Hello everybody and welcome to TMS. This is The Morning Stream for September 14th, 2026.

I'm Scott Johnson. That's Brian Ebett. We're just about to wrap up the first half of the month. Yay. How's that feel? I mean, it feels too fast. Is what it feels, Scott? I thought August felt fast. Yeah. Lee. I'm starting to think that this is just the noon. This is how it feels now. The noon normal is, uh, yeah. We're going to say this in October. Yeah. And then we'll do it again in November. And it'll feel worse in November somehow. Right. Right. I don't like it. I don't like it either. Slow down time. Slow down. You move too fast. Something, something in the wet grass. How's that song going? I got to make the morning last. Oh, that's it. Kicking down the cobblestones. Something, something. Feeling groovy. Groovy. There it is. It's a good, good stoner music. Good. Good. Guys, I have a warning for you. If you see this, oh, did I not pull it up? Damn it. I thought I transferred it. Let me pull this real fast. Did you get my photos, too, by the way? No, well, where are you going? No, but are they in texture? No, the TMS, TMS discord. Oh, super easy to pull.

OK. No problem. Our little chat discordia. Me in the lame, the lame sauce that I am, I forgot to do that and that. OK, there we go. OK. And then that. OK, so let me pull these up. This will only take a moment. I was at this, we talked about it pretty sure a little bit, but I went to this kid's fair for Van in his school. And it's all just various kinds of booths and crafts and stuff. And it all goes to support the school. Please, let me know your story. Yeah. Yeah. Like activities and trips. And I don't know what all they're doing over there. And so lots of fun. Like here's Phoebe with some cotton candy being a dork. You know, wearing her brothers' van shirt, because they didn't think of it with the fans on it. We buy it because that's his name. Yeah, of course. Just dumb stuff like that. But here is, oh, I forgot I took a picture of it. Here are those kids selling those, those crappy. I've got blocked the kids out because I don't want to put them under fire here. Nope, nope, good call. Oh, look at this terrible coloring books. Just awful. The first glance and you go, oh, yeah, I up the wazoo. And I didn't take a picture of their dad guy behind him.

I should have. Yeah, then you could have seen that tan I was talking about. Right. But anyway, we go to this thing and I saw something kind of horrifying and I wish I could have filmed it. But I got there and my phone out too late. Also, it was one of those times where your phone for whatever reason your phone thinks that it's still or that you're in the car and it says, are you driving around, you know, that whole thing? So like made it even worse. Oh, why didn't it send? Gosh dang damn. Okay, let's try that one more time. Gosh dang damn. Gosh dang damn it. All right, here it is, found it finally. So this is purely visual for the video people. Sorry, audio people, I tried to describe it. But there was a cotton candy machine, the one that we saw Phoebe's thing from. And little wisps of it, as you can see, fall to the grass at the base of the cotton candy. Sure, yeah, that's normal. It's fine. That stuff blows around like it's in one of those catch every dollar bill you can in the giant clear tube. Exactly. And the whole the whole place smells a little like

sweet like marshmallow roasting and you know, it's a fun vibe, whatever. I don't eat this sort of thing anymore, but we got we got in line for the kiddos and we're in there. And then some of this is whisping onto the ground. And right before this batch fell on the ground is when I saw the most horrifying thing. These feral kids from nowhere. And I mean like they came out of the I mean we're outside but came out of the woodwork it felt like. And dive bombed these wisps of freaking of course they did. Free free cotton candy on the ground. Yeah. In the grass. And they just like and ate it all up and I tried so hard to get them on camera and I couldn't do it. I'll see you shouldn't film people's kids but you know I wanted to show I wanted to show the horrificness and I don't know whose parents were around her if they're around at all but my gosh dude that's disgusting. That is although I mean those are just resting on the top of the grass. They're not down in the dirt.

They've been stepped on or that's true or jammed in or I just don't know what's happened there like some recess somewhere some kid puked there or some kid. Oh yeah could be sure. They who knows what kind of chemicals they're putting on the grass. Yeah open crow. These are the things I think. Just like yeah sure. Isn't as nasty but anyway it's a fun time. We had a good time there and watch out for those kids. Also when we got there the first thing we hear and there's a big crowd of people coming through the gates and the gates are either to get a ticket and a wristband or oh I still have that mark on me from the other thing I went to anyway. Like keep thinking that something wrong with my skin but it's a stamp. It's a stamp. It's a handstand. It's okay you're okay. Yeah everything's okay and then the other line was for volunteers. Well it got a little bunged up early on. We got there early and suddenly we hear bam bam bam bam. Big loud kind of like gunshot sounds and we went we're at a school. It's full of kids. The outdoor place is just this closed in thing with all this stuff

and I'm like you know every parent there including me gets just this feeling of oh no like you're ready for the worst. Ready to hit the dirt cover the kids whatever. Yeah. This freaking guy doing the balloon machine over there couldn't figure out how to stop before it's too late. So he kept popping balloons. So he'd have like two on there once doing two tanks and yeah. Bam. It's like because he's not able to pay. Have you ever tried doing that where like oh Kim I'll grab you a soda tune you go to those fountain machines and you get ice for one and then while you're getting ice for your other cup you're putting that first one under the the diet coke or whatever and filling that one up then you're getting ice and then you end up with too much ice and you're not paying attention to the diet coke and it's for flowing. That's what that guy's doing. Exactly. Too many balloons at once. Your two brains your halves of your brains can't much as we think we're good at this sort of thing we're kind of bad at doing the two at once and that's what he was doing. Yeah. And he kept doing it so it was like four or five of these and they were kind of rapid like bam bam or pop up.

Yeah. And it made everybody just go. Oh yeah. We were all on yeah we were all on like serious alert and that freaking dummy piss me on. Oh my god. And then we decided to go somewhere where I got this. Check this out. This is kind of this. This is almost like a mystery date. We didn't plan it that way but Kim didn't tell me where she was taking me. But she took me to the out of these in curiosity expo. Yeah. Where I got this hand sculpted little skull man. That's cool. Yeah. This local guy. I like the color on that. Yeah that blue is cool right. It's like turquoise almost but he had a ton of these skulls that's all he does. That's kind of the divide there. Everybody has some weird thing they do. He's this older guy that lives out here and he had one that half of it looked like Eddie the Beast from Iron Maiden. Oh really? Yeah. And I go and he looked about I don't know. 15 years older than me or something. And I said I said Eddie the Beast from like Iron Maiden and he goes. Yeah man. And he puts a hand up like this. He goes yeah. And I go oh sweet I recognize it in high school.

