TikTok introduces voice comments and simplified polls

1:01As reported by Security Week, the AI giant points to customers' own computers rather than any breach at Anthropic, telling affected users that info-stealer malware had harvested active clawed login sessions from their own PCs. Once inside affected accounts, attackers could burn through usage limits and made unauthorized clawed charges. If your usage limits look like they refilled and then drained while you weren't using clawed, this was likely the cause, the email reads. In response, Anthropic said it forced signouts of affected sessions, remove the card on file, and refunded any extra usage charges it tied to the activity. While this stops the stolen sessions, Anthropic told affected users that this doesn't remove the malware. In mobile news, Motorola just announced another crystal-laden addition of the Razor. The flip phone has been adorned with 35-hand positions who are Ravsky crystals and a 32-facet crystal on the hinge to give it a signature look.

2:02This appears to be a slightly fancier version of last year's collaboration between Motorola and Soravsky, though, in a new color way. This version of the Motorola Razor comes in Pantone Media-Right, otherwise called Black. Last year's addition was white. The new model includes a quilted leather-inspired texture and it ships with a clear case that protects the design without hiding its beauty. Otherwise, the internals haven't changed. The phone will be available on September 10th. Early purchasers get a free pair of Moto Buds 2 Plus earbuds that have also been soaked in Soravsky crystals and a base Moto Watch. Tiktok just announced a few nifty tools that could improve the overall user experience. First up, people will soon be able to make voice comments under any video. These messages can be up to 60 seconds long and anyone can tap to listen.

3:06This could be a front-end little addition or it could turn the comment section into absolute chaos. We'll have to wait and see. These voice comments begin rolling out over the next month to users 18 and older. Creators can now whip up comment polls on one of their posts. These polls can display up to five options and creators can track results directly in the comment section. This is already available to global users. The platform has experimented with this in the past via stickers and during a live broadcast, but this seems like a straightforward rollout akin to polls found on other social media sites. Finally, there are a couple of updates involving photo comments. First of all, the platform now lets users upload live photos from their camera roll. These are images that include a second or two of motion and sound that come from immediately before and after pressing the shutter button. This feature is available right now. Tiktok is also increasing the number of photos people can post at once in the comment section. Soon, users will be able to post up to nine images in a
