. I'm driving and like right
episode of cheers. I'm driving to the highway. Um, but I remember doing it and like,
shit, this is like funny. Like it's like, this is like actually material. And just the idea of a
script, um, you can make a song. You can make 15, 20 second videos right now. Give it another
year or two. You will people, I mean, there will be issues with rights and such, but there's always
workarounds. You will be able to develop that sort of thing like that. I mean, just it's insane.
It's insane. You can have it a concept for a sitcom in your head and go, there'll be a funny show.
What in it? Boom. There's your first pilot episode. If you have the ambition to type it into
with something and explain it and, and, and have it expand, that, that's the insanity of this.
It's, it's, it blows my mind. I mean, I thought, you know, okay, here's the future. Here's what's
coming as a kid of the 90s growing up with the internet, growing up with a lot of these things
evolving. I remember the world prior. I'm the last generation that remembers the world prior,
but I know the world forward and I grew up with more of that than the prior, but I remember the
prior. This idea that you can do this shit. I don't know. I mean, I, but they think if you look
back a hundred years, the fact that people are going, you can get in a vehicle and you can drive
from here to Kansas City. Right. Yeah. You can do that in a day. It's crazy. You know,
you don't give it a hundred years. Whatever is insane now is going to be completely normal then.
And I think what's interesting about our mortality is interest is realizing how not far back
the previous generations were that we thought were so far back that we thought, oh, that's a long,
long time ago. It's like, no, they really weren't. No, not at all. No, not at all.
No, not anything to do with that phone call. Sorry. We got totally derailed, but yeah.
A back to the phone call though. So the guy's just, she just sees in the bedroom
a guy sitting there, which would totally freak me out. Yeah. Because I would go to rapist.
Yeah. Robert, murder, all those things before I would go to ghost. And then it's interesting how
it came back around and they either bought or sold a washer and dryer set. I think they sold it
and somebody came to pick it up gave him the back story of the house. You know, maybe it was a guy
who used to own the house. Yeah. And then what in what was his bedroom looking outside?
It kind of reminds me of the movie, the others where,
movie, these people were in her house and she didn't know why they were there kind of thing.
That's, that was just the feeling that I got. And also like, no spoilers. But if you haven't
seen the movie, her husband comes back for a day or so or whatever. And then he goes walking
away after they have a, I think, a trist in the bed. And it turns out, you know, she's dead.
And he's apparently dead. And it's, it's just, that's what it reminding me of. It's like,
it blows your mind. Yeah. Yeah. That's what it's, yeah, exactly.
Yeah. I thought that was interesting, but that movie is so good. If you haven't seen it,
you got to see that one. No, it's, it is, it's very, very spooky. Thank you for sharing that with us,
do greatly appreciate it. 855, 853, 48 or two is our phone number here at Real Go stories online.
Like, again, I'm stuck on the AI shit because I'm a fucking autistic person. And, and, and my brain
just gets stuck on things. But things have been like coming through my mind of like,
take a ghost story, throw it in there, make it into a song. Like, it would be interesting.
I don't know. Like, is there a, is there an appetite for that in the ghost story world?
If we started making music out of these ghost stories, and I don't know, like,
let's do one next week. Let's do a ghost story song for next week. It'd be fun to do. It'd be very
interesting. Um, I'll send you somebody's ghost story. Yeah, because, you know, I'll just get
a one of the new ones and send it to you so they can hear their, their story for the first time.
Like, what if we trailed out of the show with a song that was based on the last ghost story?
I don't know. I mean, I, I, I don't know. I can give it a shot and see how it goes, you know.
I'm going to play a song for you all. Um, yeah, it's, I'm not, I'm, I'm still working on this
thing and editing it up a bit, but I want to play just kind of the raw version of it.
Um, it's not ghostly. Um, but it's, it's, I think this is going to be the first song from Jay
Rome. Um, and it's three minutes and 30 seconds. And after this, we'll go into our next ghost story.
This, this is your single on American top 40. I'm Casey, Casey.
This is the brand new single from Jay Rome. It's called mind cleanse on American top 40.
Oh,
empty spaces in my head. They used to be full of dread. You live there and free.
You see, now there's just me, just me, just most dancing in the sun.
My eviction notice finally done, my cleanse, baby, my cleanse, no more dark clouds, no more
pleases, my cleanse, honey, brand, no more, you finally just me, finally just me.
Your voice, your whisper nasty hum, my thoughts, they don't always come.
See a trauma in this fight, now I sleep through the night, the echo faded, the ghost is gone,
my whole sweet song, I sing along, no more shadows, no more lies, just open skies, open skies,
my eviction, baby, my cleanse, no more dark clouds, no more lies, no more
It's like his voice turns into a saxophone, it's kind of amazing.
