This filter demands your favorite afternoon show.
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes!
They're not doing math and maths.
Anna Tutu from Chapman.
The flyball off the end of the bat that should do it Anthony, is there.
And the Red Sox take opening day in Cincinnati, and they do it with a shut-up.
out three to nothing against the reds.
Well, that's how you dial it up.
I mean, you talk about the pitching and defense now.
Listen, I think that the offense will perform.
I think it is underrated.
But tonight, Garrett Crochet gave you everything.
You wanted out of him.
I know one of the greatest camp.
And then you lined it up with Slate and Whitlock Chapman.
Absolutely fantastic.
And we saw the impact of ABS.
That walk.
Well, it was a strikeout by Roman Anthony.
Created two more runs.
Nice insurance runs.
Good win for the socks.
Opening day, not just at baseball's back
and the whole aesthetic of spring and day baseball.
And here comes the summer and a great sport
when it's played right in baseball and all of this.
It's the nature of the schedule where you play opening day.
Then there's an off day the next day until you play again.
So it's like two days to overreact to one baseball game.
Is it great?
It's the best.
The absolute best.
What do you think Caleb Durbin-Mass?
I can't stand him.
I think the guy below is okay.
So I went mass does that.
The response I get from Red Sox fans.
It's just a game.
Well, it's just one game.
How can you say that?
But yet when I say Marcelo Meyer looks like he's the balls
and ready to go.
How come I don't get it's only one game?
Is it only one game or is it not only one game?
It's one game.
But that means they all count.
I like overacting to all of it.
So do I.
On both sides.
What do you mean?
Is it only one game?
I mean, you mean the reaction.
You can say good things.
You say, well, that's the Red Sox pitching.
Yesterday, crochet, Slayton, Whitlock, Chapman, Bucket.
Here we go.
But then you say Caleb Durbin blows.
And what's the first thing they say?
Two or only one.
Just one game.
Well, wait a minute.
I was just one game on the other guys too.
So I love that hole back and forth with fans.
That's always fun.
But well, here we go.
So I think that's still.
I'm probably the lead story here.
The Red Sox kicking off the 2026 season and how that all looked.
And we're also talking a lot about the ABS, which I think is a pretty significant change to the game.
It's not a small deal.
I really noticed it.
I really felt it in that game.
Oh, it definitely affected yesterday's Game of the Red Sox.
And the way they executed it in the seventh inning was kind of picture perfect.
Or was it the ninth?
I'm sorry, I keep confused.
It was the ninth that they got those insurance runs.
Exactly.
And Roman Anthony challenged that three two call.
Pretty significant part of the game.
You're up one nothing though.
Led to the insurance runs.
You would have been out of the inning.
The inning was over if that strike had held.
He challenged it.
Draws a walk.
Next thing you know, two insurance runs across the plate and Chapman gets to waltz his way to a easy save.
And you win that ball game.
But I just think throughout the course of these games, I thought it was noticeable.
And for me, not in a good way.
I don't need it.
But that's just a personal opinion.
You can tell me how you feel about it as well.
It's 617-779095.
Any fresh sauce before you go back to the phones?
I don't.
I actually had one.
Did you guys touch on the Tristan Cassis post yesterday at all?
I don't know.
Oh, no, I don't know what it was.
Oh, because I had more people up in my DMs sending me this yesterday from his Instagram post.
And I, after seeing this, you know, the Red Sox, I think it'll be a fun watch this year, much like last year.
But I enjoy the Bruins so much more as long as I can avoid listening to Jeremy Swainman speak.
And the same goes for me with the Red Sox and Tristan Cassis.
So yesterday, on Instagram, he posts with like him with his bat in his hand.
The feelings of euphoria dissipate and fizzle to make my inside shrivel and sadness when we're apart.
You make the rest of the world go quiet the same way you make my body feel like it could burst into flames whenever the two of us are together.
Talking about baseball, by the way.
It's not eyes that lead, but souls that dance and settle into each other as long as there's nowhere else to hide.
But maybe this feeling is something else entirely.
As in your presence, I cannot properly think or even breathe.
Again, they're an enjoyable watch last year.
He wasn't around injured, but now he's back.
I'll enjoy the Red Sox this year as long as I can avoid all things Tristan Cassis.
These are like the scribblings of like a celebrity stalker or a cook like Henkley.
Like not a baseball player enough for this guy.
So I can't stand him.
