Tim Curry, the actor who made Frank-N-Furter from the Rocky Horror Show a worldwide cult figure, has died aged 80 after a long illness. The British actor created the iconic role in the show's very first performance in 1973, going on to star in Home Alone 2, The Muppets' Treasure Island, and as Pennywise the clown in Stephen King's It. His career was cut short by a stroke in 2012, which left him in a wheelchair until his death.
