President Trump has given a speech at the uh uh uh what was it? Are there any terms that make your own convention that they're having? Trump a paulusa. Yeah so he's up for a given a speech and he makes the announcement about the $5,000. There's two ideas. You have to call out a bad idea and you have to call out a good idea. I believe this is a horrible idea and i'll tell you why i think that is. Go for it. I can make this promise to you and here is my promise if the Republicans win the House of Representatives and the United States Senate, both of them, because of our economic tremendous economic success like in history we've never had anything like what's happening but because of our tremendous strength and success economically i will issue a dividend to every adult citizen in the United States of America for $5,000. And by the way can you pause it? You know who who disagrees with him on this?
Is he still speaking about the $5,000? Is he going to say other things or no? In the back okay so keep keep it there. So you know who else disagrees with him on this Vinnie? A man if you want to pull up the tweet i just sent you who said this i'll give you the dates on October 30th of 2012. It's a tweet that didn't perform that well and here's back then he wasn't as famous as he is today if you want to go to the tweet i just sent you guys before he was banned on 2012 this is 14 years ago he was not a president. He said don't let Obama buy the election by handing out unlimited free money to states. So you can't do that for a couple of different reasons why you can't do that. I'll give my opinion and I'm sure the Maga crowd you're gonna be okay you gotta be kidding me and I'll tell you why you can't do that. You ever like when you hear stories about Vanderbilt and the amount of money Vanderbilt created i don't know how many kids he had if you can pull up how many kids he had he had eight to 12 kids he had a lot of kids
and within second generation all his wealth Vinnie was gone okay all his wealth was gone. Can you type how many kids this guy had? I don't know how many kids yet but he had a lot of kids okay Vanderbilt. I've been how many 13 children right there. I think Anderson New Year's Vanderbilt. Yeah he is. They had 13 kids 13 kids but what ended up happening is he made decisions when he came down to wealth with himself that benefited him but it didn't benefit his kids. Do you know by what generation the money was gone? Three generations. Gone. This is the richest at the world. Can you type in at the time how rich was I mean he was right there with Rockefeller how rich was Vanderbilt at the time. How rich was yeah that times money what would it translate to worth billions today. That was a couple hundred billion dollars today right. So what's the point we can say five thousand dollars to win an election the Democrats in four years if they win or ten years or fifteen years can say fifty thousand
dollars a hundred thousand dollars then what do you do then then what do you do if they say I want to give you a hundred thousand dollar in duty I'm going to give you a half a million dollar in duty you cannot buy elections this way Tom made a very good point yesterday when he said it's similar to what the Democrats tried to do with the free college tuition right hey what if we get the free college tuition what if we do this you're playing with fire I understand the only reason somebody goes to this level of saying five thousand dollars guess what's the only reason that's very it's a hell marry attempt it's because we can look the the way the spangots up and how confident they can be a fire going on they can be bombing going on here they can be shooting going on there the guy is like a cucumber stays right here but the only reason he says five thousand dollars is there's worry what's going to happen with midterms my opinion to see do you agree or disagree yes so I mean firstly you're giving a rational logical response economically there's politics in both this is the problem so I do not encourage this sort of practice in politics that Trump is doing because that's what the left does in a promising things but the Maga crowd will tell you and I spoke
to a few in South Florida who are involved with GOP and they would defend it the same way I would say again I'm not encouraging it the reason that the Democrats keep losing the Trump is because they take him literally but not seriously but his supporters take him seriously but not literally so they know the crowd who are there and cheering deep down they know that okay he said something nice but I don't really expect that five thousand so he's not going to deliver it and they're going to be fine but that's not a good thing it's not good for the rest of the country in the future of politics and but it's it's it's it's it's grabbing that I know what I'm going to do if I'm a Democrat in two years do that I'm double it I'm going to play the video I'm going to spend 10 million dollars on ads on that video and saying hey your hero said this now what are you going to do go ahead yeah and then when Trump is gone let's just say in 15 years 20 years he's no longer here and everybody keeps recording Trump that's the Democrats are going to play the clips so you you cannot be thinking for term yes I think the problem like I had a challenge with the guy that runs Florida GOP and the way that they didn't do a Republican debate with couple the other guys I till today I'm getting
