Is it starting to look good for Rangers ahead of the big match? Martin and Neil as admitted Celtic can't do without Camilo Duran as they prepare for Ibrox on Sunday with no fans. So that's what we're going to be talking about. Quarterfinals, sorry about that, got unusual for media. Make that blunder slowly on in the programme but there's more blunders on the way. I'm almost certain. Roppy. Yes. Congratulations. You hear cut. Fantastic. Yes, yes I've decided. As you know Robin, who we go to for our haircut likes to have a redesign up to date sort of a... Can you share this off you? Really? Minutes. More than a minute. I think I was talking to him too much because he was short. He was, he was gunmanal. It was a bit short, isn't it? Yes, yeah, but... I'll grow. I think he's going to be able to get four of five fours left. Is that Ibrox left? He? Four of five haircut's left. Well, he's got one of those little cards where he's only getting four of five spaces right and he just...

2:07I did the first thing I said to him was any chance he getting three or four different colours in my head like Tom? Which is... We will talk football in mid-week games, some of the mistakes that were made, the performances and then look ahead to the quarterfinals. Four games with a lot of stake for all the teams. First and foremost, on this day of all days, I think it's only right and proper to remember all the people who lost their lives in 9-11. 25 years ago, I remember it very vividly because I was working for STB at the time we were getting ready on that morning for Champions League match, which was Celtic taking on Rosenberg and then with the awful events that unfolded, UEFA as a mark of respect, all the people who lost their lives across America. They postponed all those matches as a mark of respect and it was the right and proper thing to do.

3:08I think it affected everybody. I'll now forget that day. So many people in the truck just getting ready to prepare for that Champions League match just absolutely be bolder than shattered that the people who lost their lives. So I think, you know, right across the globe, so many people will be remembering 9-11 with great sadness. To football and in midweek, there were two games in the Scottish Premiership. Ringer's in the end, Natalie, won it by a goal to know, which is ideal preparation, I think, for their home match against Celtic and the quarterfinals of the Premier Sports Cup. Derek McKinnis has mentioned, he thinks that he can see in the dressing room now, you know, that spirit building. Yeah, I think you would do, you know, obviously, scoring a goal is a light on in the game. Everybody's been high coming in at the dressing room. It'd been interesting to see if he hadn't scored that goal. If he were coming out at the same statement, I don't think he would be. There was, again, you know, from the crowd, the spectators anxiety, you know, you could feel the murmurs.

4:10I can see why he's now coming out saying that the spectators are a big players in this game at the weekend. He's trying to get them right behind the team. And I think he needs that because if I would believe if Celtic were to go in front of that game, there might be a reaction that some of the players can't handle. So I think it's very, very important to get a positive start to that game and that doesn't harm. Well, if there's one man who's delighted at the outcome of that game, is Bojan Mioski because suddenly he's put himself at the forefront of Derek's mind. Incredible, you know what? We were talking about potential guys that can step in and fill the void for Shaanling, Chermetti. I've always thought Mioski is a finisher. He's got the service and he will finish. He likes to bend his runs. He likes a different kind of service. But the man from nowhere, I went and Derek's talking about dressing him chemistry and the team coming together. But Iron-S is the one guy who has furthest out the door. Comes in and scores a goal which could be, again, a turning point because the whole narrative would have changed. Had he not scored?

5:10Yeah, I thought he took his goal well, Tom. It was just, you know, wasn't easy. No, it wasn't. It just shows you football can be a simple game at times. It was a goal keeping lunch up the part. Nadeera jumps, wins a great header, flicks it on. And then he goes through and lobs the goalie. That is, I mean, that's what he's good at, isn't it? That's what he's good at. And it's, you know, that was a throwback to, you know, 20-30 years ago, or, I mean, I'm going to mix it up partly. And that's all we've done. We've launched it to his, he had an awful lot of goals out of it. So, yeah, you can play all the pretty football you want, but sometimes needs must. And that's what happens. Rangers get the victory at the end. First half, I watched the game first half. I thought they should have been two or three up easily. I thought they were excellent. First half, second half, first month. I had two or three brewing chances to go ahead, but it's a brewing result for Rangers. The camera flicks a lot. Derek should be careful, but he's, he's preempting things about things coming together because he's... Why can't you rally your trips? Well, he can. And he needs to be for a massive game. But sometimes the style's aligned. And they are just now because people that I know that were at the game

6:12weren't convinced by them again. There's a certain skill I thought that's a man get had done by. They should have had a penalty kick in the first half. That said, they have won the game. My mental's with them. And sometimes, it's Derek probably knows about a memory. The style's just aligned for you. I think there's a general feeling in the S.A.P. that there was a mistake made in that match. And I'm sure you've had a penalty or a refugee agree with them? Yeah, agree with them. And unfortunately, that's maybe one, two, three in a row that we've seen in the last fortnight. Last season, we were hoping that we get sorted out obviously with the hearts carry on with a mother ball and everything, but it seems to be same excuses all the time. And I think the excuse for the Celtic one was the calmest never caught the ball. So high up. Yeah. Which sounds absolutely ridiculous. You know, that... Well, I've had every excuse. Yeah, I know. You know, there's an instant last season, if on the end of it, it was almost identical. But he steps on the toes. He gets away with that. It's twice or something. Remember that? I don't want to dissect everything.

7:12No, I'm just saying there's incidents right across the board that you look at and you think to yourself. I mean, the immediate thing is they didn't get their penalty. And there's an acknowledgement that they should have got a penalty. Not from this, not from in here. I'm talking about from the S.A.P. towards St. Mirren. But that doesn't do the many favors because at the end of the day, you know, you play to what eventually is decided and quite simply, Rangers were able to pop up late on and get the goal. I mean, I did find it funny. It's not a meme, it's just a video of Derek Contrari. I thought that was the eye. I thought, you cannot be conducting any of that. You know, Roy Orbison's very arcade to the troupes, you know. But listen, if you're at the end. If you're at the end. That's getting the stonch boys back on sides. Anyway, at least until Sunday. Those fans also watched at my end Dominate for most of the second half. They certainly dominated the ball. That has to be corrected, right? He can handle that. Well, well, why can't you have that?