Okay. So there's that.
And I have an update on the Tiger Woods situation.
If I am to believe the banner head at the bottom of the thing here, the initial reports.
And I don't know where they came from, but no suspicion of impairment.
Well, that's not what the banner head says now on sports center.
Tiger Woods arrested on suspicion of DUI after car crash.
Well, no kidding.
You know, if you were listening all the time here, when those first reports came out,
I'm saying, how does this guy keep getting such a complete pass?
How does he flip a car again in a nothing neighborhood on a nothing street two o'clock in the afternoon
with a history of rolling his cars and passing out at the wheel under the influence of narcotics.
And yet this happens and everyone says all was a dangerous neighbor.
There's no suspicion.
There's no suspicion of foul play.
And this is a neighborhood where a lot of accident bull crap bull crap.
Use your head.
And so just using your head.
If you're listening to this show two hours ago, you're ahead of it.
And obviously, either the man is just a complete train wreck behind the wheel and doesn't know how to drive a car.
Or he's continues to have serious problems.
And I think it's probably the second thing if I had to guess.
DUI, it's head.
So does that, but my question you was going to be, I think it's a, but does that presume alcohol
that can be under the influence of something else?
It's nothing else.
It's going to be any so.
Okay.
All right.
Then there's no way I believe that it's alcohol.
It's got to be painkillers.
Got to be.
Uh, so I don't know why that's important.
But well, I mean, given his history.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'm just saying that I, you know, he might have been drinking for all I know.
I could have been both.
So again, so they just changed the bannerhead.
Why?
Now it says Tiger Woods involved in car accident in Florida.
What's the story?
Tiger Woods involved in car accident in Florida.
Or the previous thing they just had up there.
Tiger Woods arrested on suspicion of DUI.
Was that a, was that a mistake that they put up there?
Oh, now they just switched it.
Oh, so they're, they're, they're rotating between those two.
Yeah.
I wouldn't rotate.
What's the story?
The second thing or the first thing depending on when you looked at it.
Tiger Woods arrested on suspicion of DUI after car crash.
That's the one that should stay up there.
I agree.
Like, that's the story.
That page six in a New York post Tiger Woods arrested charge with DUI.
Well, they just tell the press conference down there.
So I'm sure that crawled out of Land Rover after Rollover crash.
And you look at this neighborhood where the car accident was laughable.
Well, I don't know where that was at the New York Post that said there was a neighborhood with a high incident of accidents.
How?
There's like single family homes on little one little side street.
And the cars laying on its side in this nothing little residential neighborhood.
How does it get there?
How blasted do you have to be?
So it's probably the speed limit in there.
It's probably like 25, 30 miles.
No, that's right.
Yeah.
It's one of those little kind of neighborhoods.
Something like that.
Probably not that.
It's not even that fast.
Maybe 15, 20, something like that.
How many times is this guy rolled his car?
I left out the running over the fire hydrant when his wife chasing him with the nine iron.
Well, since 2009, four car crashes in DUI's one one win in the majors.
So.
So much for.
So the guy does nothing but roll his car crash into things.
It was already been arrested on DUI charges with five different narcotics.
You know, swimming around his system as he's passed out in the middle of the road.
And the report comes out that he's involved in an accident.
Anyone goes, uh, just an accident, huh?
That's good.
You don't want to immediately.
You're like, the guy gets such a pass on this.
All right.
So I'm reading from the post page six.
According to authorities, woods was driving a dark colored land Rover when he attempted to pass a utility pressure cleaner truck.
Allegedly clipping the back end of the truck's trailer at which point it rolled.
So yeah, that's why there's accidents there.
It's people just get out of my way.
I don't believe there's a lot of accidents.
Yeah, right.
The picture makes sense.
It's sort of like a scene out of the dukes of hazard.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
There's like a little ramp where they have the they put their pressure washer or their equipment, right?
And on the trailer bed, it has a little ramp to it.
And he tried to pass it and he's so blasted.
He two of the wheels were up on the thing and Rick.
He flipped.
DUI investigators at the scene conducted tests after which woods was determined to have allegedly shown
quote significant signs of impairment.
Yeah, he was out in space because he hit the pressure washer track.
I don't mean to laugh.
It's no laughing matter.
No, it is.
He's clearly messed up.
If he's got problems, that's not a laughing matter.
And I don't, you know, I don't think he's a horrible human being and I don't mean to like rip him.
