Refreshing wild cherry cola meets smooth cream, the tree you deserve, Pepsi wild cherry and cream,
treat yourself.
Confirmation bias.
The President's Homeland Security Chief nominee, Senator Mark Wayne Mullin clashes with Democrats
in Republican Senator Rand Paul at yesterday's Senate Committee hearing.
You supported the felonious violent attack on me from behind.
I did not say I supported it.
I said I understood it.
There's a difference.
You called Alex Prety, quote, a deranged individual that came in to cause max damage.
I shouldn't have said that.
How support from the other side of the aisle could make him the next head of homeland?
Economic Warfare.
The Vice President tries to calm the panic over skyrocketing prices since the start of
strikes in Iran.
This is a temporary bloc.
As everyday Americans say they're paying the price at the pump.
I don't really leave my house.
I try to conserve my fuel as much as I possibly can.
Could this cost Republicans dearly at the polls?
If you could say something to President Trump, he was going to hear you right now, vote
a bit.
You are a worthless pile of ****.
You voted for him many times, three times.
Then, Carrie Washington, Elizabeth Moss and Kate Maura talk about spinning a wicked web
of secrets and scandal as imperfect women.
And CNBC anchor Sarah Eisen is back as our special guest co-host.
Here come hot topics with whooping, Sarah Hayes, Joy Behar, Anna Navarro, Sunny Hauston,
and Elizabeth Ehrig Griffin.
Now, let's get things started.
So, let's get to it because there's a lot to talk about.
Senator Mark Wayne Muller is you know who's picked to replace Kirstie Nome as Homeland
Security Chief and he was in the hot seat for his confirmation hearing yesterday.
You told the media that I was a freaking snake and that you completely understood why I
had been assaulted, have six ribs broken and a damaged lung.
Tell me to my face why you think I deserved it.
And while you're at it, explain to the American public why they should trust a man with anger
issues to set the proper example for ICE and Border Patrol agents.
I don't want to apologize, I haven't heard the word regret, haven't heard I misspoke
and it was heated and I made a mistake.
I actually did.
Sir, actually it wasn't heated and I'm not apologizing for pointing at your counter.
Good, good.
So, you're jolly well fine and you want the American public and the people up here to vote
that may or may not vote for you to know that you supported the felonious violent attack
on me from behind.
I did not say I supported it.
I said I understood it.
There's a difference.
It's about character assassination for you, that's the way this game has played, understand
it.
And you are making this about you, which is fine, but that doesn't keep me as separate
character assassination when you were the one lauding the assault.
Who do you think started that character assassination?
So it looked like Mullin will be confirmed.
Yes, thanks to Federman.
He was the deciding vote.
Well, but you know what, it's just, you know, when they, when people sit and they're
asked these questions, what we've seen for the most part is people say, oh yes, no,
no, no, I'm not going to move, I'm not going to change it.
And then they get in and they're the same exact people they were before.
So the question is, are you comfortable with him taking over Homeland Security?
Well, since Christian norm was in that position before, the bar is so low that if this guy
doesn't kill a dog, you know, we've already had it in the game, he's the, you know, but
he's a terrible, I don't think he's, I think he's terrible.
And as I said before, Federman was a deciding vote to say yes to this guy.
With Democrats like that, who needs Republicans?
No.
So I think in this time of political violence, the violence we've seen, if you do not strongly
and firmly denounce political violence right out of the get, whether it's the president
or anyone across the spectrum, you do not deserve a leadership position because we're talking
about the problem with the ICE agents and Senator Rand Paul said at best, he said, I just
wonder if someone who applauds violence against their political opponents is the right person
to lead an agency that is struggled to accept limits of the proper use of force.
Correct.
This man is also the guy that told the union leader, let's take it outside and fight.
That was literally two years ago.
Yeah.
That's not enough for this human growth of his character.
But you didn't see that they became friends and there was a lot of us between the two of them.
Doesn't matter if you get to our more MMA fire.
If you get into a point of a conversation where you're talking about fighting or just letting
political violence pass without complete and strong condemnation, you deserve no role
in leadership, let alone the head of the DHS.