8:13Wait a minute, wait a minute. Gordon, we've been, you know, crying out every season for teams to come and have a goal at Celtic and Rangers. And also to retain possession and try and save themselves. We're not going to part the bus. I was at MacDerm, but Park, I thought it was enjoyable. I breathed a fresh air. That would grind a watch. So St. Marin did the same against Celtic. You know, they had moments, you know, a good period where they dig right for the game. And again, against Rangers, I thought it's second half. There was a period where you think to yourself, they look as if they're going to get a goal. That was both ways because what it does is listen compliment. I said, Milen, team that came with that, Kenna Bravado and Brevery, they go and do that. But if you're engaging it against Rangers being dominated so heavily in that period. All I'm saying is, if I'm a Rangers manager, I'm watching that and I'm thinking they're still problems. Again, it's the same problems in the middle of the park. Where's the authority? I don't think, I don't know. You, I think the landscape has changed dramatically. I don't think there's a, I don't think there's an expectation when you think about Rangers teams.

9:19How long ago was it that a Rangers team actually played free-flowing football in Boston? Because I mean, I don't want anybody to come on and start giving me a date, Steven Gerrass team. Because they didn't, they actually got to a situation where they started instead of the draws and the defeats. They started grinding out 1-0 wins because they bolted the back door. Yeah, that doesn't mean you're at a Celtic Rangers. You just need one game. You know what you're getting with that, Kenna? He's proven the league for winning games. And whether it's five or one now, you're still getting three points. And I think the last five wins, Rangers have won by one goal. So you could say, oh, they're lucky, they're only winning by one goal. You could say, well, they're on a consistent run. The winning games aren't that winning habit. So I don't think that, I think it's a good result for Rangers. I think they just need to keep winning and let the new players gel into the system, into the club. And then you might get more better performances. But right at this moment in time, Derek McKinnis under pressure as he was after the European games, he just hit a win.

10:19And that's all they're doing at the minute of winning games. I'm pointing this out, method and outcome. Who would have thought that the last row of the days would be a long ball, a flick on for somebody that barely wins anything in the air. And then I finished for a guy who's been in Siberia for the last six months. Yeah, but can I ask you this, where are we with the football purists in life? I mean, when have we suddenly eliminated? Well, I love that goal. Not at all. But that's not a, that's not a, that wasn't worked out in the training ground. That was a hallelujah hillmary ball. Yeah, right. It was maybe not a hillmary. It's like a good job. It's like a good job, it's coming. No, but it wasn't that, wasn't you, you played in a team where Joe George made it together? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, it's times right at the end of the day, you'll take the goal two minutes, isn't it? The extra 90. But if you take that goal out of the equation, you'll go to listen to the other parts you're saying. There no winning games in 90 minutes quite easily. It's tender hooks for the 90 minutes, and that's why Derek is praying on 50,000 supporters getting right behind the team.

11:24Yes, the players will be confident they're coming in after that game, just winning the game. But I think the bottom line is we're not even able to give all the other teams a huge part in the back. The mother was that they're all taking on ranges and so on. There was 10,000. There's no, they're already going by the time they go. Yeah, possibly, but I'm saying to get back to... I've had powers up there. Yeah. You got it, congratulations. How many powers have you got that range of funds? You've got to congratulate some of the mother balls who are taking them on. I'll say this in numerous occasions, I knew I had a season ticket and they stopped going because every time he went it was four, nothing, five, nothing. Because it was boring. But now they're getting challenged, I think, as we're in for a right good season, because I think a lot of the teams, because the towel tell you, you just go to the Iberts, a park head, you go, this could be three or four, you know, I said, that's not the case now. These teams are now going to Iberts and are going to the park head and they're putting in a shift smell and blood. They're nearly getting a wee result, so that breeds confidence anytime you go back there.

12:25They're not going back there to get whipped five or six, nothing. Yeah, Patrick says, Percy's being realistic here. Rangers are not a good team no matter what Peter is saying. Celtic turned up, they wiped the floor with the monster. Patrick, I don't think anything that's come out of my mouth is said, Rangers are a good team. I think what you've got to do is you've got to try and listen to what the conversation is and we're talking about three or four weeks of, by the way, three or four weeks ago in this program, Derek needs to get wins. That's on. And then Derek gets wins. By the cell time. So, you know, that's all, and of course, the other thing which is realistic about it is quite simply, whether it's Derek McKinnes or whether it's Stephen Robinson or whether it's David Gray or indeed a Neil McCann, you've got to give him time. I hope it continues to get wins. I want Derek to bear. I think Derek is the right man. I think he's done exactly what he needed to do. Get the wins, bank the wins. But because he still analyse how they've got the wins and whether those progress getting made,

13:25some teams just have a knack through a certain period of things breaking for them. And that's his been the case. We're angels and it's bottom the time. Okay. So he's bought the time. We get the win one, Neil. I was up at McDermott Park and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the game because St Johnston played some lovely football. Now, that said, Ruffie. I did mention to Martin and he, is there a positive or is there a cause for concern? They had over 35 crosses into the box and eventually Hassan's cross, Mika Bauer puts it into the back of the net. But they were like a total of a tie-out at times. Yeah, and we've seen that in numerous occasions. If somebody doesn't step up, particularly the deranboy and scores the goal, you're looking about, well, who else is going to step up and get the goal? And that looked like the case. The worrying thing for me was that Johnson had a cup of clear-cut chances, you know, and could have got something out of that game. But again, Celtic got away with it all the night.