He was like he was the bomb and goes oh man. Kill me. We all drew up on our notebooks in high school. Yeah. This guy was like an old schooler. Anyway so I this one of the things I got was there was this cool school but they had all this taxidermy and all this weird stuff. Even a taxidermy clash he like sign up for. Lots of glass jars with fetuses of weird animals in it or weird creatures. Yeah like like frogs all splaid out and preserved in their gut form and stuff like that. This is just some these are two beetles because I thought that was the least defensive thing I could show on camera. Was the two two non surviving beetles? Yeah these are the two that are still well the two that are in the grave. This is how we preserve their memory. But yeah 180 bucks for this thing for these two beetles. Anyway we didn't buy that obviously I was like no way but they had all these animals and like little furry animals and rabbits and stuff and most of these booths claim that these are like roadkill or.

Right you mean they're like you know not not killed for this but died some other way and they they died of natural causes and then they got the bodies. But some of these places were pretty sketch Brian like there was one booth that had a bunch of whole bunch taxidermy like little angry fox heads and posable Gallagher full size alligators and junk like this a full dog skeleton or something and it and I got closer to that one and the stink coming off of that booth. Really? Yeah that's bad there should not be if you're taxiderming right. Yeah that's I mean I feel like I feel like perhaps whatever right means they were they were wrong they were not doing it right and it was like a skunky dead carcassy nasty smell like you're at a you were at a taxidermist itself right where they do all the work and everything yeah and I got in and I went Kim come get a whiff of this and she goes not on my life and she came she just walked past

but it was foul dude so I made me wonder some of these guys I don't know how well they vet them or whatever yeah um but what I really like so that was you know take it or leave it you probably people aren't gonna like all the smelly animals and stuff but the art and most of them are locals amazing stuff dude people I've never seen incredible stuff like just really dark twisted business which I you know I'm known to prone to do here and there and um just really like to talk to a bunch of artists that was a lot of fun this guy did these sponge bob takes which I thought were awesome look at that that's cool so nasty decayed out looking thing there's Patrick and all gross he was really cool I talked to a guy who uh makes tabletop games as well as the art forum and can try to get him on a show and he was so excited he's like oh I've been on these other podcasts oh this one guy sculpts he takes old Maxwell House coffee cans from the 50s and then puts the Audrey to Audrey to and I'm and these were expensive as hell like I want to say

a thousand bucks or something for those anyway wow it was cool sure that's a pretty uh then on the way home we saw car with skyhawks name on it for no reason uh but it's an ask guy I was not him but he was thrilled to see it when I said I told him he was pretty sure uh yeah team I went to she took me on the mystery date to this back in 2021 I was just like looking up the photos I put up I thought this was familiar yeah yeah I forgot you went to this because Denver's in like two weeks and I was gonna say hey Brian's on your way to you but you've been to this thing we've been to this thing um not since 2021 though I'm kind of surprised we haven't because we had a great time um I just put a uh a shot uh that's cool yeah there's no it's gonna be all uh berries here oh no it's gonna be it's gonna be the weekend before berries here berry berry I'm pulling it up here here's the image Brian just posted yeah see this is a lot of it a lot of this stuff where it's like just jars of weird creatures in uh for melt for meltide

yeah and some of the people running the booths would not match the description of what I was seeing it would be like kind of a normal looking like a guy you'd see at Starbucks checking his watch and wait for his order yeah and then he's selling you know giant fish eyes and right squid feet and whatever so weird uh that's awesome though so you guys got up to some foolery too we did yeah I took Tina on a mystery date um every every time we go driving in the countryside we'll pass an alpaca farm and she'll just just you know gush over how cute they are just oh I want to go pet those alpacas or the llamas or whatever so I took her to an alpaca farm where you actually get to hand feed the uh the alpacas and um they come right up to you they give you a little as many bags of this feed as you want and these guys will come right up to you eat out of the palm of your hand Tina wasn't sure about the teeth with with uh um with her lymph nodes being gone in one side of

her body she's like if I get scratched or you know oh yeah oh yeah there's something on that side I'm done for so she started using this little plastic bowl they also can give you that uh to feed these guys oh that thing thing she's holding here yeah exactly it's like a little uh it's actually it's funny I think these are little rubber things that you use for poaching eggs you put a little oil in there put the egg in there and then let that float in boiling water and uh it makes it easy to poach the eggs I love that but uh how come these all look like teenage kids in high school with these haircuts right those haircuts yeah well we asked about that by the way the hair so when you share a llama or an alpaca or a llama you leave that um and that uh uh lead singer the pretenders uh uh kind of hairstyle up there on the top um and it's to show what the alpaca is for it so if you get a um if you get a yeah like this one I love how

they left the sides on this one yeah it's gonna say that is a choice man yeah really cute just freaking adorable but it's so that so that uh buyers can see what the what the first like so you share the rest of them yeah but you leave that so the buyer can say and they also don't like um being pet on the top of their head so you the first thing you want to do is dig your fingers into that hair and go you do you do you do the pecca yeah no you're not supposed to you um you can scritch them on the neck I took this one this guy was hanging out that crazy shot by the way it is this guy is just so freaking adorable it's good bokeh on that he knew how to he knew how to pose for the camera yeah he's grinning for you that's awesome yep that's cool it's just like a play just a farm that just a farm five minutes away from the house like it was uh perfect for this and uh it's tears like what time do we need to leave for uh mystery days and uh about five minutes to four then we went up there and then we uh got some pizza and salad at this place near us and uh