It's the ECHS.
I agree with you, sir.
I just think it's a temperament issue, you know, I'm not going to call it a character issue
because he has a character issue.
Thank you.
Thank you for doing it.
I think, you know, we've seen so many people that are unqualified for that position.
The Christie Nome had been a governor, this man had been in Congress and so he had governmental
experience.
He was also a talk show host.
He was a construction worker.
He also was a professional MMA fighter and a plumber.
I just don't think that even with his government experience, someone with that sort of fighter
mentality who has been so aggressive should be heading a lawless band of massed bandits.
I just don't think that makes a lot of sense.
They should have come up with someone better.
They also had a chance to apologize, had an open chance to apologize.
I just think while the drama is playing out here and the senators are adjudicating their
personal beef with each other, what's actually happening and how Americans are experiencing
this, the Department of Homeland Security is now in its 34th day of a shutdown.
And there are 260,000 employees that work for the Department of Homeland Security more
than 100,000 of them are being forced to work without pay.
And that's a lot of TSA agents because they haven't passed the bill yet.
What's shocking to me, and there's a fight over funding the bill and the Democrats have
taken a stand against funding ICE and they want changes and they're not satisfied with
some of the compromises that they want.
Well, they don't want to win masks, for example.
Like, okay.
But you know what the Americans are not doing paying attention to the back and forth on
the deal making?
They're waiting in lines at airports and there's nothing that makes Americans more angry
than chaos at airports.
You know, this is the second shutdown we've had in the last six months for these TSA agents.
What usually ends government shutdowns is chaos at airports and TSA lines.
That's why it's so shocking to me that this is still going on and that they can't come
together.
I think it makes...
I think it makes...
I like that the Democrats are taking a stand here because we've got Renee Goodde.
We've got Alex Pretty dead.
We've got ICE again.
A law is banned of mask men that don't have the proper training to execute their positions
and the bottom line is the ass from the Democrats are don't wear a mask.
You know...
Identify yourself.
Identify yourself.
But they made some compromises.
Follow the law.
Don't camera.
Bust into people's homes without a warrant.
That's unconstitutional.
So I want them to stand tentos down.
They did offer.
They did offer the Democrats said, listen, we will fund TSA, we'll take care of this
and the Republicans said, no, no, because it's a better look for them if they don't.
But again, the only people who suffer are always American citizens.
And these agents, they've been political ponds.
You know, all the airline CEOs put an open letter out to Congress saying they should not...
TSA agents should not be political ponds in the congressional party.
And so the Republicans need to...
So with all of this, they want to plumber and our talk show host to fix this.
Yes.
Is that what I'm hearing?
And an MA fighter.
You know, what could actually also be helpful is since the planes are still flying,
do's are still being paid.
You're still paying security do's on your...
Oh, the TSA protected?
The TSA protected?
Well, no.
You know, the taxes, you're paying taxes on it.
I think we could grab a little bit of that money and funnel it to the people who could really use it
because the airlines know who their employees are, know what they need,
and could be helpful in this way.
As many Americans are stepping up and doing stuff, people are bringing food.
You know, Vegas, the lady told us yesterday is giving gas cards so people can get out here.
So there are things folks can do.
So we can find things to do when if you find yourself getting ready to fly,
you know someone who is a TSA agent, you know, ask them what they need.
See if you can help them.
Because this is going to go on for a while, because I think until everyone is comfortable
with how ice now goes forward, it's going to be...
This is going to be a tough fight because they have to make these...
They must make these changes.
They can't keep snatching little kids and they can't...
You know, it was just sloppy and bad, and I'm sure this nice man thinks he's the one to fix it,
but I think he meant something sweet.
He's not that nice, actually.
Well, but, you know, I'm not going to call him anything but that nice man,
because we're on TV right now.
Yeah.
And we'll be right back.
Tomorrow on the View.
What will happen when Ryan Gossing hits the table for the first time?
Oh, yeah.
The topics will get hotter than ever.

So the US is in 20 days, it's 20 days into strikes on Iran.