14:26I think the most chances probably deserve to win the game. But teams like Cee Johnson will be sent in a self-know-how if they come here again. Now, we're going to fancy taking something off them. And that should be the worrying. But for me, it's all about the team selection that Celtic for the weekend. I'm still not happy with the back four. Whoever the back four is, we'll have to wait and see who's fitting, who's not fit. So for me, team selection is going to be massive, as it usually is in these games. Well, with regard to team selection, I'll get to that in a minute. But apart from everything else, you know, just isolating the game, Bauer continues to, you know, really become a fans favourite. He's industrious, works about picks passes. Casper, who I think coming back from injury just needs... Just look as menacing as he did early on. And I'm not sure if there are plenty of strengths or that maybe Jaran has stolen his thunder. Martin did a load to it right away, said, you know, can we do it without...

15:27Can we load the run? The answer is no. Yeah, but I still think Casper, who will start and Sunday. I think he's a certain take start. Oh, yeah. I think he's a certain take start. I think you need somebody to hit in this game. Rangers are going to confline out the blocks in my opinion and get after-sell to it and going to press them. I'm going to hear it in behind, they're going to squeeze the game. And you need somebody to hit to get an outball. So I think Casper, who will play, I think, is that... This is Fesil, going to left hand side. Jaran, no. Jaran, Jaran, I'm going to left hand side. And I think, Hassan, I'm in the right hand side, and I think you're going to play behind them. I think that'll be a fun four. But I think Casper, who will definitely play, because you have to hit, you have to have someone hit. I don't think he looks particularly sharp at them in it. But I think he'll definitely play at the weekend. You agree with that? 100%. You've got to switch to a big personal. It's a bit like a quote with it. It's a bit like a quote with it. I think that formation, it's not about spawn. Is that it? But I would think, well, to connect,

16:27a me at times, they isolate the fillback, they didn't go out. Yeah. I said addition, I said it's time to do it. It doesn't even shoot. It doesn't shoot, Ruffie. No, it cuts him against... It gets the way he should be. And then you know what he's going to do. It's not going to do anything different. And if you allow him, he can finish as he's shown. But I don't think he's a starter. No one knows. It's game still right. It's time to show back. It's just to go, it's just to go back the way, and then rolls it back to skills. To deliver the ball in the box. Well, I wonder if we're talking about background team and you're talking about praising the likes of Mark Fathering, I'm sure, Maloney. I wonder how much work is done consistently with professional footballers to try and make them better footballers to say, by the way, you need an end product. Because countless times the ball is going into the box and I'm watching and I'm thinking of myself, apart from great credit to St. Johnston, they defended well, but when the ball was into dangerous areas,

17:27there wasn't anybody there to take advantage of it. And it'll bring me nicely to the predicament of the goalkeeper off of it because I'm already hearing people saying, no, Sam Johnston will be in from the start. Somebody who's shout isn't it? Not a kick in the teeth to see the sorrow of it. Yeah, but there has been wee signs here and there. You don't know what's happening behind the scenes. I think the goalkeeping coach might have something to do with it. Maybe you can see something in training. You know, it's something like we times like that. It might be just a pressure. You know, having a performance. You save it from the ball comes in. It's just top draw. It's top draw. It's point. It's a massive shout. You know, to throw him into this game, I know he's experienced. He's 33 and he's played in a lot of big games in that. And they'll again identify during the goalkeeping coach and whether he's up for it. He looks a big confident guy. It looks as if he can deal with it. That means to be seen. But you're right. From the other boy, he must be sent himself well, you know, as my time out here.

18:27Everybody say, yeah, psychologically, who's in the up? No. You think you'll play? I think you will. Sam Johnson. Yeah. No, I don't think so. I think, you know, I think I said I broke. Yeah, and let's Martin and Neil's piled on my side and say, look, this is the reason why we're playing this guy. It's nothing to do with your form. It's nothing to do with this. You'll be the man. He's told him you're the man. Because if he hasn't he told him that he's going to be playing for that game during the week up until Sunday, he's going to be a bag of nerves. Wondon, whether he's playing on no playing. Well, the other thing I'm going to drop some assalam. It has done the other thing. I know, but he's done. I don't think he's a big big rest. He's a big big rest. I know the boy Johnson's a big rest. I'm a goalkeeper. I want to play against Johnson. I don't want to be a left-wing player. I know, but I think he's rest if you, and I think he'll... It's a big game for him to throw in. Look at him, Andrews. Don't buy into it. Don't buy into it because you know, when you look at big games in the past, you throw in Andrews and Ibrose Wanderer.

19:27In 1989, you're talking about an experienced manager who had a chance to look at two goalkeepers. Hold on. Hold on. It was set the facts before you start blundering your way through the answer. I bet a defancy. You know, it turns out a goalkeeper... Legend, it turned around and said, look, it's a big game. Celtic are playing at Ibrox against a really talented ranger side. And you've got two choices. You've got Ian Andrews or Alan Roth, three world cups. All our experience, a chance to come to the nerves of a really dodgy back four. And what does he do? He doesn't even stand up or even say to the manager, look, Billy, I've had all this experience. You can't put him in. What he thinks to himself is, oh, Mark Walters and this ranger team will destroy me. I'm not going to play. And then what happens? Celtic get pumped five-one. I played the... You know, I played in the reserve game in the morning. Yeah. I was pretty happy with that. Unfortunately. Over you, Ian. Over you, son. Unfortunately. Yeah. I was in the hospital when the game was on because I brought my cheekbone in the last ten minutes of the game.

