The Fool-Card 0
Greetings, lovely listeners. Let's dive in to exploring the major arcana in the
tarot. We begin with the first card of the major arcana, the full card zero. The
major arcana is also called the fool's journey and it's no wonder why because
the first card is the fool and he kind of kicks us off. It is a boy on the card
but you know the fool is everyone here on earth embarking on this thing called life
and growing and learning. It's a guy. It's a girl. It's you. It's me. We are all the fool at one point
in our lives. The fool represents not necessarily us starting out our journey here on earth
in the beginning only, right? It is, of course. But we can be the fool at any time in our lives,
just like any card in the tarot. We can pick one and it can bring the illumination and insight
into where we are at in our journey. Our journey is ever shifting. We are ever shifting
which player we are in the major arcana or which card. But there is a syntax to the fool's journey.
It does tell a story. We can be any card in the fool's journey at any point in our lives.
But we're going to go through the syntax of the numbers and the actual fool's journey,
how writer wait wrote the stack. So we start with the fool. Card zero. Zero is infinite. It never
stops symbolizes the infinite journeys we are always embarking on in life, right? The card
has a beautiful golden background. Yellow gold in tarot is always about joy and happiness
intellect enlightenment. It can be about new beginnings and the growth that comes with it.
And that really hits the nail on the head with the fool. The fool is a person who is starting a new
journey. It's like the peace, the peace right before the start line on a game of candy land.
Okay, that's where we're at. We don't know sometimes the journey is beginning.
The fool looks up and away from the path he is walking. If you were to look down,
he'd see he's walking off a cliff. This speaks volumes. It is about how he has no idea what he's
getting into. It may be dangerous. It may not. But he's going to embrace the the journey.
He is going to learn. He doesn't know it. There's jagged mountains behind him. They are
capped with white, which matches the color of the sun, the divine. And it's about learning and
growth in this rigorous journey he's about to take. But he's oblivious to it, you see. He's
looking up high to the heavens and he's going for it. He just trusts. You know, it's really about
taking a leap of faith. The fool card is. And with that comes the naivety of not knowing what
that entails. And that's what the fool is. What I love is that it's a card about trust the journey.
Take the leap of faith. There is an innocence to this not knowing. And it's beautiful.
He has a wand on his shoulder that carries a nap sack. Wands mean movement action.
Just just movement. And the the fool is doing it. He's going on the journey.
He wears a beautiful cloak over a white undergarment. The white that matches the cap of the
mountains and the sun and actually the dog companion by him. It means innocence. Embracing
starting out at a point where you don't know much and taking a journey to learn much about it.
Whatever that journey is going to bring you. And the cloak that is over his white undergarment,
this I think is what I love the most. It is a cloak full of yellow expression and illumination
with red mixed in like these little flowers. Red is passion, growth, fire, movement.
And it is immersed on a cloak with green. That is healing. It's comfort. It's grounding.
Green is roots. It's discovering who you are. And blending all that yellow and red,
the expression, the passion, the figuring out with it. I love it. It is a card about transformation,
but the transformation hasn't happened yet. It's a card acknowledging your starting point
who you are. And being open, no matter what the journey brings you to learning something new,
transformation because you will not be the same person that you are when you're on that cliff
as the fool about to step into the unknown. You will not be that person anymore when you finish
up your journey. The fool is very trusting in whatever needs to happen, happens. This is a let go
of control card. This is embrace what you can't control. It is about trust in the
evolved, trusting in the involvement and that you're going to be taking care of and spirit's
going to carry you along the way of this journey. It is an open heart. It is purity. And some say
the white dog, which is representative of purity, spirit's source, is the only companion we
ever need. And that the fool learns or will learn to put his trust in all he needs is his intuition
and to listen to spirit, which I love. To wrap up the fool, I would say it is a card that represents
a new beginning having faith and trust in that spirit's guiding you there. You're going to go
on an adventure and you're going to have some rocky times, but you're going to grow and you're going
to be even more strong for it. You don't need much just the inner journey. That's what it's all
about always. This is the card of the fool and it is a great card. If you pull it for a client,
as I always tell my students, be positive with the clients, right? If you pull the fool card for
your clients, be excited for them because they're about to embark on a new journey. Can be with
the physical world, can be with the internal world. But the most important thing is that it's
happening and they just need to trust that it's going to make them even more evolved internally,
externally, the mind, the soul. Then they were before and that they can navigate when they keep
their intuition and spirit and that connection, those little nuggles, niggles that we get
inside when they listen to them and keep those close. It's a very exciting card. It's also a card
about not taking it too seriously, just letting the waves carry you through this new adventure,
don't resist because it's happening and to enjoy the right of the growth. Very lovely card
it's never ending. We're always starting new journeys. It's a card zero. It is before it's
just acknowledging it's happening. All right. And tomorrow we dive into the magician. Until next
time, listen. There's bye-bye.