34 days into partial governmental shutdown that's keeping paychecks from thousands of federal
employees again.
Americans say they're feeling the financial impact at the pump.
And VP Vance, an economic director, Kevin Haslet, weighed in on it yesterday.
Take a look.
Gas prices are up and we know they're up and we know that people are hurting because
of it.
And we're doing everything that we can to ensure that they stay lower.
I will say, the president said this and I certainly agree with it.
This is a temporary blow.
The US economy is fundamentally sound and that if it were to be extended, it wouldn't
really disrupt the US economy very much at all.
It would hurt consumers and we'd have to think about, you know, if that continued what
we would have to do about that.
But that's like really the last of our concerns right now because we're very confident that
this thing is going ahead of schedule.
I was able to financially get to work until about the end of last week is when I really
started noticing that I had to ration my fuel and both sides really need to remember who's
hurting here.
Like you're at this point, I feel like they're just cutting off their nose despite their
face.
So Vance said it was a temporary blip.
What is the tone of his name?
Haslet?
Haslet.
Haslet.
He's a chief economic advisor to the president.
Right.
It was kind of unfortunate how he phrased it.
Well, say how he phrased it because I thought it was weird.
I mean, he basically just brushed it off and said what's the last thing we're worried
about.
Look.
Really?
Yeah.
Yeah.
You just literally just hit it.
Americans are feeling this.
I don't have to tell you guys.
I mean, if you have filled up a tank of gas, you are paying 80 to 90 cents more per gallon
than before this war began.
That's a sharp increase.
It's painful.
You feel it and it's going to impact your spending, you know, everywhere else.
It's an economic hit.
The good news, there are many reasons to believe that it is short-lived and that it
is temporary.
And I'll tell you why, because why it's happening, even just overnight, there's more bombings
and attacks on Iranian oil facilities, on other facilities like Qatar and the Gulf.
What will happen is either the military campaign will stop, will end, or the U.S. and Israel
will actually be successful in degrading a lot of Iran's capabilities to do things like
block this very important straight-of-form moose, which is where all the oil in the world
will 20 percent of oil exports go through, which is causing oil prices to spike.
When one of the two of those things happen, the straight opens up, there's reason to believe
oil prices will come back down.
And the last point on this is that, you know, the oil market, the oil market prices out
future prices, by the end of the year, the market is telling you, hopefully they're right,
that oil prices will be a lot lower than they are right now.
That's a lot of ifs.
It's a lot of ifs.
That's a lot of ifs.
That's a lot of ifs.
And you know, you know who went out, yes, they said, I didn't know they were doing.
I didn't know that Israel was doing bombing oil this while, and he did tell them.
And Israel told him, but the fact that he denies knowing it, or maybe he's to the point
where he is becoming more forgetful, he forgot they told him.
I mean, I just don't understand either you knew what you didn't, but when you say you didn't
and then Israel has to check you and say, excuse me, you said this was fine with you as well.
How do you, you know, I don't know how you did it.
I think this is a lot more about a lot more than oil.
And I think that there was no plan to end this war.
It's very easy to get into a war, very hard to get out of it, no plan to get out, not
even concepts of a plan to get out.
And let's talk about the fact that it's already costing us, I think, $12.9 billion already
spent on an award that's illegal and unconstitutional.
You know what you could do with $12.9 million, health care for 1.3 million Americans.
A full year, a full year of food assistance for 5.5 million Americans,
housing assistance for around 1 million Americans.
The entire National Park Service could have been funded for $12 billion.
Childscare for 900,000 children,
Pell grants for 1.6 million students, pay more than 100,000 teachers, nurses.
We should not be doing this.
This is hurting the American people.
It's much more than the price of gas.
It's much more than that.
Well, sorry.
No, you're not.
No, you're not.
No, you're not.
Don't apologize.
If you're giving the information you have, we don't have to apologize.
Thank you, puppy.
Not ever.
No more talking now.
We have to go to break.
Well, I mean, you could talk through the break if you want to.
But nobody's going to be watching us because we're going to break.
We'll be right back.
Welcome back.