20:27You got a moral mark. I was a few. And here's another one. I wouldn't have blamed Ian Andrews for the majority of the goals. They five goals. I'm telling you, I was in it. Did you get a chance to see him again? There is not a... A... Blunder. A... A... A... A... A... A... A... A... A... In the game, Robbie. Five-one. Yeah. There's two five-ones. I was in the game. No, no. I think that was... Let me get it in YouTube for you. You think that's enough? No. No. I think what's going on at goal? One of the viewers can... Yeah. Tell us if, uh, you all can score the knee in Andrews game, the volley. Yeah. But I think it's onlyぐo Вылак… No, I'm going to go and get it right now. If you want to think how goalkeeper will feel about getting left out before a Celtic Ranger's game? He's the man. I want to play in that game, I want to have a couple of good saves, I want to go into that Rangers game, high confidence, not knowing that unless again Martin said a word about me,

21:27he said, if he hasn't had a word about me, he's going to be saying, well, manage it, doesn't he fancy me? Yeah. Was that not a game? Yeah, I was seeing Andrews. I don't know, I can't see. That was a belt of a goal anyway, but you should have been in goal, simple as that. Well, I would agree with you, I wouldn't have bothered me 50,000, you know, but who's to say, wouldn't have been the same outcome, that's in the past now, it's gone. Anyway, the one thing I would say to you is that Tineck can't get the ball into the boxing cross, equally so Hassan had more than a few chances, but there's something menacing about him. He's going to change that. I think he's a good player, I just don't think he's been fit enough, as I said, in the show there are days, he went in the world cup, he didn't do a preseason, he was over, there was a lot of rumors about him, he's came in at Celtic and I'd spoke to a couple of people who know it Celtic and he was miles off it and he went through a vigorous fitness campaign before he even got on the pitch for Celtic, so I think he's getting his legs now, he's getting 45 minutes, 67 minutes, I think he's pissed, I think he's so quick, he can just...

22:34That's the difference between you and Tineck. He's got paste, Tineck, he hasn't, he's got a weed rubble and a weed drawback, never done, but this boy's got paste and if he asks any defender they don't like people running at him with paste. OK, Ranger 6 to 4, Celtic 6 to 4, the draw 5 to 2, is it going beyond that? I will be a draw 90 minutes and I'll go beyond that. Home advantage, the wins are blowing in favour for Rangers at the moment and I believe we'll do again in Sunday. Tineck? I think Celtic 1, simply because I think Celtic and every department are better than Rangers at the minute, I think Celtic have got better quality in the final third, I think defensively, I don't think either, more great in middle of the part, I think Celtic are better than Rangers, so I think taking away the crowds... You can't do that? I know, but Celtic have a good record there at Ibrox, I'll go for Celtic or whatever. Would you go for Celtic if I told you that, well, I don't know who the goalkeeper is going

23:34to be, the back four is going to be Donovan, the young boy, it was played against the Johnson. Donovan, Cardamon A, Custay and Scales. I think I was a RSTT splint. You say it was that four? No, but it's not. You don't know that. No, but what you are doing, what I would call a classic, you can even say, there was an X4 games. Oh, I'm just saying that that was a team that Cardamon A, Custay, was going to be his confident Celtic win... One of them. Carter Vickers. Scales and Terny? Jiggett Scales. I think Scales will play. Yeah, okay. I've talked to you. If that... You guarantee me that's the back four of Celtic or day. Celtic or day? I think that back four can be got that. Well, we've seen that, they can be got that. So, I think they'll target Donovan. I think Gisama will get a license to go out and I think there's problems. How about you seeing the difference to the crowd? Massive. Inhorneous. Especially, you get so many players that haven't sampled this before. I know a lot of people that's a cliche, they haven't been in earbuds, how are they going to cope with it. But, Celtic have got a lot of players that have never been there.

24:37That can be a hard place to play. So, if Rangers start well, is there have been doing in recent games? And if you do that, if they don't... I see the starter games, if the camera's going to the tunnel and the teams are ready to come out, you can look at individuals and it's how they are going to handle when you get on that part. Yeah. But, I mean, I've never played a club level and never played in front of 50, 60,000 in my game. So, you know, you're excited about going to Parkhead. The reason I'm going to be big crowds is that Scotland England games aren't a thousand. You look at the England team, don't I swear to them, they tell it, but you can tell what they can hear it there is a hundred thousand Scotland supporters, there's a fear. This is not who they play for, Liverpool or whatever. You've got to deal with it when you get there and it's the people who can deal with it at the weekend or the ones that are going to win. Even you were at Ibrook's in your Santa's dressing room two minutes before you were supposed to go out. Did you see the coloured rain for your faces? Absolutely. Yeah, absolutely. And that's... I think I swam and you're right. I think the first 15-20 minutes were never.

25:39I went to Parkhead or Ibrook's first 15-20 minutes was crucial because the fans were right up for it. If you lost an early goal, but at the flip side of that, if you went ahead, are you 20-30 minutes before you were able to play the game? Particularly, Ibrook's out, I was thought, then you start to hear the monson groans, then you start to see the rain. The flip side of that, rain just because some of them start to hide and don't want the ball. That's why you groan confidence. That's why Derek's come out and said the support. Yes, he knows the support. That's why he knows it's fair to grow one up. Then it is still get behind the team. Well, that's what he's doing it. That's why he's a bit of PR out there. Yeah. And by the way, listen, I really want to put things in perspective. I had a game like this and in previous games. There is a lot of madness from certain supporters. You just have to get a grip. The Celtic players have been spoken to by the police. The police will undoubtedly have spoken to their Rangers players as well about the behavior, about the need to conduct themselves properly. Certainly, Martin, I know, mentioned he doesn't want any punch ups or anything that can be inflammatory.

26:43So, Mark Simpson, Mark, you need to calm your jets. It's only a game of football. It's not life or death. It's just a game of football. And let's see if Peter calls out the Rangers manager for clapping his hand and fist pumping to Penny Arcade. It's a Roy Orbison 1950s or 60s song for God's sake. Give his peace. I mean, at the end of the day, it's just a game. If the managers want to rally the troops, I can't quite see Martin, Martin, Martin, Lee, although, you know, if it's Neil Lennon, there's a helicopter, you name it, he's doing it all. Some managers like the noise up, some managers like to try and get anything. I'm sure the press have been going to say that. This game has been sterilised already. It's been put through the ringer. How much more do you have to take emotionally at a game that should be absolutely correct? Well, can I say some parts? I'm glad you pointed that out because I've written at the top of my notes here.

