The belief that Lyme Disease was created in a lab on Plum island at the Plum Island Animal Disease Center. I mean, let's not just assume that Lyme Disease has been around for thousands of years. That would be ridiculous. It's clearly a biological weapon created by an evil genius in order to wreak havoc on the battlefield by causing a rash and vague symptoms like fatigue and joint disease weeks to years after exposure. Oh wait, that is ridiculous. Welcome to some of the most ridiculous conspiracy theories that could only be imagined in the USA.
