Hi, I'm Johnny Yerkes and Tata, and I love where Proverbs chapter 12 says, the tongue of the wise brings healing. Isn't that amazing how powerful our words can be? I mean, when God created the world, He spoke, and it happened. When Jesus walked on earth, He spoke, and the lame leap for joy. When Peter preached His first sermon, thousands came into the kingdom in one day. The powerful things happen when we speak. With just the slightest inflection, we can wound or create distance, but at the same time, our words can also lead people out of a pit of despondency. The words we choose, either nudge people closer to God or drive them away from Him. So today, ask God to show you ways you can speak words of healing and holiness into the lives of others. Most of all, pray that God will help you to think. I mean, think wisely before you say anything to others or to the Lord.