uh it was a it was a fun date and then came home and watched um weird tv show that i'll probably talk about on the film sack stop the substacked this uh dtf st. Louis oh it's so weird it is really weird it's good we watched the whole thing and loved it but yeah nobody nobody in there is phoning it in i mean freaking everybody is doing a great great job cartel in a cartelini um oh she's saying man she's freaking scary in this thing she is scary in this thing she's really hammering up a character maybe her uh her her uh crystal lake thing i'll be more of that she plays the mom right yeah jason for he's his mom yeah curious about that anyway but uh so came home watch that and uh had a nice little mystery date but uh uh yeah next month is her is she gets october we're gonna see what she comes up with nice the pressures on tina pressures on they also had goats by the way and the goats were coming up to us and looking at us with those weird eyes that they have oh i love a good goat goat eye yeah i'm into it it's like they're looking

wide-screened so we both saw goats years were alive the ones i saw were all dead and stuffed right yes very very very true and smell funny if i'm honest yeah well these goats i guess they didn't smell funny but you know there was poop around it was you can go to alpaca farm and not see a pile of poops that's true but it's the smell of life you know that's right exactly it's upward mobility you they got a point i love it i'm a fan i'm a fan of go poo all right guys look we do a fun thing here on mondays and uh you may be familiar with it we're gonna try it right now and we're gonna do that by playing this here song right here yes that's right it's time for us to play a little uh countdown monday morning countdown right do dogs at brains all that stuff uh we're gonna do with brine done away if he's willing hi brine done away oh hi scotton brine so his dogs have brains this week it's frogs it's frogs it's frogs it's two frogs have brains it was never dogs oh i mean it was dogs we stole it from them but yeah it's frogs it's frogs now uh hey we're

gonna play this game are you do you do podcast or have brains but no are you ready to play this game or am i the only one here ready to really put it on the line today um how about i say it like this i like it there you go do it that way that sounds like you're both ready for this day yeah we're both ready this is great although you sound like you're doing a mission impossible a little bit but that's fine it's totally fine maybe i'm not as real let me go back hold on a second i'll come back in about five minutes let me really all right we'll change up the pipes so good uh brine maybe we explain how this game works what we're doing yeah welcome to do frogs have brains countdown style trivia game i've got 20 questions across various subjects including science art entertainment history and more you guys are each can get 90 seconds to answer as many of those questions as you can but you know if you don't know an answer just say skip or pass to go to the next one uh while scat's answering his questions we're gonna put brine into a sound proof isolation booth so he can't hear scat's answers the player with the most correct answers after 90 seconds wins the prize for

their contestant and contestants have been pulled from our patreon supporters at patreon.com slash tms scat is playing for eric hence oh hello eric hence brine is playing for shan blue oh hi shan blue shan blue shan's are a regular at the table it's nice to see his name in our shirt yeah okay so uh here we go good luck brine we're gonna yeah we're gonna mute you you're gonna mute you really see you guys let's be honest yeah bye bye bye bye all right if this works i'm going to start the timer after i ask the first question and uh if you're ready here we go let's do it sometimes called the gravity grand prix what kids car race takes place every august in hilly ackren ohio oh uh this is the primordurby hmm when a weasel's brown coat turns white in winter what is the weasel called uh shit weasel in the 1960s iBM designed a new typing

to i think by what more common name do we know the viral disease infantile paralysis oh uh it's said what is hawk i pierces full name on mash Benjamin franklin pierce give you the ding on that one uh it started the timer over but let me let me add you a point here there we go and clear timer all right uh very good five points ricky jesus they were yes some tricky ones in there i feel good about that's my highest score so far in this game so i'll take it yeah it's very good let's get uh brain in here and see how he does pay well i show police one what next week we're gonna have a whole bunch of different ones in here sweet oh hi brine hello hello brine hi welcome back hi hi mark uh miss got got uh five and nine you got five nice good did well you got your work cut out for you uh if you're ready i will start the the timer

after i ask the first question you ready i'm ready okay sometimes called the gravity grand pre what kids car race takes place every august in hilly acran ohio uh uh uh panwood derby when weasel's brown coat turns white in winter what is the weasel called white white weasel in the 1960s i bm designed a new typing head to reduce jams and typewriters what shape was it uh there's a a orbital roundish nori al maliki took over as prime minister of which middle eastern country in made 2006 turkey who won the 1989 oscar for best actor in rainman uh destined hopman which two members are used in the binary system oh zeroes and once what is the eastern european suit made from meat beetroot and white cabbage called gross in what chess move are the rook and king used at the same time what damn created lake me the largest man made worse for in the u.s um the whover damn

what was astronaut buzz aldrin's real first name buzzard what name the turkest national hero whose honorary surname means father of the turks uh oh pass what how many crosses make up the union jack is it three more common name do we know the viral disease infantile paralysis uh pass good lord what was hot guy pierces first full name on mash hockey what do you call a beam that spans an opening supported by walls or columns I'll let you finish if you got this one um uh is it is a trust is it yeah uh yeah something like that uh uh oh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh joist is that it no no it's not but that's all right uh you still won here's uh let's go through some of these answers here um i accepted pinewood derby they're saying soapbox derby but i think they're pretty much it's always pinewood is we call it pinewood derby around here i've i've always

heard soapbox derby yeah i think it's it's probably regionally called different things uh when a weasel turns white he becomes an ermine or an ermine sermine white white weasel yeah a whole whole a whole other name for an animal that's weird yeah yeah all right uh in the 1960s you figured out that the ball typewriter uh all the all the letters yes it's wake all that's spun around yeah you've ever seen it's got it's i have seen it yeah i forgot that i didn't know was i be m though i don't i do yeah uh nori al ma leaky became prime minister of iraq the iraq um the eastern european suit made from meat beetroot and white cabbage it's delicious and it's called borched now borched oh okay so it's not gross okay it's not gross uh in the chess move you uh use the rook and the king kind of not really swapping places but they kind of jump over each other it's called castling oh never even heard the term weird uh buzz aldrin's real first name is edwin edwin aldrin well okay uh the turkish net and turkish national heroes named akka tur or ata turk