Oh, oh, oh, oh, please, this is my cleanse,
empty spaces in my head.
That's J-Room moving up an arch to number 25 of the countdown with mine clents.
I'm Kasey Kasim.
You know, the one thing I'm going to love in that talk would do have been can you sample
Carly Simon in there doing the coming around again?
No.
I mean, I'd like to like not completely sample this thing.
I actually want to like going to work the sampling.
I'm trying to like use it as inspiration that feel in that sound, not to completely
sample the song.
It's a very early edit of this thing.
I've been playing with it.
I've been like like some of the other edits I've been making, I'm like mixing in sax
I've found I'm mixing in other things more beats.
But it's it's a very early example of like what can be done here.
And I think that's my next fun thing.
I'm going to go be a music producer.
Well, we've done ghost stories.
I'm doing true crime.
I think the next thing is conquering the world of R&B.
You can do an event and have Stevie B show up too.
Is that who is Stevie B?
Is that his name?
Oh, what are you talking about?
Dindy sing a song.
I know you're talking to who is that?
It's not Steve.
Yeah, I know what you're saying.
God damn it.
It's something.
I know what you're talking about.
Yeah, Stevie B did the song spring love because I love you.
Yeah.
Is that Stevie B?
Was that his name?
Stevie B.
Yeah.
Stevie B.
Oh, God, I forgot about that one.
That'd be a fun example.
So maybe you could do an event with Stevie B.
I think so.
Maybe Stevie B or I don't know whether or not we get other one hit wonder or something.
I don't want to insult anybody.
I just saw a, in episode, what's his name from Boys to Men?
He has a podcast now where he's interviewing all sorts of artists and really kind of going
to stuff.
He had Tony Rich on the other day.
Oh, yeah.
And I, it was a great interview because Tony Rich, nobody knows it, but me as a song.
Nobody knows it, but me, one of my favorite songs.
But it was kind of, you know, someone of a one hit wonder, he had a couple of his songs
like a woman, great fucking song, a couple of other ones that were really good.
But again, it was, you know, kind of unless you knew his stuff, you knew his stuff, but
it was really fascinating.
But I have a Tony Rich story from years.
So this was way the fuck back, it's doing country radio.
And he had like come up with a new album.
So somebody had done, who did nobody knows?
He's dead.
Ryan.
Ryan.
He came to the, I remember talking to him in the studio one day.
He was bald.
I think it was Tony Rich, Tony Rich, brother, Tony.
Kevin Sharp, covered Tony Rich.
Yeah.
Kevin Sharp did the country version of nobody knows the name.
And I, I had reached out to Tony Rich because I wanted to do it interview with him.
And I remember like waking up, he didn't have a PR team or anything, because he only
had like the one hit.
And it was in my apartment in, in Fondelac actually.
And I get a call at like 7.30 a.m. and I'm still sleeping, some doing nights at a country
station.
And like, hello, he's like, hey, is Tony, I'm like, yeah, it's Tony Rich.
Like what?
Like, as in Tony Rich project, he's like, yeah, I'm like, oh God, because I just, I emailed
him through the website of like, love to do an interview.
And usually the PR folks call you not the actual artist.
And yeah, if we did an interview, it was funny, it was a good conversation.
But yeah, random shit, which is pretty much what you get on the show all the time.
Welcome to our, our cornucopia of randomness.
Let's go to another phone call, 855-853-4802, is our phone number here at Real Ghost Stories
Online?
Hi.
I just started listening to your show and it's been pretty interesting so far.
Anyway, so here's my story.
I had lived in Florida at the time, I was pretty young, I was like 9 or 10.
And my dad had passed away when I was about 7.
And he had bought me a Pikachu doll, one of those electronic ones where you squeeze the
paw and it says Pikachu, because I love Pokemon on the kid.
It says Pikachu in the cheek's light up and everything and it was, it was a great toy,
look, one of my favorite things I need ever bought me.
Well, it was the only thing I had left on him, so we can move various times, sent you
a dime.
And I was with my friends, I had two friends over, it was my birthday, it was a Saturday
night, and it's why we were, that's why they were there.
We're all hanging out, we're playing poker and out of nowhere, we hear my Pikachu doll,
say Pikachu.
We all looked over and looked at the doll and we were like, did that really just happen?
And we waited a minute and nothing happened, so we started playing again, about an hour
later it happened again, we looked over and we're like, okay, something's going on.
And again, and again, and again, and the frequency started to get less, and they started
to get more and more frequent, and to the point where they were overlapping, like it was
just stuttering the key in Pikachu, it got, it freaked us out so much.
