Kerry Carpenter smashed a 3-run homer to help seal the win, while Riley Greene hit a go-ahead two run single in the 5th. Detroit Tigers avoid the sweep at the hands of the New York Mets and will enjoy an off day tomorrow before the Chicago White Sox come to town for a 3-game weekend series.