father of the turks three crosses make up the union jack um the viral disease infantile paralysis is known as polio uh polio uh you got benchal perks you know i know about the union jack why do you know that so we so we is always telling me is wrong in video games that we play so we really can tell you that oh yeah of course he's all that's upside down or all that doesn't have enough that's got too many i thought it was two right i mean it was only one off but still now it's like this cross cross cross yeah added yeah kind of and then a bean that spans an opening supported by walser columns is called a lintel or a header lintel a lintel i thought it was a support beam i guess it is right yeah i mean i thought trust was like that's what i would suggest was trust is like yeah see trust but that's not it uh well that brings us to the end of the game brine with six to scots five very close one man you get a victory pickle good job

and uh shan bloom is gonna get a couple victory pickles in the game of games meganoid and elderborn great games good but eric cance you're getting a copy of guns lugs rogue tactics all of these courtesy of grievous also quite good that second game or that third game you all won today as usual can you have a pistol whoops that's the wrong one nope that's me couldn't graduation there you go i get that one uh man i really thought i had it this time it's my highest score of five but i didn't get that that's i think that's my highest score as well mm-hmm now you got six now you have a new highest score is that the highest score ever scored i think so what's that bio cow explains i say biocar bio cow explains that pinewood is the car you make from a small block of wood sometimes you put a um a co2 cartridge in there to make it go yeah yeah yeah is that what's the one you get in oh oh i thought maybe they just called it pinewood so but it would have it kind of would have the same winter it would just be four to five right now right exactly yep exactly i'm not

yeah no change yeah kept kept kept everybody the same winners but uh yeah so that makes sense now that you say it i always something else i always because there's no i mean it's called the gravity grand prix i guess that's it is because the only thing propelling it is the hills and acronym when you said grabby grand prix i thought you were talking about the little in i don't know i thought it was because you still do the gravity thing because you got to do the weights i've only ever done the pinewood derby so yeah pinewood derby we didn't scout but the the it was actually you couldn't do the co2 thing unless you cheated so you had uh yeah so my dad did that as a joke i'm not to compete but to just like rip through the thing and other dads did it too but most of the time it was about those little lead pieces you would embed in the car and you couldn't exceed a certain weight and so okay yeah it was a whole thing but i thought they had the same name so that's why i said it because i knew what you meant i knew it was them in them you know like i just heard gravity and car and yeah unless those children are super teeny tiny

put them in a pinewood derby their big boxes for soap man if you can fit in them jeez right i don't think they do that anymore i don't think you buy your soap that way anymore no i don't think so either well keep the traditional live ohio acran uh well that's awesome congratulations to our winners you'll see those codes in your uh uh little private messages there in patreon today and uh watch for those big thanks for playing with us and uh brine done away you know you were all right today you did good no all i did great yeah i did great yeah both did good yeah i think we did all right i did a little better yeah that's all yeah i can accept that right showing like for one point yes yeah i was only i was i figured you'd beat me because i'm like when they asked the mass quit the mass question i was like yeah yeah i'm gonna i'm gonna miss that you know way yeah that one i became out of me like it was like second nature it was natural came right out of you yeah i watched a lot of mass growing up i think but now you know it's edwin ultran yeah i'm gonna remember that he still was right i'm not like remember that i

prefer beep ultran yeah i said i said beef brion or done away yeah that's great i said i said it would i say but buzzard is the buzzard buzzard buzzard yeah buzzard buzzard he's still living or is he sefidieta pet says he's still alive oh yeah he's still around boy the number one search when i searched for it was buzz aldrin's death oh gosh and the second most common one is buzz aldrin's deathbed confession that's just some people trying to get some taken-dirt landing conference confirmation but he's like what he's got to be almost a hundred this dude i would think so yeah born in 1930 he's almost as old as the moon in this at this point he's probably still in he's in his 90s and bruhf is born in the 30s yeah 96 96 yeah that's pretty old it's pretty old yeah a good nice ripe old age for but when he punched that guy rooted for him and i'll do it again yeah uh done away we're gonna do you see each other again Wednesday when we play another game here we got other stuff that day too we'll talk more about it Wednesday when you get here but in the meantime would you do me one favor and that is oh my gosh all right he's out that's the end of that

yeah thank the lord on high uh a reminder if you guys have games sitting around that you got from a humble bundle or you just need to unload them or whatever we're not short or anything right now but it's just a good reminder to send them on in you can send them directly to Brian and I via discord or email either one of us it doesn't matter we just paste them into this dock and then we get to them and if you're not going to use them great place for them to go so do it all right i think that'll do it for that how about we do a little bit of this right here love it love that idea right here well what do you recommend hello everybody this is recommendels we have in the line with this one Nicole Spagnolo who's joining us all the way from Azura how's it going can you hear me yeah where are you yeah you in a car no i'm in the office oh you're on a weird room mic or something like a no i'm

using my my supposedly awesome headphones that i got from apple oh you sound pretty good it doesn't i'm not sure it's piping through there though it might be using a laptop my tap which you think you're you're oh i guess if they're in your ears you're not going to tap it i'm just i'm just no we can hear we can hear live spagnolo tech support god yeah i love it i love it she doesn't have to yell mark she can just say it cuz it's right there yeah yeah yeah i'm put input oh there it is hi hello i see it switched but i don't hear you now i think it's his ear buds they went over to your ear yeah it's on his AirPods so mark with you marks recently yeah enjoy let's do comic dorks let's go here we go i love this two of the most technical technically aligned people i know but we always end up with