We were talking about the economic impact on the war and the shutdown and all that's going
on.
Were you?
Yeah.
I was just speaking to the cavalier nature of calling this a blip.
When you look at so many people voted Donald Trump in because they were promised that gas,
eggs, everything was going down.
It never did that.
But now it's so far up, gas specifically.
Remember, people get to work by transportation.
Whether it's a bus, a train, these all run on diesel.
So, you've got this TSA agent saying, not only am I not getting paid, I can't even afford to pay out a pocket to get to work.
People can't do it.
And then President Trump will loosely say, I'm going to remember who didn't show up for work when we weren't paying you.
You know, the lack of understanding of what real people go through every day is the part that continues to kind of rub salt in the wound as we watch them see.
I think that that's it.
I mean, they're not being empathetic.
Sure.
But if you look at the facts, you know, the economy is generally in pretty good shape.
And I know it doesn't feel that way for everybody.
And we do have this phenomenon, which we've talked about, where, you know, the rich have gotten richer.
And if you're in the low end and it only comes harder, there's a K-shaped economy.
So, it's not an infant phenomenon.
I'm going to ask you a quick.
Yeah.
So you'll forgive everything because the economy's in good shape.
No.
No.
I'm just saying sometimes when it comes to President Trump, you know, you have to separate the character from the policies.
Uh-huh.
And there are policies that this administration has done.
All right.
And do you guys know about Trump accounts?
Yes.
It's really interesting.
You know, so every baby born in this country, every baby, no matter what income level, now qualifies for $1,000 in the S&P that they can hold until they're 18.
Okay.
That is a transformation of policy to help people.
All right.
What I have ordered this this time, what disappoints me about this entire conversation is that there is no effort put into solar energy.
The sun is there.
There's not a lot of money to be made, maybe.
And that's why, I mean, Trump says windmills.
I never understood wind because.
What did you say?
I never understood wind.
They're noisy windmills.
They kill birds.
You want to see a dead, a bird graveyard look under a windmill.
See, I think he's worried more about his hair than anything else here.
But, well, that's one of the solutions to this problem.
We defend on foreign oil and then we bomb the countries that supply it.
For the rest of the world.
Yeah.
For the rest of the world.
Well, something crazy going on.
You were raising the point about it's a lack of empathy and that there are these policies he's making.
The problem is those policies won't benefit anyone in the near term.
And people are really hurting.
I believe a government's first priority is to protect its citizens.
But that's not just at borders.
That's also their paychecks.
It's making sure they can get to work.
So I find that, whereas they're hyper focused on certain parts, they're not protecting.
There's been no movement on health care.
They were promised if the Democrats conceded and put the budget through last time,
that the Republicans said we're going to get to work.
We're going to come up with something.
It's March 15th, nothing's coming.
And those companies are tired in December.
And by the way, I think millions and millions and millions of Americans no longer have health insurance.
They opted out because they couldn't afford it because their premiums doubled.
That's what's happening in all the subsidies.
As a kicker to this, as we go,
I will also remind folks that, yes, it's good to put money away in a bank.
But if you don't take care of those kids after they're born,
when there's this...
When $1,000 in a bank account today, there's no guarantee.
People don't have the money.
They thought they put away.
No, but it's a step to bringing them into the system.
But it's not...
It's not...
You know, listen.
I'm sorry.
And for me, until he realizes how this affects all of us as citizens,
I...
It's not enough.
But we're done talking about it.
We got to go.
We'll be right back.
I got a lot more.

Oh, thank you.
Please thank point go for me.
We'll do my spoo-sure.
Thank you.
Very nice.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Very nice.
Very nice.
I mean, they're tater tots, right?
No.
They are very fancy, artisanal tater tots.
Very rude.
I love it when you sleep with chefs.
Oh, how's it going with the co-workers?
That's still...
Yes, we are still connecting here and there.
You know?
Yeah, it's very casual, though.
Does he know that?
Yes.
Nancy, you good?
What?
Is everything okay?
Yes.
Mm-hmm.
Please welcome Kerry Washington, Elizabeth Moss, and Kate Mara.