27:43Thug culture has killed this fixture for a good. There is no way back for it now in the next decade because both clubs have allowed, basically, at one point, one club allowed fans who weren't really happy that there were 7,000 Celtic fans in there. And by the way, Rangers fans, Rangers football clubs, absolutely entitled to say, we want more seating tickets for our fans, they're playing on you go. Then, once the Celtic fans were out the allocation was cut, you've got a situation where behaviour from Thug's, from Balaclava wearing Loonies, has totally and utterly killed the game. The game is gone as far as a spectacle's concerned. You have a full year now coming up, partially, where there's no away fans. That's brilliant. Absolutely. And the anticipation of a game like this, I know it's going back to back, which is great because I love the fact that there's going to be things carrying over to the next game.

28:43But if you're totally honest about it, the way it used to be when you looked forward to it, is no way on the newer it is now. It's been so, the heat's been taken out of it so much that it's lost that exactly what it should be all be about. Color, emotion, rivalry, proper, decent rivalry. It's not decent. There is great elements of rivalry. Yes. There can be, there can be great honest rivalry. All my powers going to the pub, some of them Celtic fans, some of them Rangers fans. Have a bit of humour about it. Yeah. Understand that it miles. Absolutely. Listen, you know, you've got Alan McCoy's new learning sometimes on the after-dinner circuit, you know, looking back on it with laughter, because you get caught up in the emotion of it, you get caught up in it. I mean, some Rangers games against Celtic, Celtic games against Rangers, suddenly, you know, provoke a government inquiry. Sometimes they're arrested and then taken to court. No. I mean, it just shows you in...

29:43Goldilocks and three bills. Well, in that, just Britain. That's where it was all about. Just let's make an example of the Politaries. And he has another thing I have to just quickly point out. I've got a colleague that goes to the game. We'll be at the game in Sunday. And see if there is an unfilled bust up on a flare-up in the pub. He's the first to get out of your seat and enjoy watching that kind of spectacle. Right? It should be passionate. It should be hard for... It should spell over. Because what we've got now is... ...underterracing on the stands... ...a kind of... ...get it back on the pitch. It can still exist there. Yeah, absolutely. You do get it. I mean, I have no qualms about people, you know, enjoying the game, love the noise up. You can go to a game and have a noise up and have a... ...you know, you get angry about things as long as you're not abusive. I mean, roughly at MacDermott Park of all places, there's a great support from St. Johnson's three stands with the Celtic supporters mobbed. But they've moved the press box now.

30:43So the press box is now out in the front because they've changed the old press box into a hospitality suite. So we were in this new area. And I sat down at that press area at Tom and sat down in front of the only two guys... ...who were built like American wide receivers. And they obviously looked as if they could be villains in a bon movie. And they stood for the entire game. You stood for the entire game. Just kept the tell me, Shitdon. How was he going to tell them? You know, and they clapped and they made gestures to the Celtic fans non-stop. I couldn't stop them because they were... ...ruffied they were easily in their late 40s. And the two of them were standing up there looking rather menacing and hum. But they weren't doing anybody any harm. They were gesturing, you know, if you're offended by gestures, you know. Have a word with yourself. There is an element of the Ranger Celtic game that is a great noise up. Good banter. The beach balls are remembered with a smile on your face.

31:45And then, of course, I think maybe this season after it rangers fans... ...equally had a good noise up back at them. But the poison element is a bit... You remember two years ago, two to fifteen years ago, you used to go to the Iberac's Celtic platform for an old forum game. And two minutes before kick off, you could hear a thing. You couldn't hear a thing. It was absolutely frenzy. It was electric. You could feel that absolute emotion and passion because it went both ways. Now you've caught one of it off. It only goes one way. You have reduced it by more than 50%. It's 70%. You've taken away from it. It's 30%. 20% of that will be bigotry shouting in the rest of it. That's what we've got left now. Yeah, that's fiction. Okay. So both teams have won consecutive games. Four of them. That's the positive aspect of it. Celtic, I've just got one win. That penalty shootout in March in the cup. For it's been four draws in one defeat. So that suggests that Rangers, regardless of strength or strength.

32:46You know, they've got that home advantage. As far as the teams are concerned, I'll just read out potentially what's been suggested right across the social media at the moment. Rangers Panda, Sterling, Fernandez, Makanya, Penrice, Raskin Neil Buonani, Nadiri, Gisama and Miovski. Celtic, Johnston, Donovan. I think Carter, Vickers, Trustee, and Tierney's what's been suggested are Trustee in Scales. McGregor, Bauer, Hassan, Negrin, Durant, and who, any tweaks there along the way? I think Miovski will play. You don't think he'll play? No, I think he'll play Kevin Kelsey. I think he'll play. I think he'll play. And I think Miovski will come on. Ruffy? Yeah, I don't think he'll start my off-scale. I think we're already discussed the first 15-20 minutes. It's just going to be sort of up in the air and you know, everybody digging in and possession of the ball will be important. You know, I think the middle of the front and the two teams that you've read out there,

33:52I think I've got the best middle of the front. It's just defensively. I think there are teams now getting chances against that defense. Camen, because can't be 100%, because he's an all-lusting majority of games. So I think, I don't see stupid things on the day, how things happen. And I really do think of Celtic with score first, the win the game. Yeah. And you think Rangers, and you think Celtic? That's Celtic on it. Okay. Give us your opinion on it. We'd love to know what you think and maybe justify that opinion and give us a little insight into what you think. Regarding the way the game is going to pan out, home advantage. Of course, the way the teams are playing, how they approach it. Where the weaknesses are, who could be a potential match winner as well? Because I have pointed out, obviously, Miosk is 13-2, with some because Geran 11-2 to score the first goal. But difficult to say. I mean, you get 11-2 in the year. Who's the best financial at the club? Currently, currently able to go and play. Miosk is definitely, in my off-case, probably, if you look at it even with everybody fit.