What I'm ripping is the coverage.
What and what I'm ripping is how it was immediate that he showed no signs of impairment.
No signs of impairment.
It's a neighborhood with a lot of incidents and a lot of accidents and there's nothing to see here.
And everyone sort of brushes it off and the way it's covered, you know, the DUI, the initial ESPN report
that I read you an hour ago, did not mention the DUI, which I think is significant when he's got a track record
of these things in his car.
And it's not even mentioned.
Oh, you mean the past DUI?
Yeah, the DUI.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
He was 2017.
Is when he had the DUI.
Yeah, it didn't mention his history.
It mentioned the role over in California.
But it's like, how many times this dude going to roll his car?
And the like, just tell us the story.
So like the protecting the protective shield around him does bother me.
Because you're just not reporting, you're just not doing your job in terms of reporting it or being a journalist or like pretending to be.
And so that's a pile.
It's not he doesn't bother me like he's got a problem.
He's got issues.
So I, you know, I hope he figures them out.
It feels he's been battling it for a while.
But can we tell it like it is?
That's all that I'm bothered about.
Oh, no, that should tell it.
Tell it like it is.
Yeah.
So look, I mean, to me, now I suppose ultimately they did.
In other words, it came out.
But the initial story did not have any mention of his history, which was clearly like a complete, you know, whitewash covering for the guy.
Absolutely.
That's a complete whitewash.
All right.
Anyway, I'm sorry.
I promise.

As men get older, our bodies change.
We all know that.
And often we just accept the changes as the way it is.
But some of those changes, such as bad sleep patterns, low sex drive, brain fog, no energy,
and reduced gains in the gym, could be due to low testosterone.
And that is something you can change.
This is Dale from Northeast Men's Health.

Now, I'm on the sports hub.
Yeah, the three-two pitch.
The runner can go a two down.
My are taking off.
And that's it for strike three.
Well, they want to challenge it.
This is a better challenge.
A little bit down.
It's worth it here.
Why not?
You got one left.
That's it.
Yeah.
Pretty good.
One remaining challenge.
So it goes Roman's way to call his overturn.
That means it's ball four.
I don't think he's going to miss many challenges.
No, but you know, him hovering around whole plate made me think.
Yeah.
Right?
You didn't think he knew it was a ball.
You throw your bat, take off your gear and walk down the first as they are reviewing.
Show me some confidence, Obi.
Two down, two one.
And a line driving a base into the left.
Here comes Meyer.
He will score.
He almost stumbled around third base.
But he is in to make it two to nothing.
And a giant run driven in by Trevor Story.
Red Sox, two in the reds nothing.
Big knock here for the socks.
Been a big challenge by Roman.
The giant run.
Yeah, that's a huge moment in the game.
You knew it was low and it was a ball.
Why didn't you run to first?
Because he had his doubts.
He didn't know.
He took a shot.
And it worked.
And I get it while you like it.
But I do.
I can't wait.
For the time that Gare Crochet drills one right at the knees.
Perfect strike.
And they go to ABS.
And they rule it a ball.
Because some ham and egg are was standing on his tiptoes in Mesa, Arizona in late February.
And the strike zone is no longer at the knees.
It's where he measured in spring training.
Because that's how they're doing it now.
It's not based on the letters or your armpits or the belt or your knees.
It's where you measured some morning in spring training.
And again, they measure in the morning.
Because studies show that you actually shrank during the day.
So they measure these guys.
It's laughable, but they did this.
Measure them first thing in the morning.
So it's no longer at the knees.
That ball might have been at the knees, but it didn't end up where Roman Anthony measured some morning in Fort Myers in February.
This is this part of it blows me away.
Like really?
So it makes no sense.
Because again, I said to you earlier, I assumed, foolishly, I assumed that the technology would be able to just pick up where, you know, I'll call it the armpits to make it easy.
The armpits at the top of the knees are when the guys in his crouch when he's in his stance.
Because nobody hits straight up or very few people do.
So I would say I thought the technology would do it on that.
Not on some measurement.
They take in spring training and pump into a machine, which again brings me back to this whole idea of what then how do you know the machines right?
You don't know the machines, right?
I think the machines wrong.
Just as much as humans are.
Exactly.
Exactly.
Or enough to make me not need it.
Anyway, back to your calls on everything.
Thanks for hanging on.
Scott and Kent.