invited to fundraise I'm like I'm not attending I'm I want to have nothing to do with this you guys go ahead I'll support the Republican ticket but I'm not going to go defend and and say all the stuff out there because I don't think that's the right strategy long term that's my problem with the TUC yeah nothing more than that I understand what the guys are going to say you can't give a hand out like this to the Democrats you can't Tom what do you say I'm completely with you when you do things like this to literally we all they all promise things we're going to do this if I get elected I'm going to do that getting elected as a series of promises and boogie men you have to create an enemy and a boogie man you know you know bad orange man and everything that goes with it the Dems you have to create this this this cardboard boogie man and you have to go through things at it on one hand and the other hand they have to promise so it's boogie man and candy if you think of it that way right boogie man and candy and I just you cannot do this because of the president we've covered this very very well you were very articulate on it my concern was I've seen it before
I was beer I was not voting age but I remember in George McGovern promised a hundred dollars to every American this goes back to the time of Nixon before Watergate I remember that and I remember my dad saying said you know my dad used to say hogwash oh this is hogwash or he would say it's a load of crap you know and it was it was just as terrible back then just trying at the last possible minute to see if it's somehow some way you could sway people for a one-time thing you know you know when you make promises about money when you make promises about money it's it's like Reagan if I'm elected I'm going to permanently take the capital gains down because you've worked hard for that money it should be taxed differently and we want to make that permanent change now everybody looks at it goes wow okay so I build a business Adam I'm with your friends and some real estate Miami and if I sell it it's capital gains I was taxed once on the capital I did something with it and do it again that's where it is Pat you those are the promises you make I will permanently close the border I will change the capital gains rate yeah those are the promises that increase the
quality of life and that help people these are bribes oh good look uh printing money bribing people more debt what could go wrong I mean did we learn not learn anything from the Biden Stimichex from the $1,700 a person remember I went down to Miami and I interviewed some lady and she said yeah I got $5,400 from my Stimichex I said what do you do is she goes I'm here in Miami on vacation I don't even bring my kids with me we can there's a young girl that said she partied it all done already same girl downremembers are we can't do this and I think Trump knows that we can't do this in my opinion this is sort of a Hail Mary attempt if you check the Caljoyads the Democrats I have 85% chance to win the House Republicans 15 the Senate is a little bit more neck neck Republicans I think are at like 53 55% whereas the Democrats are in the high 40s it's a bad idea and and and by the way credit to us for not just drinking the Trump Kool-Aid we're very
complimentary of Trump but when he does something and we don't agree with we're gonna call it out yeah no and I love the it's like a pop you have kids is like when you promise a kid like hey I'm gonna give I'll give you to I'll give you this if you do this and it's like like you do with Brooklyn well she had this a whole different secret other yesterday you know she shows up Melva brings her and she goes uncle Vinnie cookies exactly cookies and I ran away but he does so you pull out the cookie I did not I didn't have a cookie but no but but to the point it's like listen again I voted for Trump twice is the country secure yes do we have problems yes are the promises that were made from you know and in the wars no new wars bring the prices down helping with the budget you know cutting energy costs there's a lot of stuff that was promised on the second term that it's not happening and this to me is just showing people hey listen I know I know but I'm gonna I'm gonna you you're gonna dangle this little shoddy thing in their faces back it's not gonna help but this is just showing where they're at remember when Trump said I could literally go in the middle of the street yeah I'm sure yeah this is that yeah yeah data rest
I think those days are behind yes I think those things you have to realize and I'll tell you why I'll tell you why you remember when Michael Jordan was playing for the bulls and he could get away with anything yeah fouls yeah and then when he's playing with the wizards he couldn't get away with everything you're like listen you got to kind of you got to kind of like you know so same applies when Kobe was shooting 35% from the field and his last couple years and he asked the 48 million dollar contract from the Lakers you're like what are you doing we're not gonna win anything if you getting this kind of money I feel like you know the true legacy for him is what America's gonna look like post him and he really like after he got shot and he came up and he spoke in a way where you're like he's changed a little bit you know he's played he's playing a different role now and everybody showed up tomorrow logo you know basal showed up tomorrow logo everyone showed up tomorrow logo it's like oh my god guys Zuckerberg you know even morning Joe and his wife that
