Titans Eye Ex-Giants Guard Van Roten

On March 24th, the Tennessee Titans went on a spinning spree in the first wave of NFL free agency,

but they still have big gaps inside their offensive.

Line, they have not brought back Wright Guard Kevin Zitler, who shone bright in 2025.

At center, they picked up veteran Austin Schlotman to battle sophomore Jackson Slater for the starting spot.

General manager Mike Borgonzi needs to weigh resigning Zitler as his top choice there.

With no fresh news on that front, the team should scout other free agents too.

One standout is former New York Giants guard Greg Van Roten, who remains available after not re-upping with his old team.

Van Roten, logged heavy minutes last season, playing every single snap for the Giants.

He kept things clean, giving up just three sacks and drawing only three penalties, per pro football focus grades.

What makes him intriguing for Tennessee is his tie to the new staff.

Offensive coordinator Brian DeBall coached him as headman in New York, through part of 2025.

Line coach Carmen Bersillo worked directly with him there and earlier with the Raiders.

The Titans already grabbed other ex-Giants like Wandel Robinson and Daniel Belinger this offseason.

If Zitler slips away, Van Roten offers a seamless fit to shore up their right guard spot

and keep the momentum going.
