Detroit Tigers starter Chris Paddack lasted just 3.2 innings allowing 3 earned runs, but Detroit Tigers bullpen pitched 5.1 scoreless innings including Kyle Finnegan preventing the Kansas City Royals from scoring in the bottom of the 7th after inheriting a two on, one out jam. Detroit Tigers end a 4-game skid and win the first game of the series.