Thank you.
Like a sea, y'all.
That's right, you're here.
Nice to have you.
So, Elizabeth, you and Kerry are executive producers on this.
You came across this first as a book.
It's based on, from a few years ago.
What was it about it that sparked your vision?
Uh-huh.
It was the structure of it, which we've managed to maintain for the show.
It's my favorite thing.
It starts with Ellen or Kerry's character.
And you are so interested in it and you want to read a whole book
and watch a whole show about this character.
Right.
And then you turn the page and it says Nancy.
And you get to hear about Kate's character.
And then the same thing happens with mine, Mary.
And it just was like...
It just was so delicious and fun.
And yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It is delicious and fun.
And that's, I think, what's so interesting about it.
Because it's a hoot on it.
And the episodes were told from the different perspectives
of all the characters.
Yeah.
And Kerry, you call it messy.
It is.
It is a little messy, right?
I mean, the show's not messy.
The show's gorgeous, but these girls are messy.
They're messy.
The girls are messy.
And the men, too.
The show is a lot of imperfect women, but a lot of imperfect men.
And we keep saying, you know, honestly,
there's no such thing as perfect.
Yeah.
Another title could just be human beings, right?
Like, we're all imperfect.
But...
That doesn't ring the same, though.
And it's fun.
It's really...
I think why we say it's fun is because these women love each other very much.
They're trying to make really good choices.
But some of their choices are...
Sometimes you just can't.
That's funny.
That's funny.
We're all imperfect.
We try.
And Kate, it seems like not only on screen you have chemistry,
but you're all clearly friends off screen.
I do hear there's some pure pressure in this room.
Oh, no.
Oh, great.
Kerry, would you like get to know what you're talking about?
It all comes down to dancing and...
Social media.
Social media.
Yes.
Yes.
For me for wanting to promote our show.
Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
We're almost there.
You can see the relationships I have with you.
Because I'll be like, guys, I really think we should do this thing.
And I'll say no.
I'll be like, I agree.
No, no.
And then she's like...
And then it pops up on our feet.
No, she asks me.
And I'm like, okay, guess whatever you want, ma'am.
Yes, absolutely.
And I fold like a house of cards.
Because she's the boss.
And then I'm like, you're going to have to tell Kate.
You're going to have to tell Kate.
I'm not going to tell Kate.
You were going to tell Kate that I changed my mind.
And then I feel bad.
And then I say yes.
Yes.
And then you get to go.
Well, Kate, I also heard that Elizabeth was kind enough to give you some tips when you're
doing the press tour first.
Oh, yes.
She's so sweet.
She leaves me laughing.
She left me a little love note the other day when we did Kelly and Mark.
Yes.
And in case you can't read it, do not...
This up for the love of God, Kate.
Love Lizzie.
So sweet.
So sweet.
So sweet.
Like social comparison wherever I go.
Yeah.
Social comparison wherever I go.
Yeah,
Carrie, for Scandal, and Kate for House of Heart.
Yeah, very, very, very.
So now you're all working together.
What does it mean to you?
It's kind of a reuse of the source.
Yeah, we still working.
We still work.
Yes, we still working.
It's really special because we have all three
had careers where we've been blessed enough
to lead our own shows.
We've had to carry shows.
We've been number one's on the call sheet.
And we felt that pressure and that intensity.
And it's been such a privilege and an honor.
But now to come together, to be able to carry a show together,
to share that responsibility, and to support each other,
has just been a real joy.
It was really inspiring to see when it was someone's episode,
like Kate's block of episodes, we got to just be supporting.
We got to be part of the ensemble.
And it was about what you mean, what a heart of the world.
What do you mean exactly?
And it was actually really inspiring thing to see.
I didn't expect anything else, but it was very cool.
You never know.
You never know.
Oh, no, sure.
Well, Carrie, you and Elizabeth have something else in common.
You both worked with Woopy.
Lucky Elizabeth and 99's girl interrupted.
And you and Tyler Perry's for color girls.
And now, Carrie, you're bringing the groundbreaking
Woopy's One Man, One Woman, Broadway show back
to the stage at Lincoln Center.