34:53He's probably the second best. So, what, it might be a decision that Derek might sleep on? Because he is the best financial available. The Derry is not even in the same bracket. He might look at him as an impact striker, though, at Tams. I think you lost. We'll have to have fun now when you bring him on. Yeah. Interesting. Okay. Give us your thoughts on it. I'd like to know what everybody has on it. Sean, who at this moment is just painting a picture in my mind of still-game. Or chewing the fat. Very silly. Sitting in a room with a Celtic doofy. I think everybody tipped in less than anybody's going to say Steno's Murugan can't quite... That's your fancy Steno? No, I never said that. I said, it comes through. Yes, it's still there. It seems to be a rhetoric now, is they stopped believing Aberdeen. I just think the fans don't want to listen anymore apologies. And you see something delivered and something spectacularly better than what it's been. I think they're not a bad side at times, so I think they're capable of it. Yeah. See that paper that's just your feet there, Patrick. Can you give me it up with the pencil? The only reason I'm saying give me it up is because I was not throwing away. The only reason I'm doing that is because I was looking at it for chatting to Kenny. The Aberdeen fan yesterday and I was thinking about it, I looked at the record. Nine wins out of 19 games. Tail end of last season came in the march after the gym, the Tallinn long-winded debacle. And then from there he's now signed a significant number of players.

38:57And they're not bottom of the table. They'll get four points. So they managed to beat hearts. They got a draw in their game against... Kelly. So... I don't see... I don't see as crisis. I think the supporters would like the team to get to the semi-final as they usually do. And the past years have usually got that we jaunted down the Glasgow. You know and made a day of it. If it doesn't, they won't. They're not a great watch. Is that the driving force here? What are the Don Spansey expecting? They're expecting to be in semi-finals and finals because they're not going to win the league. That's the expectation that they've got and that's the expectation they've been living up to. Winning it and getting there. I just feel if he doesn't win it, that's not for me. It's not a sack of a rough hit. The unspoken truth. Stephen Robinson should never be in the picture at Aberdeeners Manager. Why not? Because we all know again, unspoken like the Alan Burroughs had run out of options.

39:58People were going to the game. There weren't be able to get a manager. Contact Book, who's the first number? Stephen Robinson does something well. He coaches teams well. He recruits to a certain level. Aberdeen fans well and having them. The perfect storm then occurs when he starts his season so badly. A lot of those wins you've got written down where against Queen of the South and each vice. This has been a blunder, a panic station recruit. He's put his down in my eyes as he's filled the team full of bottom-end pre-morship players for a commanding, lovey-ston, sit marrin. That's what you get. Now Aberdeen fans will not have it because they're not having him. They don't think he fits the mold. They're also not having the recruitment either. They've also got the director of football, which I can't see what he's achieved. What inference he's put on that club. And Aberdeen fans are not daft. I bet that Rangers fans are exhausted before we fail. OK, you've done a fair assault on him there.

41:00Why shouldn't a manager? Why shouldn't a chief executive or a chairman? It's not the first time and it certainly won't be the last. It's riddled the way through football. That chairman and chief executive's ruffian sometimes go to what they know. I see. Yeah, yeah, yeah. The mother-of-all situation is pants as I already said. Alan Burrows would have seen him as a coach, seen him what he's doing behind the scenes of seeing him on the park. You know, that's ticked a lot of boxes. As parts have said, it might be the wrong decision. But a year ago, before all these positions were filled like Aberdeen and hearts, he was the first name we all said. Why didn't you take a chance at him? Why are they going for a fun? Why are they not going for a tried and trusted and a league and blah, blah, blah. And they never done it. And then obviously Aberdeen did do it. And the results aren't going for him. I think he's got more to offer. But again, it's up to the players that are going to determine what it is. Aberdeen needy won games where they were playing.

42:00I'm seeing the same way of rangers. They're not playing a great style of football. But if they're winning, the fans will stomach it. Aberdeen are not playing a great style of football. But if they're winning games, the fans will go stomach it. If they're not winning, the game is going to be under pressure. Because of the style of the play. Yeah, mother was some men's teams like that the way they're playing. Stephen Robinson isn't allowed to be Stephen Robinson at Aberdeen. The Stephen Robinson at Motherwell that satisfied the motherwell fans. Different expectations, isn't it? So Stephen Robinson cannot be that motherwell, Stephen Robinson at Aberdeen. He's got to be something different. And offer something different? Or to be offering something different, it's in Ireland. More of the same, right? The recruitment was kind of similar. It was bot-maned England. He had a physical approach we've been facing in the wide areas. It organizes and coaches' teams really well. He's speaking to players that have been in the stress room. It's excellent at it. Where do you want to be going to? I'm not his defence lawyer. I'm playing devil's arabic. Where do you want them to go in the transfer market? Well, a director of football is getting paid a fair wait.

43:01We've got a chief executive with a good suspect to Alan Burrow. So we're all really like a lovely guy. It's probably in the wrong movie as well. Because Aberdeen, you need to be more contact-based. You need to have more breadth. Alan Burrow's a Scottish football game. Alan Burrow's hasn't got any contacts on England. Abroad. Do you want to say something? Alan Burrow's a safe player. I think you're using a pleasant guy. I think you're using an easy target about it. Because the point is here, none of us here on this couch. And I think a lot of people in Scottish football pundits and journalists across the whole gamut of our industry won't know the learning curve and the qualities and the professionalism that Alan Burrow's brings to Aberdeen. Question these professionals? The work, but the finance team will have the contacts abroad. Exactly. And this is I take your part. Where are they? Never the transfer window. Well, what has he been doing? Well, wait a minute. The other thing I was going to say to you is, nothing has been won and lost with Aberdeen here. You're talking about it as if it's red light spells danger and he's out the door.

44:01I've watched them. And I've watched them from now from week to week to week. Can what do you see? Alarm bells. Why is there alarm bells for him? But it was well over a year and a half with Teline. I wasn't a listener. I wasn't a listener. I wasn't a listener. Teline started extraordinary well. Yeah, he could've brought it on the top of the league first. In six months, he'd like to move to England. And I've top top club at that, right? But there was always a bit of a facade with him. But Stephen Robinson, you are getting what he brings. And Aberdeen, I don't think he's Stephen Robinson. You've got to win games with that style and play Aberdeen. So you think he's out? I think he's like, I'm out. I think this one thing, this silver lining is this cup. If Aberdeen are then dumped out of it, I think the fans, again, will tell them no more. And they've got. And they've got. And they've got. And they've got. And they've got. And they've got. And they've got. Are the club going to act on that, but the shovel will be there? No, for me.