we're talking trash they shut up tomorrow logo it was like okay we can we can get unified here I think I think the days of playing those cards you have if there is nothing else you have to prove this this guy's got nothing else to prove he has nothing else to prove the guy's gonna go down for he won the election to Hillary Clinton the day of New York Times has 99% at night he walks up on stage with Melania and the kids are like oh shit we won what do we do now I don't know if you remember that I'll get here and then the first four years you go you hire all these guys you fired them it's a chaotic administration covid happens you're out you're being criticized every day then he comes back then he wins then nobody believes he wins all the people that hated him came back I think a different approach today would be better for his legacy my opinion yeah I think a different approach that you're going to be judged by people if you're like for me voter ID massive border check you did it
zero one the biggest things and by the way sometimes thank you very much mr. person yeah sometimes when something like that happens and it happens so quickly you forget that it happened because it's no longer a crisis like oh order forget about it but no no don't say forget about it don't forget how bad it was a few years ago he got it done like this boys competing in women sports day one exact all of these things that are commonsense stuff it happens so quickly that you almost forgot that it happened so quickly yeah but then a linen you know getting rid of some of the illegal immigrants that came here that was a cluster voter ID getting you done parted I was on congress parted I was on Supreme Court so so he's so tear if some of that stuff he can't control that's on tariff so some of it is a Supreme Court ruling that came about but I think right now it's it's getting back to what the promises were and doing your best to finish that up strong and find a way to unify I you know which one I liked him at what was the the other meeting that they came out with the gun and the security was more protective of JD than they were with him which event was that the lighthouse correspondence dinner anybody said you know what they took JD off stage and you know
what he said he's like yeah it was great we unified and you know what's his name the guy from CNN the ball guy back in the days I got fired what was it was the Brian stelter everybody was very complimentary it was kind of like yeah we're working together it's okay I think we need to go there to wrap up I think that way of wrapping up you helped the Republican party by the way the biggest way to dictate success for him now Donald Trump what is the number one way to judge his second term as success number one way to judge his success if Republicans win in 2028 that's it that's all like that so if you don't do that guess what people are saying hey man we don't want another Trump to point out and on that just one final point it's about the future it's about what he leaves and my advice to everybody from JD van so Marco Ruby whoever's going to be doing in the future is if I could bring something from the UK is the good old days of British politics people like Marco Thachar and Vincent Churchill they used to on the promise and over deliver so they
used to just make vague but in a good way speeches during the election saying I'm gonna you know we're gonna make things good we're gonna make things secure and free and then they would do the radical policies like Reagan that you mentioned then they do it and then next election they say see what you've done are you happy vote again that's how you do it yeah everybody wears these fancy billionaire loafers everybody and so our audience said we love the FLB shoes what if we get some billionaire loafers so guess what we want to Portugal we went all over the world and we found the best factories to make it in and I want you to see this latest a billionaire loafers that just came in in three different colors but I want you to hear the story and I'll tell you all about it go for it builder technology designed to move with you because true luxury isn't about being noticed
it's about how you feel when you arrive the FLB icon lofa made for the life you've earned the raven reviews we got about these loafers isn't saying so I wore them at the event at the Formula One no socks I just put them on us let me see how it feels ridiculous ridiculous so if we got them in three different colors stone brown and navy sweet fits like a glove on your feet with the super phone technology that we have so meaning that whole super phone when you're walking on you feel like you got nothing on you're like you're floating it's on the bottom of this and future looks bright so limited numbers we don't have a lot of them here and we got them in the three different colors sizes we got 8 9 10 11 12 and 13 and if you haven't placed an order yet they're only 250 go to FLB dot com plate if you wanted to buy one of these of different brands you're spending 600 dollars to 2000 out for sure same exact factors that a lot of these other guys made but they're the FLB ones go to FLB dot com place your order you will fall in love with them and some of you
guys are going to order all three colors the stone the brown and the navy if you enjoy this video you want to watch more videos like this click here and if you want to watch the entire podcast click here