Wow.
What can you tell us about it?
Well, thank you.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Woopy knows this show, right?
It's incredible.
It shows change so many of our lives.
I would not be an actor today if it wasn't
for seeing the show and really seeing the power of theater
and how it can change people's hearts and minds.
Thank you.
So amazing.
So we're getting to restage it.
But I'm not doing all those monologues.
It's really going to take five actresses
to be as brilliant as this One Woman.
So we're bringing together an incredible cast, too.
That's restable for you, imagine the model.
It'll be exciting to watch.
And I don't have to do anything.
You've got to feed your flowers.
Or just have to feed your flowers.
You should be there.
And it's great to see all you women.
Because for years and years, we've always heard women say,
you know, people don't let us work together.
They pit us against each other.
And God bless Barbara Walchuss.
Because I think this was a groundbreaking show,
beginning to show the fact that women can talk and listen.
Yes.
So this is an evolutionary move with this.
And the fact that you saw it, is that your director
eye that you saw that will?
Maybe.
I think so.
Yeah.
I think I love an ensemble.
But also, I love these women.
And the idea of being able to call her and say,
I think I have something that you might like and give
that opportunity and then get the opportunity back
of getting to work with her as a producer and same with Kate.
It was like, well, this is what you get to do as a producer.
That's really fulfilling.
It's really marvelous.
And when we come back, we'll talk more.
Yeah.
APPLAUSE
We're back with Terry Washington, Elizabeth Lawson, Kate Mara.
Sonny has the next question.
Thank you, Wolf.
Now, we all loved Elizabeth your series, The Handmaid's Tale.
Yeah.
Wolfie Dress as a Handmaid.
Yeah, Wolfie Dress as a Handmaid for Halloween costume.
Back to up for Halloween, for Halloween special.
Yes, that was something you're the music.
It was so good.
Yes, that was our Wolfie.
Did you keep the costume when the show?
I do.
I have all you have for you.
Oh, yeah.
That's like, yes, of course.
I con it.
That's in storage.
But this I got to talk about.
So I saw this because we freaked out when we saw it.
Really?
We were so, everyone on set was like so excited and honored
that you did that.
Oh, good.
They weren't on set.
Oh, god, that was the coolest thing ever.
And I literally ran around like showing it to everybody.
I was like, whoa, wait, wait, wait, wait.
It was cool.
It was cool.
Thank you.
It was so awesome.
Thank you.
It was one of our better, the harder.
Yeah.
And it was very pointed.
It made the point.
It did.
It did.
It was really good.
We felt like we were living it.
Well, we still do.
But next up, you're an EP on the Sequel series.
The Testaments, which looks fantastic.
The trailer, I think, credible.
The trailer is so awesome, I love it.
It really is terrific.
Yeah.
So it starts Jason Finney from one battle
after another, an aunt out who plays Aunt Lydia.
And she's going to return for this.
Will June Osborne be making an appearance, do we think?
I couldn't tell you if I was.
So, but yeah, it's been really, really cool.
And I meant I didn't have to say goodbye to the world,
which I was very happy about.
And then, obviously, getting to be a part of anything
that Chase is a part of is so exciting and such an honor.
And it's cool.
I think it's for people who love the show,
who love Hamins, but it's also for people
who've never seen Hamins.
Yeah.
And like, no offense taken.
Like, it's just a little bit different.
And it's the next generation that has experienced
any other world.
Exactly.
Chase plays Hannah, my daughter.
So, yeah, it's a little bit of a new look at it.
I can't wait.
We'll hear you.
Speaking of Chase Infinity, you've
been having a ton of fun posing with her
and Tyrick Withers at different events lately.
Because fans have noticed they look like they could be Olivia
and fits his kids from Fanto.
And Tyrick, even Photoshopped Tony Goldwyn
into one of the pictures.
Yes, he did.
Oh, my God.
I mean, it's just a family picture, guys.
But the fans are begging for a spin off.
Will you give the fans what they want?
We feel like, since we're basically
sharing her as a daughter, we should
figure out what that show is.