Nicole uh my kishu's no cracks right i don't want it to ever change this is not me no definitely not no yeah yeah yeah yeah i don't get to hear me plus we hear you a little we hear you but i don't think you hear us oh no you can hear us okay yeah we still hear we hear you on uh marks air but your AirPods i think because they're definitely not on your head oh wait that might be better hello is that better no it's still like it's like the room one but it's fine uh still the room my it'll hold this one this one's way better though it sounds yeah well it's better than what we have previously this looks good don't uh don't go change it yeah don't go change and he said yeah this will work yeah we'll just hear we'll hear all the farts and stuff if you make those that's right yeah we'll hide those no all right well this works just fine why are you in Google settings it's okay sorry technical issues with Nicole yeah it usually he's been he might be right because uh if you're in chrome chrome it's it's chrome taken whichever mic you tell to use in the

little settings thing oh yeah i am in chrome yeah it's fine though chrome's actually the best for hot for the quality it's just sometimes it's fiddly with the choose them on mic it is anyway it doesn't matter because we're happy we have you here and it's recommend it's time let's do it let's do some recommendels it's that time of the month everybody we watched some streaming stuff and we think you guys might like what we watched and today we're gonna start with Brian because that's the tradition so Brian start us off yes i watched a limited series on apple tv seven episodes and really really enjoyed it and we'll talk about it after here we go something i need you to move for me for us you didn't it it wasn't easy left just a little off the top over time it was very disciplined did she know this was on me i guess is what she and i got put away his people did the accounting discovered the deficit he's bringing her to answer for it

it's okay no it's not okay they're going to come after you that's not my concern right now me they're going to come after me we're ahead of them we i am not okay apparently i am way behind this takes care of both of us for the rest of our lives you know they're gonna kill us right this is martial givens and furiosa go to town or that's right exactly what it is cool uh yeah that's on your teal of joy and Tim the elephant uh father and daughter in the tv show lucky on apple tv plus now he's just tv right now they they finally dropped the plus and said yeah we're we don't care if people think you know they get confused with the device versus the tv uh they do i want yeah right maybe i'll just call it the same thing exactly um yeah on your teal of joy plays lucky uh the daughter of a con

man who's kind of taught her everything he knows he's in jail he's uh incarcerated but always that was that conversation from a jail visit a flashback uh oh oh uh that one I think actually that is from a jail visit but there's some flashback um conversations as well and more got you later on um in a bending plays her mother-in-law uh her his ex-wife um and William fickner oh just so oh i didn't know he's in this i love him he's good and he he plays one of my favorite fickner characters of all time he's really really good at that that's great i never tire that guy he's so cool this is your your on the lamb series it is like she's constantly running trying to get away from a net bending who basically just wants to take her out get the money back that uh to Timothy all fans stole and um and uh get the money back by any means necessary even working with

some some shady folks that kind of would give uh John ham's Fargo uh ranch or run for its money it's it's uh really tense at times the stuff that they do and and man there's one guy who's the guy it's uh is that Eric Lane's Lang Steven Lane no Eric Lang I think let me look at a photo of this guy he plays kind of the no no no you know Eric Lang though um this is the guy he was uh red zinsky on last um he was in brand new cherry flavor as the really slimy oh yeah uh uh studio head he's a me I love that guy he is really good yeah um yeah who is the I don't have qualified in time to to worry about it but there's a uh another guy who always plays this kind of menacing character and he's really really good um but uh yeah no this is this is great seven

episodes it's a quick watch but it's a it's a an intense one thing after another watch so it is a constant like all right take a breath but just really quickly because the next episode is going to kind of pick up right where I left off she starts off in Vegas and has to make her way across the desert um but she's she's picked up a lot of things from her dad on how to get out of these situations like like that shot you're looking at right there where she's in the trunk of a car how she can get out of this one well she looks she looks good getting out of a car in a trunk most of us would look so bad in a trunk I know no she she looks she looks better in a trunk than most of us do on our best days yeah did you did you guys watch the meal with her uh did not yes I missed this I have not seen it but I have I've read lots of Wikipedia and I've seen clips so I feel like I got the gist yeah it's obvious you know it's definitely a um symbolism for classes in society

and stuff like that but um it's got your knucks and Furiosa together again and uh um uh and and Ray finds yeah I mean good cast right really really good cast it's uh who's that wasn't it a famous director famous ish um oh good question I don't know let's see uh let's see I know trying to I still even though I haven't seen the movie yeah I still don't understand how Ray finds has this staff that is just so devoted to him like he's like a michael and star like uh like uh you know a highly regarded chef oh it's the private private island it's the mic melon melon he did he was he directed a ton of succession shameless game of thrones he's just known for like being like very prolific like a tv guy director chef okay the scene with her at the very end always makes me want to cheeseburger

yeah no it's it's another foodie film god was there what I talked about recently it's like a chef with favaro oh yeah and Roy Choi there's some some films that you like watch and in addition to getting a really good story you come out of that thinking I want to make that freaking grilled cheese sandwich that that they just made I can sort of do something oh my god right I know you guys just talking about it I'm ready for a good yeah I'm trying to remember what so it was something that I recently recommended or talked about maybe it was a film sector or something like that that had a big foodie component component to it and uh or a tv show or something like that but ding it yeah that's the susceptible apparently to those kinds of things well that's good so you would uh is that I would recommend lucky for like a heist movie if you had to give it a genre or whatever it is I mean it's an on the lamb movie it's not like a you know planning a heist kind of you know we have to get into this safe kind of thing it's more like a I have

to get away and then pull a con uh that that aspect of it is kind of high-steed okay all right so yeah yeah I'm kind of uh I was all in anyway I was gonna see this at some point but yeah it's good to hear it's good you and you and Kim would definitely enjoy it it's it's a it's a good crime thriller that you don't have to worry about um all right well how are they gonna do a second is there going to be a second season are they you know nope it's a limited series they just planned for seven episodes and one and done um it's got to be better than the gorge which is the last thing I saw her in and I didn't like the gorge the gorge bum yeah it was a bummer it had some had some good moments but uh yeah it's a really neat concept I'll say that it was a neat concept and also apple tv and a little bit of a mist up from i agree uh rare rare mist stuff it's like like it's not that it's not bad it's just like I don't know I don't know what to call it the two main characters what's his name and her a great

like there's chemistry there all that stuff worked it's just when they filled in on the thing it got weird I don't know it's the the the maverick kid um the uh the hellsack guy's name yeah what is his name drummer the drum movie with jk sevens whiplash oh yeah that's that's my old seller I keep here and he's might be done with everything because he inherited like five hundred million dollars from something some family connection to some business or something oh yes the his family invented the automated teller that's not what it is isn't really what's the name after them yet uh it's not named after the person at the bank it's named after their last name teller I didn't know that that must be it I made the whole thing upskip all right you were being very genuine about it what a jerk yeah I uh I think whatever it is though he it seems off it seems to me maybe not true because he got eight upcoming movies I think he may have just been some bullshit so he just stockpiled or something didn't he do warm bodies no that was nickel's household yeah that was the other guy in the menu

