Free agency in the NFL has slowed down more than a week in,

with teams now eyeing the upcoming draft.

The Tennessee Titans started with the second most cap space behind the Raiders,

but they blew past everyone by spinning the most at 300.

$18 million on contracts.

They've also signed the second most players, 19 in total, just behind the dolphins 21.

The Titans have ranked in the top 10 spenders the last two off seasons, too.

Yet they've managed only six wins each time.

This year's aggressive moves stand out, especially since they've outspent the Raiders by nearly

$29 million for the top spot. History shows promise here.

Since 2019, every team leading free agency spenders has jumped their win total by at least

three games the next season. That puts the Titans on track for at least six wins,

and fans are buzzing about the potential turnaround.

They target a key weaknesses and added familiar faces for the new coaching staff,

much like the Patriots did last year by bringing in Mike Raible.

Of the 17s with three plus win gains since 2019,

six play in the AFC, same as Tennessee.

If these signings click as trends suggest,

this could signal a real shift for the Titans heading into next season.