What do you got for Scott?
Two questions.
Number one, how long will John Smith be with the Pittsburgh Steels?
And number two, how long will Kyle Dugger be with the Pittsburgh Steels?
Good question.
You want him back?
Yes.
Well, okay.
The first one's easy.
Smith was a free agent.
He was there for one season.
I can't speak to Dugger.
But John Smith was one on one year deal.
Is he still a fridge right now?
Yeah.
He's still out there.
I think Dugger's a good fit for Pittsburgh.
Yeah.
I mean, you know, hard hitting something.
I mean, I say good run player.
I don't know.
He'll get him right to nine wins.
Yeah.
Physical safety.
Exactly right.
He won't change anything.
Right.
Here's Jeff and Norwood.
Hi, Jeff.
Hey, gentlemen.
How are you doing?
Good.
As far as signing guys in major league baseball, signing guys to contracts, big contracts before
that time, like Christian Campbell, you know, it shouldn't be much of a gamble, right?
I mean, once you get the talent, the coachability, skill, character, development, potential, you know,
the only thing you should really be gambling on is whether the cake can stay healthier or not.
You know, so I just don't think Brazil got it right at all with Campbell.
And while the braves have been experts at this, I don't think Brazil will be.
No, I don't think Red Sox do small market.
Well, then this is a file under another, another example of it.
The need to jump the gun on Christian Campbell.
Why?
He didn't even have a good spring when you signed them to show everyone how smart they are.
So it's like, no, seriously, that's what it was to show everybody how smart they are.
John and Roxbury on the Red Sox.
Go ahead, John.
Hey, fellas. Thanks for having me.
So yesterday, seven thinning zero game, double a bunch, and then a run.
When's the last time we seen a small ball like that?
So my question is, could court be taking the analytics away?
Okay.
Mass, do you think Alex Cora is taking the analytics away in that situation?
I so badly wish that that were the case.
But as Jimmy Stewart told us came in here during a break a little while ago.
And I looked up the sentence in the story.
Narvae is bunched on his own.
So the idea, you know, in Cora's response, we can play it for you again.
Cora's response after the game.
When asked about the bun, was elusive, which means that he didn't call for it.
Did Narvae's bun on his own?
Was that something you put in?
We don't want to know this guy.
So strategy.
So that's he didn't call for it.
So he's not stuffing the analytics.
The player acted rogue and Cora probably didn't like it.
Right.
And in a story that McCaffrey wrote about, I think of his Garrett Crochet,
the sentence she put in was Meyer saw one pitch before smacking a double to left field.
He advanced to third on a sacrifice.
Bunt by Narvae is who said he read this situation and decided to bun on his own.
You know what? Good for Jen McCaffrey.
Absolutely.
There's not enough Red Sox writers guys.
I was going to say, but reporters who asked strategy questions.
That's the most interesting stuff.
Right.
It is.
And that is, and that's a detailed question about a simple play that happened in the game
that a lot of people probably overlooked.
Or just took Cora's answer for it and didn't follow up with the player.
And the player said, no, I did that on my own.
We don't want to know this guy.
So strategy.
Sure you do.
So that is that's good reporting is what that is.
That's good reporting.
But it's too bad that it takes the player to do that on his own when I wish I came from the bench too.
Yeah.
And you know what?
Like I find it a little frustrating that Cora didn't call for it.
Because he wants to sit there and say, we don't make enough contact.
We don't do this.
We have to learn to do these things.
Late last year they did play a little bit of small ball.
But Narvaya's can actually bun half decent.
He's not horrible at it.
They have guys that are worse.
And so like, you know, so good for Narvaya's for taking it into his own hands.
Chris and Hartford.
Thanks.
Thanks.
We don't want to know this guy's strategy.
Sorry, Alex.
Chris and Hartford.
What do you got?
Thanks for hanging on.
Yeah.
Thanks for taking my call.
You watched probably the biggest game in the year.
That's called home of Saudi翂 West.
Yes, I did.
Okay.
In your opinion, just one question, sir.
In your opinion, who is the best player for the Boston Celtics?
In the first half of that game.
I think always have great back.
Okay, you can hang on.
If you want, but I think it was Tatum at a good second quarter.
You did, I would say Tatum is the right answer.
It definitely was an open and could've put it in the ocean.