I kind of oh that was next I was thinking yeah yeah yeah different dude but uh not same you know you get same general generation you know yeah I'd watch him together one was uh a mr fantastic that we're trying to forget and uh the other one is uh a lex luther that did a pretty damn good job pretty damn good I really liked him as a lex I did too I keep thinking we might see him pop through a lanterns or yeah it's not a spoiler to say something hasn't happened on lanterns right that's not a spoiler no I don't think it is yeah you know I'm realizing what is a spoiler though is um is looking ahead when you look at a show you're gonna watch looking ahead and seeing how many episodes it is because that aforementioned dt f st Louis um if you go in thinking it's you know it may be three episodes or two episodes or short series then the stuff that they lead you to believe in the first episode you know says oh crap but then you're thinking well this

is a seven episodes there's no way that this is as cut and dry as that or they'd have nothing to do for the next six episodes yeah especially when you know it's a one off two it's important right is that St. Louis show does that have Jason Bateman in it it does yeah why is he like obsessed with Missouri because it's oh is arc yeah I don't know that you obsessed with yeah what's your deal didn't you move there because of Ozark you're like I want to go there oh that's right because he looks like Jason Bateman looks like a you know a Midwest kind of dude sure you know there might be something to it I don't know maybe he maybe he's got an affinity for it what is what is the st. Louis show because I haven't even watched it it is a drug no it's sex it's sexy times yeah it's about a it's about it's about an app that that married people can use to find quick hookups and it's called DTF st. Louis and but you'd gather from the show that there are only four people on it on that app yeah

and you and it's weird man is a weird movie or show it is a weird show it's good but it's weird yeah David Harbor is is also really good very odd there are a number of famous people that have come from st. Louis that's true st. Louis's I could name at least two the Colse Bagnolo mark spagnolo you may have heard of him um no who who would you I know there are I can probably dig down and find him Kevin Kevin Klein Kevin Klein he looks like a Missouri guy he does look like a Missouri John Goodman yeah he actually has a house I've heard in Winsville somewhere nice Chuck Berry Kevin Klein born in St. Louis, Missouri 1947 yeah all right I think there's a lot more than I mean Nelly Nelly yeah who can't who can forget the name yeah yeah yeah we know the we know the one

that's good yeah all right well let's go so again this is where is it Brian Lucky Lucky is on Apple TV all right excellent Nicole let's get tears what do you got if you're brand new to this segment it's always tangents mm-hmm all we have you know we try to have a structure but it never really works so my recommend told you said somebody already recommended it Scott did I thought we had but we don't we didn't yeah somewhere I talked about in some detail we talked about it on some show and I could not tell you where I don't remember where we talked about it but anyway so we we canceled Netflix yeah my son wanted to watch I don't know what show so my so Mark decided to start Netflix back up with ads and holy crap is it awful hmm but Netflix with ads oh my god it's the worst it's the worst it's pretty bad I tried to watch the Mr. T documentary

it's only 48 minutes long and I swear to god it had like four different chunks of ad stops in it yeah and I'm like why is this documentary up so many whereas I watch a movie like the one I'm gonna recommend it only had the ads in the beginning yeah and when you pause it now there's a huge ad yeah there's there's uh pos ads they do oh really I want to say paramount at the and there's some other one than where you have a free tier like that maybe he cocted that or or free cocted that yeah where when you pause you got like a liberty mutual ad that you could even choose like it turned into a trivia game or something yeah it was very weird yeah I don't like it um well uh yeah you know who gets it's funny because two bees like all ads like there is no page here they have less ads than the Netflix with ads does really yeah and you're paying for it

it's aft aft yeah everybody in the chats like you know use this browser I'm not watching Netflix on my computer I'm watching it on my TV yeah what are you an animal oh wait I watch a lot of I watch a lot of stuff on my computer I don't I don't like computer I just there's some I don't know I have like I have a flow and like I have to be in a mode so like when I watch this movie I like to experience movies probably I mean I'm I'm older I'm older so I have my you've got your routine I get it yeah yeah where my kids probably have no problem watching on a computer or on a uh uh what they drop with an iPad some sort of portable device did you um when you sign up for the Netflix with ads by the way did you use T-Mobile I get it for free no are you on T-Mobile okay oh well oh you're so offended why are you so offended by T-Mobile my goodness my gosh yeah I like T-Mobile

you hate the color pink they're the best they're the best carrier I've ever had you must be sucking really like them yeah uh real quick uh you missed a bunch of names mark twain Walt Disney T.S. Eliot Laura Ingalls Wilder who wrote all them books uh I like luring goes milder Brad yeah me too and tell her I like when she was working the Brad Pitt freaking Don Cheetle Jennifer Scher you know she'll cha cha cha cha she'll chappell chapel Roan uh M&M he was he grew up in in Detroit but he was born in St. Joseph Missouri Cheryl Crowell uh Zizza I don't know who that is Cheryl Crowell Crowell that like Dave Dave Crowell Jesse James and Harry S Truman my lord yeah yeah all right sorry I just want to give Missouri it's full uh it's full deal there uh all right let's get to what you watched that I'm sure we've talked about but never recommend told what is it or should we play the thing first how do you want to do it what do you want to do yeah go ahead it's it's on Netflix it's a movie uh I didn't

really you know all I thought about was a documentary that we'll talk about after and I was like is that what this is but it wasn't it's actually a movie uh go ahead and play the game all right Matube is in St. Joseph's right now as well he lives there that's cool really a guy in our chat yeah yeah uh all right here we go let's play humans for the most part are inept creatures talk about not touching some random kids come I'm not asking you to chew it just get it off the floor from this side of the tank I've seen it all I suppose you're the person they hired to take over for me I just I really need this job circular motion's not up and down of all the humans I suppose I mind the cleaning lady the least there is a right way and a wrong way to do things she's insane it's all she has and oh my lovely she's been through a lot the way she lost her son to my son so my study to tell uh coal meany doing full coal meany accent I loved it so much so

