Hi, I'm Johnny Erickson Tata, and if you're on Facebook, you've probably come across the story of Sam, the dancing barista. Sam is a 17-year-old who works as a barista at his local Starbucks. Because of his autism, Sam is constantly moving, dancing popping, shifting his weight. Some view it as a weakness, but at work, Sam's dancing helps him focus. While making a latte, this young man moves this way and that, dancing to the music, and customers, they love it, and at Sam's dancing, that is his need to be in a constant movement, which has made him a social media sensation. In 2 Corinthians chapter 12, the Lord says, My power works best in weakness. What might seem like a weakness? Sam is using to show the world that people with autism can hold a job, and it is a great reminder for you and me. Whatever your weakness friend, remember, God can use it to reveal his strength in you.