I think Tatum second quarter.
quarter. We're sort of the key to the first half of them hanging in there. It wasn't got them back
in there. Yep. So I don't know. You're trying to prove some point there. To me, the key is fourth quarter
in close games. What does the offense look like? How does it go? And in that case, it went through
Jalen Brown, which it should. And over the course of the game, the flow of the game, Brown started
that game. I would say like over six or something. Yeah. He didn't play great at the beginning. He
started really none of them. Right. They all started really slow. And so like in the course of a game,
and 48 minutes, someone wants to take over a quarter. That can be anyone. That's fine.
They're at their best when it matters in crunch time. When it goes through Jalen Brown over
Jason Tatum, or at least Jason Tatum is not bringing the ball up into the front court himself.
That's when they're at their best. I feel that way. I like, I take him playing on the wing and
receiving the ball over half court. I like that way, way better. The only caveat I'll give is that
when they get on the road and their role players aren't going to be great in the postseason,
sometimes you need a guy to bail you out. You just have to identify it. And that's what Tatum needs
to do. Time in marble. Go ahead, Tom. Yeah. Two comments quick. First of all, how does Tiger
World still have a license? In second of all, if you weren't that much money, hire a driver,
and do as many drugs as you want, that way you don't have to drive. I mean, it sounds so simple.
But how does he still have a license? Well, the DUI he got was in 2017, I believe.
But again, I have the ESPN story. And of course, they don't make it easy for me to find that.
That's someone when he was by the side of the road past hell, basically. Yes. And I just read,
I'd lost the story. I'll try and find it again. He pled, pled out to reckless driving and went to DUI
school. Whatever that is. You guys are going to pay in that. So is that, did he not officially
get charged with DUI and then didn't lose his license? If you get a DUI, don't you lose your license?
Yeah, sort of automatically. Yeah, but I think you can get it back. Obviously, over a time.
But how is this? How is the story? I know it's tough to find what he was.
ESPN story doesn't even mention his past DUI. How is that possible? How do you do that?
I'm not frustrated by woods. I mean, you shouldn't be driving. But you tell me the TGL,
the golf league isn't it on ESPN? Yes. So he's clearly got problems that he still has.
But ESPN's white washing of it is what bothers me. He had a bad DUI. I just feel the need to do it
because ESPN isn't doing it. I think he's part owner of the TGL, isn't he? Is that it? Yeah,
and they have a deal. There you go. Right, isn't that it? I'd have to look that up. I thought he was.
I thought it was him and I think he has a stake in it. Anyway, put it this way. I know this that
the simulators they use are the ones that have tiger woods on it. So it's, you know, whatever they
call the software is a big picture of tiger woods on it. And they do a deal with ESPN to carry.
I think they might wash that. In May of 2017, police found him asleep at the wheel of a car parked
awkwardly on the side of the road with damage to the driver's side. He was later found to have
after text, text, a toxicology reports five different narcotics swimming around in his system.
Those substances identified. I got a mirror. Go ahead. Hydrocodone, opioid pain killer,
generic form of vikin, hydromorphone, potent pain medication, commonly known as delotted,
Al, Alparoza's in Xanax, basically.
Maury, we rely on you for this information. I know. Seriously, this is shaking my confidence in
you, uh, Zolped, Zolped them, Zolped them, sedative views to treat insomnia. So Ambien and, uh,
Delta nine carboxy THC, the active chemical compound found in marijuana. So opioids,
downers weed weed. El Chapo contributed to this report. I was reading the thing today. He
agreed to a breathalyzer, but denied a urine test, which is like this whole thing about now,
like drunk driving. It's got to be totally, you know, reassessed or the thing about drinking. Like,
I loved it when, um, as a prince died and he said, well, he doesn't even drink it. This doesn't
make any sense. He didn't need to drink. He was on planet zippy because he was on, you know,
I think fentanyl is what killed him. Just every prescription medication known to man. Why would
you need to drink it after that? Maybe petty was in the same time. Petty was in the same thing.
I think I'm not sure. But, uh, you know, yeah, okay. He wasn't drinking. He doesn't need to.
He's already well on his way with all the stuff that he's on. So Tiger Woods, yeah, go ahead,
give me the breathalyzer. And then they said, no, no, urine test. Twitch, he said no dice on that one.