this is remarkably bright creatures uh you heard Sally Field who I still love I love her so much she looks you know freaking great by the way I love her she looks so good for her age I don't know how she does it she doesn't look like she's covered in work she just looks fantastic it was such an easy watch too it was like I think I watched it on a Sunday morning I was like oh and then I then I'm crying oh my god oh it's so sweet so uh but I put it off for a while because I just saw the octopus and I was thinking of that documentary yeah uh my something teacher my octopus teacher my octopus yeah was my octopus teacher um I love that I have a lot of it I know there are everybody loves it I tried to watch it and I got so bored with it that I just really you heartless beast oh did you so you didn't get to the point where you're like oh no is it gonna be okay yeah and it's funny because I've watched some segments on on octopus and people have theories

that they're aliens right and because they're so smart and yeah it's who's the who's the inner voice of the is it sounds like Alec Baldwin who is that it's the guy from the burrows um I don't know his name you would know his face can't find it in the credits here um what what do they call him is he have a name uh character I mean Marcellus I don't see it it's not the top credits weird it sounded like I don't know it sounded like uh a Baldwin to me but it's Alfred uh mold oh Alfred Molina dude he's freaking talk talk man yeah yeah yeah we love him a little Peter and he's like you bring me the idol I threw you the whip the second right oh yeah that is that's a guy oh man it's crazy how many things you realize people are in right he's a fantastic actor I love I love the movie it's heartwarming there's a wonderful story to it

and I mean everything kind of falls in place for the movie and that's okay um don't feel like we get a lot of those anymore and just good heartfelt business yeah it's yeah and I like I like this Lewis Pullman a lot I like it more than his dad almost I think he is he is kicking A and uh it's not just because he's cool in the MCU I think he's got real raw talent is really good and I just think anything that gets coal-meanie involved I sign up for it even though he's got a tiny roll sounds like it's not a big roll but it's uh you know whatever chief O'Brien running the controls I love him could watch him eat a banana right now right in front of me let's go as I get into my older years I really love uh the representation for the older generation kind of coming back into popular media so like I mentioned the burrows I really enjoyed that I actually get the finish it now that we have Netflix back um are you still there yeah we're here yeah okay I never know when I drop you I'm gun shy because there's been too many times where I

just start talking and I'm like oh I'm talking it's usually your car or something though right yeah yeah yeah so I'm gonna call through or um and even the uh there was a like a crime one was it the residence that was another good one um the burrow the residence was awesome yeah the residence was awesome the burrows I recommended I think I called it I don't remember what I called it in or technically that was the burrows sadly that didn't get renewed uh no it didn't so it's a one and done unfortunately yeah I think same for the residents I don't think that got renewed oh really no you know what dick it renewed that I'm going to I've recommended it in the past I want to remind people because I just found out I don't know I just was perusing Apple TV sugar season two of sugar is out don't let Steven Zacher hear you tell you why he doesn't he doesn't like he didn't like sugar he didn't like the reveal season I know I know sugar I love the aesthetic of it

yes this the noir yeah it's so good and and uh aside from like banshee's of in a Sharon and in bruise might be my favorite uh um Colin uh Colin thing Colin Farrell Farrell thank you I had meanies still in my head even though it's a Colin wild called me yeah he's being called in wild haha I kind of roll with him now I'll see whatever he does yeah yeah I do love it remember you've just kind of a butthole like in the 90s like a little trouble and cocky yeah right get in trouble all the time now it's just like well and he has he has a special needs son that he cares more mm-hmm yeah I think that is a way of mellowing people out yeah it really is yeah and he's really sweet about it I've heard some interviews about it and it's just very you can tell he's he's committed in that regard yeah and if I when lagged for most or whatever his name is makes another movie

please get your old buddy Colin back in it I liked the lobster and the all that weird shit you did the other oh yeah yeah bring him back I know you like Emma Stone I get it was he in killing of a sacred dare to yes with uh Nicole Jordan yes he was the dad at the doctor husband yeah yeah the amazing movie he's this really so yeah sugar season two is out I'm I'm all in for it I started watching it I got two episodes in so far um and I was like I asked Mateo go you want to watch this show with me I'll go back to season one and watch it again with you now I'm trying to convince my son into watching stuff with me well in the meantime catch fish lady and that dude on Netflix sorry remarkably bright creatures right down here the shrews this lady well I just for whatever reason I couldn't remember it this morning so I put it in the notes just quickly to remind myself and I wrote down fish lady in the dude all right let's

get to mind this is something that I saw on HBO Max and it's a documentary that I think I may have actually watched twice and forgotten that I did the first time but it was worth it it was about 10 years ago and it was worth seeing again because I also did a deep dive in a bit of a follow up and here's the weird thing I'm not going to play you anything from the actual documentary because instead I'm going to play you a clip from this kid named Sam who did a TED talk while he was still with us and just had some really smart stuff to say so my clip is from that here it is what is the most important thing that people should know about you my answer was simply that I have a very happy life so even though there are many obstacles in my life with a lot of them being created by progeria I don't want people to feel bad for me I don't think about these obstacles all the time and I'm able to overcome most of them anyway so I'm here today to share with you my philosophy for a happy life so for me there are three aspects to this philosophy the first

aspect to my philosophy is that I'm okay with what I ultimately can't do because there's so much that I can do all right that is Sam Burns and he is the central figure in the documentary life according to Sam he has progeria which is this condition you guys have probably seen before in places where it's very rare but when a kid has it they only live about 14 years on average they their body rapidly ages they end up with heart condition strokes and heart attacks at age 14 because they have the circulatory system of like a 95 year old given the because of this condition and they also you know kind of look like it they look like they're old and you know it's strange because in some ways they are still young still kids but they they take on this appearance and it's really hard for them this movie is about this kid and his family and how they decided to deal with it and because of their family or his family's mother and father in particular they

figured out a way to get some real work done in the in the space of trying to deal with this disease helping find a cure working toward better medications that sort of thing and and they can well as loud turn that down I'm you for a second did you just get transferred to the back of a van yeah that was weird no it's our air conditioner oh okay air conditioner really likes it twice if you're okay yeah let us know anyway so Sam he broke well he lived a little longer than average he only lived to 17 but he did finally pass away it was a result of this disease this documentary was came out in 2013 or 14 and it was like maybe a year before his passing and it deals with a few other kids in it but it's mostly about Sam and his and his thing this is one of the most inspirational kids I've ever heard in my life in terms of what he says how he lived his short life how freaking smart he was like if we get a figured out a way to extend