45:01You know, I get it when you're saying you win in as all. You know, as I said, the Aberdeen supporters do demand. Excellence to demand to win things. Doesn't happen all the time. But I think the biggest problem for me is that Aberdeen is a club supporters, travel the longest, the fiddlest in numbers. You know, and that could go against you and all. You've got a big, big traveling supporter. You know, who pay the money, you know, they know how much it's costing. They travel, don't they, Glasgow? That can go against you as well if you're no winning games. But for me, I think he's a couple of wins away from it. It's far too early. It's far too early. It's for speaking about a side. Five league games. Six league games. I think it's for a post-reuth. I really do. I mean, at the end of the day, I understand fan behavior and, you know, unrest. But if Aberdeen's bored was to sack Stephen Robinson because they go through a run here. And he deserves to have a side where he wants to build it, the way he wants to build it. And we have to see how it, like Derek McKinsey's Rangers,

46:01we have to see how it evolves, how it links together, how it starts to play. Maybe they way he wants to play it. Not everybody starts like a steam train and gets the team playing they want to. So I, I for one. And he's not my mate. And I don't hang about with him. I live by a code that David Provin said to me many, many years ago, is there are no friends in football. It's just acquaintances. And that is it. We do a job. We do, we do a job where we meet people. Somewhere along the line you can form a, I don't know, an appreciation of what they do. Sometimes you do terms for people. But you have a question. You're not my friend. I'm telling you that right now for an absolute stone of coffee. What did your man say? What was his take on it? Is he having them? Yes. What is he based on that one? Well, I think Kenny, Kenny Merchant is one of a number of what I would call sensible dawns fans. Now, I'm not dismissing people who want to be sacked. I'm just saying he was balanced in his approach to it.

47:01I'm not preempting the interview with Kenny. I'm just saying he was balanced. And he's an experienced man who's looked at Aberdeen and watched them through good times in bad. And he's basically said, you gotta give him time. I'm not advocating for him. It's like, what I'm trying to do is try and put my finger in the air. Watch them and go, what I'm hearing, have they had enough? Do they have a break point? Have had enough? I'm just looking at the, they've played Celtic Rangers hearts. Don't be back to back. They've lost their D Celtic Rangers. You need to give the guy a chance. You need to give the guy a chance. Stephen Robinson, you need to give the game. You need to watch the game. He's brought so many players in. I know that last time, does he map? He won the game. He won the game. That's all that matters. But I think you need to give him a, at least to Christmas in January and then in January. And then I decided on it. Give him a bad time. Martin. Martin says, this is brilliant. I really love reading out some of them because it's some of our points. Because listen.

48:01Brian says, Peter, where was Park Seas rage when McKinis was falling when he first started at Rangers? Yeah, where was your rage then? Because you, you know, you're mate. So this next one is absolutely brilliant. It's Derek who says, Park Seas knows Robinson is not up to the task. He's smarter than the other lot on the panel. Thank you for that. There's another great argument there. There's no argument whatsoever. Derek who says, I'll meet you, Park Seas, in the pub tonight, half ten. There's another line which I think, I should have read out, which is absolutely priceless. But listen. There are so many Aberdeen fans who watch this program who have got our opinion on it. Something time to go. Some will think, you know, I have to say though, there was one here that did say, Peter, when Robinson gets a sack, he's your mate. He'll be on PLZ when he gets sacked. Element of Tristan now. Well, yeah. It's standard.

49:02Yeah, one more. Get him on. There's Stephen Robinson's seat right there. Anyway, listen, I love reading out these points of view. That's what it is. It's about a football. An equally soul. Let's look at Commandant Ruffie, the bottom of the league. I have been defensive in defensive Neil McCann because I've been to Kelly Games. I've actually got to games. There's only two of us here that actually regularly go to games. And we're sitting very close to each other. So Neil McCann, I can see what he's trying to do with his team, he can't bolt the back door, you lose goals. He ain't got lost 14 in the league. Yeah, Neil know that. He'll be training Monday 3D, try to sort it out. He'll be the same as Aberdeen, you know. They'll think, are we winning a semifinal trip, would cushion the blow away of the sit in the league? I don't think he's under any threat either. I think they just have to get in and bear it. They have, as you said, there have been games that they've been in it. You know, so again, it's waiting. See how they do.

50:02He'll want to go off the bottom of the league. He has, I mean, the commandant supporters are the same as every other supporter. They don't want to be sitting in the bottom of the league. And obviously when anything that comes that way at the end of the season, commandant can not afford to get into the championship. So that's when the pressure will hit in if you still layer long term. 64 for Kelly, 7 to 5 Aberdeen, 11 to 5, the draw. Damn, where are we going with this? Such a hard one, Nicole. Now, now, last week, I always think it's hard to play teams back to back because you get to know the players and systems quite quickly. I think this should go all the way to penalty kicks. And I'll go commandant penalties. One each. I've got Aberdeen and Sneakit 2-1. Come on, Mark. Smart up to you. I'm going to go Aberdeen to Sneakit 1-0 in an unbelievable dull game. And hopefully the two St. Johnston fans just turn up and block my view. Almost to the game. Because I don't see it being pretty. No, I don't think so. OK.

52:05This is an enormous game, perhaps. You know, they have to go up there and win. If they go up there and win, the next two games are at home, I think. It's maybe Camarline and Abelding at home. They'll be up on Trinity going on an early game and get himself more breathing space, but he's got to win this game. I think Hibbs are winning again. But David Grease seems as if it's inevitable at the minute that the chop is going to come. Does the chop come if he doesn't win this? Yes. If Ross County beat Hibbs, David Grease will get sucked in my opinion. Can I keep sucking managers' time? He can, but he's been in the job along with another two guys. And Hibbs need to go up there, Ross County. I'll leave one club in one. Ross County are playing well, Rothy. You're playing games, right? I'm playing Brian's Males Gordon every game this season. You just couldn't mention anybody with a particular song link? No, not at all. You're not like it. As you know, I like to mention friends and us, so. No, I think it's going to be a difficult... It's always a difficult place to go if you ask the Rangers themselves.

