Titans Reunite with Thomas, Boosting Defense

On March 12th, the Tennessee Titans are stacking their defensive line with players head coach Robert

Salah already knows well.

In a recent trade with the Dallas Cowboys, they picked up defensive tackles Solomon

Thomas plus a 2026-7th round draft pick, number 225 overall for their own number 218

pick.

Thomas goes way back with Salah from his early days as a third overall pick with the San Francisco

49ers, where Salah was defensive, coordinator.

Through their time together on the New York Jets until last season, over 16 games with

two stars for Dallas last year, Thomas posted 27 tackles, three tackles for loss, two

quarterback hits, and one pass break up, mostly coming off the bench behind a crowded

front.

Now in Tennessee, he reunites with ex-Jets like John Franklin Myers and Germaine Johnson

plus their former defensive line coach while joining new.

Physicians like Jordan Elliott for depth behind stars, Jeffrey Simmons and Franklin Myers,

who signed a three-year $63 million deal.

This keeps Salah's pattern of leaning on trusted talent, aiming to build a solid rotation

that could boost the Titans' defense right out of training, camp.