Where Chase plays our daughter.
Because clearly, she's your daughter on the show.
She's my daughter on the internet.
So, we have to do that now.
Or I'll be on the scandal spin off, which is super loud now.
Also totally familiar with that, yeah.
Kate, you come from an iconic football family.
One great grandfather founded the Pittsburgh Steelers
and the other founded the New York Giants.
Oh, my God.
Woo!
How intense are you?
When a game is on.
Do you just, do you just go off?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, we all are.
We all get, like, I have, you know, nephews crying.
And like, I get, my kids are scared when the Giants play.
When the Giants play, yeah.
Because they're like, what mommy are we going to get?
They know how important it is.
So, like, makes her break the day.
Yes.
For us too.
For us too.
Then Kate, it's only fitting that you're
the first acting gig at 14 was an AT&T commercial
that aired during the 1998 Super Bowl.
That's it.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
We have it.
I can't believe it.
So, what do you want to go with, Angela?
I'm going to tell you guys.
Oh, come on.
I did it on the whole school by seventh period.
No way.
We're your best friends.
And we keep a secret.
All right.
He hardly even knows I exist.
It's a fight.
No, no, no.
It's a fight.
Bobby Templeton.
Bobby Templeton.
He's a huge fan of you.
Bobby.
He was so cute.
Bobby Templeton.
And aside from Bobby, what do you remember about that?
Well, I mean, to be in a Super Bowl commercial is epic.
And then, in my family as well,
is like the most exciting gig I think I've ever gotten.
Oh, no.
I'm so waiting to be in another one.
I'm so waiting to be in another one.
Tell them to keep it.
Tell them to keep it.
Tell them to keep it.
Tell them to keep it.
I'm so waiting to be in another one.
Oh, circle.
You were perfect then.
Now we're imperfect.
Yeah.
I was much more innocent than you.
Carrie, you were recently honored by the Women's Cancer
Research Fund for Your Advocacy.
All right.
What?
You brought your mom.
I gave this to my mom's a four-time cancer survivor.
Yeah.
So if anybody deserves an award, Brad,
I didn't have any good cancer.
Yeah.
Now, what does she look for?
It did seem that you were truly surprised
to see Jennifer Lopez come out to present you
with the courage award.
It was a total shock.
And an idea.
What is happening?
What is happening?
So crazy.
I was shocked.
I was shocked.
So shocked.
Woohoo.
Yeah.
It was very special.
Now, is it true that you both went to the same boys
and girls club?
We did.
We did.
We both grew up in the Bronx.
We went to the same boys and girls club.
Yeah.
And I was shocked.
I was shocked.
I was shocked.
So shocked.
Woohoo.
You play a bud.
I play a bud.
Yeah.
Okay.
And as I said, I just stand behind the camera.
I'm going to wear this.
No matter what.
I said maybe that's what she had known for.
But I never knew how it would go.
It's something spect two things.
And it was a good thing to see Summer.
I think it would be better to see it.
She did grow.
Yes, she did.
Summer.
You were gettinginski.
That's what she was talking about.
OK.
She was just going to go back.
I know it.
after three months, three months after having a baby.
And you said it's important for your daughter to see.
Yeah, I think so.
I mean, look, I was, I then had the opportunity
to then work with these two women who have three kids each
and are working and holding down the fort.
And that was, I mean, a constant inspiration every day
to see how they balanced it and to see how they balanced it
so beautifully and to see how they talked about the more.
The harder parts as well and shared and like,
so I went from this experience on my own
to then kind of getting to see that how it's really done,
which I was so, so lucky to have experience.
And I was still to this day, I'm constantly like,
so what do you do?
You know, and so I got really lucky
of being able to learn a lot.
You got to have a pretty mom with them also.
Yeah, it's always important, right?
To be in community with other works.
Well, in transparent.
You've got to talk about the good,
and the bad is how we all know it's there.
Yeah, this is the bad.
Because we have to say goodbye.
Hello.
But our thanks to the cast of Imperfect Women,
which is streaming now on Apple TV
with new episodes every Wednesday.
And we will be right back.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