Yeah, right. Even if you wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt a little bit because he's
got a million back surgeries, the, the leg surgery from this last accident and whatever that was
2021. I, I, but in that case, and so you need, if he, if it's like like Elvis at the end, like,

straight when you start taking them. But he should, somebody around him, or he himself has to be
able to say, dude, give up the keys, get rid of the cars, no cars at the house. So we continue.

God knows.
Listen, this is why I picked the Celtics win the title. I think that they have
easier path than the Thunder, and I think they match up well with the Thunder.
Last night is not, even though it's just the seventh time this season, the Thunder
have had their true starting lineup. As we talked about yesterday, only the 21st time,
the last two years, in the regular season, they've had the true starting lineup.
And Jalen Williams was bad. His first game back to his point.
Totally fine that he's bad. But I don't look at
the boost, the Thunder will get from Jada being back to normal, as nearly as impactful
as the boost the Celtics will get from an even just slightly improved Jason Tatum.
Because in one of the oddest stats that exists in the league, the Thunder are not better with
their second best player. With Jalen Williams, they win 76% of their games, which is awesome.
That is a 61 pace. And without him, and it's a huge sample. They win 86% of their games,
which is damn near 70 win pace. That is not to say, I do not think he makes them worse.
I do not think any of that. I just don't think you get the extra. Oh, and now you add this
player into the fold because they don't, they are so deep and so redundant in skill sets for
basically everyone but Shay. I don't know how much that helps them compare to Tatum just getting
better. I'll make that the supercut of the week. When you're thinking about your next haircut,
use your head head to any of the 120 Boston and Providence supercuts salon supercuts,
real smart hair. Let's do some email, shall we, Jimmy? Yeah.
It's the Coleman Electric email of the day.
It's electric, send yours to Felger at 985theSportsUp.com.
When you need an electrician, call Coleman. It's electric.
KUHL, M-A-N-MAS, panoramic placements, old wiring. They're a generic dealer. They're the
preferred generic dealer of generic. In fact, if you need a, yeah, that's electric.
Full house generator. That's who you want to call. So we had five questions. Nothing to
a sports. One of Murray's was the max age for enlistment. Now when the army has been pushed
up to 42, Murray asked, what's the last age you think you could have done it? To which I said
today, 56 and a half years old, whatever I am. At least I think, I don't know what the basic
training or the testing is, but I think I'm in shape or could quickly get to the level that was
needed. So Brian Yee sent in this subject line, no chance Felger can pass US Army basic training
standards at 54, 56 is what I meant. And then he sent in the testing. He says, when tested,
these are all done on the same day. Same day. So I've got like 12 hours to do all of this.
Okay, deadlift, three reps on the hex bar, minimum 140. That I'm not sure about, but I think I got
that. Yeah, deadlift is just a deadlift. You pick it up, stand. Yeah.
Supples that just can use, yeah, okay. All right. I can do that. Three reps of 140.
Just up to your thighs. I'm pretty sure I got that. I mean, I could do that if the doctors
allowed me. Go ahead. But that's the minimum. Like, is there a, so a solid is 180 to 250 pounds.
Okay. Three reps. So I don't know if I can do 250, but if I, the minimum, we're just thinking
that I like qualified the minimum 140. Yeah, I got that. I'm going for the minimum like GPA
to graduate. So this, yeah, I mean, I mean, now I think about that. I could easily do that.
You should be able to do it easily. So you'll get assigned to clerical work. You won't like
be a real soldier. Shush. That's like, that's leg weight. Shush. Number two, hand release pushups.
Minimum 10 to 15. Okay. You know what I have? So I just, I just looked it up. Nope. No,
I thought it was you're like, you're jumping a clap or something. Nope. It's something you do where
you, you, you lie on your stomach and you lift up your hands and your feet at the same time,
then put them back down. Do a pushup. Go back down. Lie on your stomach. Hand up, feet back. Do
it again. That sounds like a burpee. I can do it easily. And not to brag or sound like I'm,
I mean, some sort of super great shape. I'm not, but I do 100 pushups today. I did 100 pushups
today. Like in sets of 25, I can easily do 10 to 15 hand release pushups without a problem.
I can do, I can do that. Next. I don't think you could. 10 hand release pushups.