53:06They're going up to the Ross County. They always find it hard to sort of a tonne. Hold on, hold on. I've got to... Well, Derek, should we do Derek's out? Well, I've got to do Derek's out. Derek Harper, as you've said, Neil McCann is a better manager than Robinson. Look how well Kelly played late on last season. Robinson is a football terrorist. He should be tried and convicted for a trust. He's different football. Derek, come on, have a one-year self-for-god's sake. I mean, that's scaring to say the least. Sorry, Rothy. I'm sorry, I'm sorry. No, no, I told him. Half-githing him up, you know. No, I think... You know it's going to be a difficult game. We know it's a stadium where lots of people come in and they sit down. We've heard that from you. Is he getting psyched? If he loses, yeah. I think, unfortunately, as we speak about it every year, that heart's hub's gap has appeared. And not getting to a semi-final is just going to add to the troubles. And I think he's done particularly well. I think we'll all spoke about it. You know, the bonus points he's galloped through being a player and the manager and that.

54:08But I think at some stage, you lose it. The herstey best significant, nose knife for you to lose your job. Well, talk about managers like Neil McCann, Steven Robinson, the clubs of nose knife. David Gray is up and down. He has to find a degree of consistency. And I don't think Hibbs will get that appetite to let him go just yet. He's got a lot of things working on his favour. You said last week that it was an atmosphere almost of like... I don't think that the Hibbs supporters... You know what I'm saying? Now you get to set supporters. You go to the game and you just read people and you listen to people and you just think they've lost confidence in them. And they don't think he's a man. And no matter what he does now, they're just going to go whatever. So you go apathy about Hibbs at the minute. Speaking to the Hibbs fans regularly, and I know a lot of them. And when you're through, they are now there. They're actually at that point, Robbie, it's apathy. It's, you know, we're not sure if we're going to get even a draw.

55:10We're not sure when Hibbs will wake up in a match. You know, and the other thing about it, which you've got to be fair with. Every one of these managers, you've got to look and analyse their signings. And somewhere along the line, Malcolm McIan has come out and done an interview on Hibbs television in the last 24 hours talking about the signings. But they're going to have to look at the signings and say, which ones are good, which ones are failed? Is the manager not getting the best out of them? I think again, it's too early. I think they've got to stick by. Yeah, I think it is too early. But I mean, these cop games so early on in the season are very pivotal what can happen in the future. You know, if Hibbs were to lose it, we know what's going to come at the end of that. You know, there's going to be an outcry. I mean, Tom's saying, oh, he's got a couple of easy games after that. But this is a big one. I think they will win it. You know, it keeps you in a job. It's a place. It keeps you in a job where don't or get sacked. And Hibbs are too often going to the well with Martin Boyle, the one that's digging him out of the hole.

56:12Yeah. The problem you had is, you know, the top of the Kylenbau who was excellent. It sold them for about 6ml and they've replaced them with a young lad and won 5 stock. You know, and that is... They're lost on all that. That is when LV would have been a good deal. But in terms of a striker, as I've shoved golf between Nathan Lone and Kylenbau, at that end, in that top end of the pitch, and that's where Hibbs are lacking as well, in that goalscord department. They've really struggled to put teams away and score goals. Well, I have to tell you, I was regularly watching Hibbs, you know, and Kylenbau, he wasn't regularly. No, I know that. And I thought they did really well getting the money they did for him. He's moved on again. He's moved on again in another club and so on. I think that's right. Not taking them to America, also, to be fair. Yeah. Well, listen, are we going for... I'm going for Hibbs. Going for Hibbs to win, yeah, to now. Partly. Yep. Three on Hibbs. Yeah. Okay. It's a weekend of football that's hopefully you're going to enjoy.

57:13Thank you very much. There's so many of you for giving us some good last-day. Some of the banter on our platform has been really, really good. You know, it's a Saturday. I have had the infans, I just mown the bit. I've written the name of it. I just forgot about that comment. We've got that comment. Kaiser, say... From Aurora, Granite. Yeah, Aurora has a regular Aberdeen fan, and I welcome him on this programme for his opinions. He says, even the pies at Batoge have become dross. More rubber than meat. Aurora, I agree with you. I've noticed that. But he also said it's a bad day. I thought this was one that's Kaiser, who's a big Aberdeen fan. Since the sad day when the likes of Muddlewell is far superior to Aberdeen and Hibbs. You can see when you're talking about Aberdeen and Hibbs. Aberdeen and Hibbs, to an extent, at the moment, Killy, are that free. And then you've got Falkirk St. Johnston, Muddlewell, who are really playing good football. It's after you. You know, and St. Murren. And they're the ones I think that are going to derail Aberdeen and Hibbs chances of getting that sixth spot, maybe.

58:18You know, because they're playing good football, good to watch. My god, that tips in Johnston, you're down, Raffia. I may end up with Eagan, but I thought they played really well, though they're not there. Yeah, they played very well this season. You know, obviously, you're right. You know, when you looked at the team, you know, at the beginning of the season, they were all over the place. New signings coming in, lost a couple of players. But the conference again, they are. And the confidence I've just gotten beat by Celtic 1-0 will give them. I did confidence for the games ahead. It's got the goal with the boy Foulers. It's got the goal for Queensborough last season and is there. And he tons fun, and he drove, and he finished this and it's up common. I spoke to him, and I said, I'm a ship manager. But we can, and I said, by the way, the boy Foulers. It Queensborough. I don't know his level, but he's got a lot of them. It's got the goal that was just top notch. And the quarter got back, was we've looked at them. He stats are terrible. So that's Shatters' stat, I think. Because he's got as a boy that's going to score a few goals I see. Yeah. So everybody's got an opinion. Jimbo says Peter's noticing the quality of the pie is no surprise there.