I ran over, I shut it off, I took the battery pack out, and it's up, so we set it back
down, and we were like, okay, well, let's, we're getting out of the rooms.
So into the living room, and there was the toe of water on the floor, there's no water
bottles anywhere around, there's no leak through the ceiling, we had no idea where this water
came from, and we looked up, and there was my happy birthday balloons, they didn't have
any weights at the bottom of them, and they were about full of helium, so they should have
been floating to the ceiling, but they weren't.
They were kind of just chilling in the middle of the room, and they were coming towards us,
if there was like a draft, or if somebody was carrying them towards me, all three of us,
we were so freaked out by this, we spent the night in the car, that's how scared we
were.
Anyway, that was my first story, the second story was, I was watching some movie trailers,
this actually happened about three weeks ago.
I was watching some movie trailers, and it was just watching, you know, video, they came
across the phone trailer of this movie, Unfriended, which is a psychological ghost thriller,
I guess.
So it was like, oh, this looks pretty good, so I looked at it, and it kind of freaked
me out for a minute, and I was like, well, it's a pretty crazy trailer, so it got me
interested, and I kept asking, looking up, and it goes, demons and stuff, and then I came
across this list of the 13 most powerful demons.
I started reading, and by the time I got to the first name, I stopped, and I backed out
of the page, I was like, this is not a pass, I want to go down, and I didn't do anything
else, and all I could hear in my head was that name, he was ringing over and over and over
again, and it was starting to really freaked me out, I was like, why can't I stop thinking
about this, and then it all stopped, and this feeling of like pure malevolence was just
sitting over me like a lead weight, and I have never felt something so terrifying in my entire
life.
It was the most evil presence I have ever come in contact with today, and I never want
to go there again, so I just prayed, and it was like, get this out of here, after about
10 minutes it was gone, and that's my story, so thanks again, thanks for guys for having
the show, and I appreciate you listening.
Don't close your eyes, it's already tasting your goodbyes, a durable tear, a pint-sized
doom, your Pikachu is waiting in the room, your Pikachu dog is fucking crazy, and it's
never ever going away.
That's my thoughts on the story.
That was like the closing number of the first act of the Pikachu is like a crazy musical,
yes, and then it goes into action, we all get a break after that, so we'll be coming up
in 15 minutes, and that level of production was made in 30 seconds, oh my god, it's insane,
it's brilliant, yeah, unbelievable, oh my god, that's so funny, thoughts on the Pikachu
story.
Oh yeah, that's right, after that, I thought that was really strange, and I'm getting
guests as guys like next time, he's like, hey, you all want to come over and play poker,
you were like, no, we'd rather not, because all of those weird things happen, there was
like the Pikachu doll is possessed, there's the mysterious pool of water, there was one
more thing that happened, you know, it's like all this stuff happens, and I don't know
why, it seemed rather paranormal.
Those balloons, yeah, yeah, yeah, right, and you know, helium balloons, and those things
can be freaky anyway, like if they're running out of air and all that kind of stuff, they'll
do that thing where they float across the floor kind of thing, yeah, yeah, I mean, that's
kind of freaky.
The other part of a story about sitting down and almost reading a story or a book about
like demons, like the 13 scariest demons or something, I don't think I would go anywhere
near.
God, no, no.
And he was talking about that, and I don't know why, it was something when I was a kid,
I read that, if you ever say these names out loud, you will be possessed and taken over
by a demon, and that has never left me.
You know, I think we still practice that on this show, like even when people name shit
and their letters, I don't say, I don't say it all out, yeah, I don't call recently
where somebody was like, and then the demon name blah, blah, blah, I'm like, I do not
even want to hear this, yeah, I took it out, I took it out, I don't know what it is.
So he is reading a book like that or reading an article or something.
Something like that, yeah, I'm thin as, yeah, that's not right.
And you know, you could think, oh, maybe you're overreacting, but the way he described
it was, that was like, this evil came over him, like the horrific feeling.
He could chew, he could chew, better hide what belongs to you, tiny paws and windows,
but those teacher crimson walls, yeah, he could chew, doggy, he's fucking crazy,
it's gonna eat you in your sleep tonight, snubble, clasper, tending, sweet,
better reach it, throw it out under moonlight, he could chew, he could chew,
it's watching while you're dreaming, fucking history.
And with my head, I'm already thinking of the choreographer, exactly, number,
everything in the cast comes out for that song, a lot of jazz hands going on.
Oh my God, big, there's a lot, there's a lot, there's a lot, there's a lot there.
I bet they never thought if they're listening to this show, they're like, I'm just going
to share my ghost right, it wasn't expecting to create a whole broadway production
of my surprise.
You never know what the fuck you're going to get when you send shit over here.
Thank you for sharing that with us.