Okay. Sprint drag carry. This, I don't know what this is. Sprint drag carry. So is this like a
farmer's walk? You know, when you have the farmer's way, yeah, no, that's not, you're not sprinting
a farmer's walk. So I, I sprint in the, in the term here. I'm not sure what that is. Sprint
drag carry. What are your dragon? Right. Exactly. This is like what you do with a, you know,
a friend to get them out of a park. First, you sprint, then you drag them. And then you have to
carry them up the stairs and get them in bed. Drag carry. Uh, so this is, I, this looks like
it's just a quick Google right here. It's, there's, it's like you're like a blocking sled,
but you're, it looks like you're pulling it. There's a weight on the ground with some sort of
lever attached to it or rope attached and you drag it along the ground. I think that's what
that is. Okay. Okay. Okay. Uh, if, if it's the same level of stuff that we're just talking about,
okay, I see it right here. It is. So there's weights on the ground bar, uh, weights on the ground
with pulleys and you drag it. I think I got that. I, I, I, again, I don't mean to brag or act
like them, but I don't think this is all that crazy. Then you have to plank for a minute and a half.
You could do that. If you can do the push, if you do a hundred pushups a day, you can do those.
I do a hundred pushups on her sit-ups a day. So I, I can plank for 90 seconds, not a problem.
And it's not like such an A hole, but I'm, this isn't that
standing power throw backward medicine ball. Oh, so that's six to seven meters.
That's this old deal. You're doing one of these motions. So, uh, you know, I, I just called
you can do it. How far can you chuck it? Seven meters. I just called up this video that has all
this stuff that I'm looking at that sprint. The, uh, the, uh, well, anyway, sprint drag carry.
Yeah. So I saw that the, the, the standing power throw. Yeah, big old medicine ball.
Well, how, how, how, how have these? Probably 25 pounds. Okay. I can't throw a 25 pound ball 40 feet.
Then two mile run minimum 22 minutes. Are you kidding me? I could do that backwards.
You can't run an 11 minute mile for two miles. No, I could do that.
I'm sorry. I think I would pass it. I'd take it back. That's 20 feet on that medicine ball.
Not 40. The medicine ball. I don't know. I don't throw many medicine balls. No,
media. That's a tough thing. I think. Well, what's, I said, what's, I don't know the stupid
metric system? What's six to seven meters? What's that translate to three and a half feet?
It's like 25 feet. You can do that. 25 feet. You're throwing it like this way.
Well, it says backward medicine ball. So maybe, yeah, could it be over your head?
No, I think it's more this motion. Again, like backwards. This isn't on my video. That,
that one's not on my, I'm curious about that one. My back would never make it through this.
I call me crazy. Maybe I'm way off. But if that's it,
that's the whole thing. Sign them up. That's it. And he said the average recruit passes these
stats after completing base. So I get to go through all basic training, train for this.
And then I think I could do it today. I think. Why am I getting an ad? I pay YouTube for no ads.
It's a scam. You have to re-sign in, Jim. This is a new thing. They sign you out now.
So you have to re-sign in every time. Yeah. Got a lot of money. 19 bucks. You'll never
spend any better money. They end date you with so many ads now. For the year. Yes. Oh, that's
no a month. I'm out. Jim Murray's right about this. I'll sit through a 10-second ad. Big deal.
Oh, it's behind you. So it is. You take the medicine ball. Yeah. And it's, uh, that's tough. So
that one I can't tell you. I, you know, but if I spend some time on it, that's a back injury
way to happen. If it's at the, if it's at the same level as these other things,
uh, got a lot of these Felgorn, Mass, Math, Brian writes in at this success,
success rate for ABS challenges of 50%. That doesn't mean you win some and you lose some.
And therefore the whole thing is useless. Without ABS teams would lose those decisions 100%
of the time. ABS establishes a uniform standard that is less subjective and leads to more
accurate calls. So those 50. It's not like it washes out to nothing. I see. So I get that. I
don't know if I exactly meant that. But what I mean is what I mean is the ump is as right as
he is wrong. That's what I mean. Right. Right. I know. I know what you meant. You're going to get more
correct. Right. You're going to get more correct calls because 50% of 50 cents better than zero
percent. I understand that. But the point is the ump is right half the time anyway. I mean,
you know what I mean when I say this? Yes, I know what you mean. It's just not just the the
the correction rate isn't high enough for pitches half inches off the block. For me to say we got
to have this. So, but I guess that's personal opinion. I'm anti-replay. You can be pro replay. I just,
I don't need it. Yeah, Mass, this does not look good for the back. I'm waiting. I'm not doing this.
Do you know what? That thing, the medicine ball ball. That's a bad injury way to happen. So that
thing's probably about 25, 30 pounds. And watch how far you're supposed to throw this damn thing
behind your back like this. Do you lower spine? How the hell with that? What do you?
I'm gathering 25 pounds probably. It's less than 25. I get a shot. I mean, it's like 10 maybe.
You know what? I take it back. I can't throw a 10 pound ball that. Anyway, the final word comes
away right now. It's Fulgar here now on Velgar and Mass. It's the final word recapping this
four-hour show in four minutes, which leads to the question. Doesn't really need to be four-hour
as long. No. The final word brought to you by Town Fair Tire. If you're looking for the best
deal on tires, only one place to go. It's Town Fair Tire. The best braces and great free services.
Nobody beats Town Fair Tire. Nobody. I take it. We have a week of review, J. Stu. We do. All right.
Jackson Smith and Jigba has been signed to a four-year contract Murray. What was the total value?
168.6. Yeah. Yeah, that's electric. Pete and Pembroke, you're next with a thought on the red trucks.
Hey guys, quick, uh, two quick thoughts. One is what's going on with Christian Campbell?
Not here in too much. Is he just trash? And then that's, oh, that's where I'm pulsing.
Uh, 617, 717. That's zero to the fans. That's zero to the players. Zero to the reps.
Zero 98 five. You want to tell us to f off. You can do so too with all the Fs being thrown around.
No, I agree. And the other thing, Mike, is if you look at the lineage of coaches, they have
independent of, uh, Cuban Davis. Okay. Roy Williams, Dean Smith. Oh, god. Like you aren't talking
about royalty in college basketball. Roy and, you know, serious royalty. Not some, you know,
S bum prints, you know, was freaking, uh, selling, uh, you know, secrets to somebody,
you know, but you get the idea not to turn it into that. The, I actually have no idea what you're
talking about. Prince Andrew with, um, yeah, what does Prince Andrew have to do with this?
He gave Epstein some information. Yeah, Prince Andrew and I know about Prince Andrew and Epstein.
I don't understand what that has to do with UNC basketball. It really doesn't know. I'm talking
about serious royalty. Like, what was that? Like the, I don't, I don't really even know. Paul on the
cape is a thought on the NFL referee situation. Go ahead, Paul. Yeah. Sorry. I mean, shift
that sports on you guys, but I agree with Mike. Is everybody gagging? What are you showing now?
Get the duty out of your mouth. Can I just tell you something about? Okay, only five and a half
innings in already of the season. Caleb Durbin kind of sucks. He's got a slow bat. He had
dribblers all over the place and he just whipped on a ground bottle left field. Sorry, I don't
know if they charge him with an error because nobody gets an error anymore, but the guy doesn't look
like much of a player to me. Mike. It's early, Barthie. I'm going to let that go. I've been telling
you about Caleb Durbin. We'll just see how it plays out. Massey's tears. Massey's tears. Painful.
Massey's tears. He and Dundari should be a weapon. Massey's tears. Forcey enemy just for render.
Listen to this. Massey's tears. Tears. Tears.
Here's Matt and Milton. Go ahead, Matt. What do you got? Guys, we got Red Sox first pitching
about one hour in Cincinnati. You know, they have a fantastic opening day with a parade.
Here we are talking about Jason Tatum, David Tosser Knock. Let's talk about the Red Sox
opening day. Go ahead. Go ahead and talk about it. Go ahead and talk about it. What do you
want to talk about? Go. Just talk about the game. F you. Yeah, that was appropriate.
All right. That's going to do that. Do we just talk about the game? F you. I shouldn't
swear at the collars, but that that was annoying. Joe Murray and then Celtic something like this.
No, no, no. Baseball. What am I saying? Roundtable Friday, baby. It's the first baseball
Joe circles. I mean, Roundtable. Yeah, he was speaking of talk radio people or media people
who could be a military weapon. Millican, Macatum and Brear in the same way. Oh my god,
just start talking. You could chemical warfare. Yeah, you could suffocate the entire USSR.
Just suck all the oxygen out of the room. Millican's here tonight with Matt McCarthy,
but it just occurred to me. If we put Millican with those other two guys, holy crap,
the people passing out all over the place. That needs no more introduction. The baseball roundtable
comes you in about five minutes first of work from our sponsors. And then that's that. Have a
great weekend, everyone. Talk to you Monday or two. See you. Just talk about the game. F you.