his life to another 30 years I have zero doubt he would have done just incredible things he's so freaking smart and so um wise about who he is and where he is and why he is it just is incredibly inspirational um it's a little gut wrenching to know that he's no longer with us because he was just so you know just so singularly interesting in this documentary and I just hate the ideas not around I feel so bad for his parents but man his parents are rock stars it is just a beautiful documentary about a beautiful human that uh should inspire even the most cynical of us so if you have a moment check out 2013's life according to Sam which is on HBO it's an HBO documentary so it'll always be there it should be let's as love takes it off because he's a dick uh I can't imagine him doing that but it's a a wonderful documentary that is not for once I'm not talking about murders and unsolved cases or addiction and all that yeah you're the latest addiction

exactly although windy windy thinks that this is in the same line and I asked her about that offline I said really she goes yeah you're you are very interested in the struggles of people who have it hard for whatever the reason is so if we're with its drug addiction and it's severe or it's something like this like a medical condition or or whatever you're fascinated by that and I am and I don't know why but I get a lot out of it and this one I really did uh and I think now this is my second time I say I think because I'm not quite sure I saw it just kept being familiar I was like watching going do I see this scene where have I seen this maybe I've just seen clips or something but this is this is the one where he his whole community in wow no different different different different uh different kid different that's also excellent that's on Netflix really good yeah that's called something of something of oh it's that called someone in the channel know it also very much worth watching different condition but same thing you know young people who are afflicted with

horrible terminal diseases that they just have no control over and he's inspiring because the Sam kit just it didn't matter like he could be in pain and he was a lot and he was dealing with all these like getting poked and prodded constantly and trying to do all these things but he just he's like I'm gonna play drums in band I don't care what it takes and band comes around and they did they deny him and he's like well then I'm gonna figure out a way to get in there so he makes his own drum kit so that it's lighter so that his small frame can move the way he needs to to be to keep up with the rest of the band and then they let him on the team and his high school loved him he got four student awards at his graduation and they were like all academic like high level academic stuff just this brilliant kid who loved his parents his parents loved him and it was just it's a really sweet story about persevering in in the worst situations and it's only made harder because it's just because he passed away but made it's 17 was like way past when they want to expect

to them to live no one lives past 14 15 the the oldest on record with this condition was 18 years old and it was like 50 years ago or something so anyway really really good stuff check it out you'd be glad you did that is called the life or life according to Sam and it's available on eb HBO so we got one HBO one Netflix and one Apple TV yeah you gotta it's a straight it's a stretch yeah there's no flush that's how we get there Nicole does anything happening in the wood world we should know about yes we brought our charity back and I'm running a charity to support a organization called the Purple Heart Foundation it's for wounded vets that are looking for therapeutic ways through woodworking to kind of recover from PTSD so I'm running a charity auction market I are running a charity auction we're gonna have a live event on October 2nd on our YouTube channel nice and I'm running an auction

full of tons of tools from companies that we work with so if you go to the woodwhisperer.com slash wfc you'll learn all about it and the history of it and what we're doing on this this go around nice that's what I'm doing right now is all I'm doing your husband did a video recently was a short that I was obsessed with I had watched it three or four times over because really like one of his table saws or something fell over I forgot what the tool was it didn't fall over he pushed it over oh that explains why I was confused and I watched it over and over and over so so that table saw was his original table saw when we first started the woodwhisperer were coming up on 20 years and we auctioned that table saw off 10 years ago or this particular charity wfc originally it we were supporting cancer charities but we've expanded it beyond so we could do things like the purple heart project and other things that we want to do in the future but the person that got

the table saw sent it back to him because they had gotten out of woodworking and it was like it just feels like it needs to come back to you so that's hand getting this saw back after 10 years and he's working to kind of get it functional that's great I love hearing that yeah what a sweet thing well that's awesome get out there and support it goes the URL one more time the woodwhisperer.com slash wfc wfc some of you wrestling fans may screw that up try not to woodworkers for a cause there you go yeah that's awesome Nicole stay out of trouble and pet Dougie Dougie's all right right everything's okay with Dougie where's Dougie oh oh did I ask a terrible question what happened Dougie's Dougie died no what did this happen like a mother so I missed this entirely oh I'm sorry he had he got cancer I mean he was okay the lifespan of a bulldog is about eight years yeah pretty low he was almost 10

that's pretty good and it kind of happened pretty quickly actually it was probably July when when we had to make the call because it progressed really fast oh man so yeah everybody in the chat's like so all the crying today yeah let's have all the sad all the sad revelations yeah so yeah we've had a lot of time to process it and I'm gonna just say Dougie was his own dog and yeah he I will never have another bulldog but Dougie will always be my only bulldog because if it just he was one of mine yeah yeah I mean there every time the kids here the little's when they come over their obsessed with the show called Dougie or hey Dougie yeah and we love it too what was that where he got his name from was from that show oh I didn't know that yeah makes me like it even more all of our so when when the kids came about and they were kind of obsessed with certain cartoons

we would name our animals after the the cartoon characters so team and we zoom in are you familiar with that yeah so millie that's how millie our doberman who passed away a few years ago I actually a number of years ago that's how she got her name and Dougie was hey Dougie that's great hey Dougie's awesome I love it yeah it is it's good we watch it I love that you're experiencing all of these shows that I I mean I could I could tuck your ears off oh yeah no all the kids shows yeah the kid that's all back in form here whenever they're at the house that's what's on so I'm loving it oh yeah well Nicole have a have a great month and don't lose any more animals between now and next time we talk to you okay all right uh quick click let that stick with you for a while all right we're gonna get out of here quick email from a listener this is about the jugs of pain this is from Ron the artist in Pennsylvania there's only one one artist yeah the artist from

you know this wrong from yeah that's right dear scrotum and bladder hey I don't know if it's worse uh yeah you know I was gonna say you know at least bladders on the inside I don't know yeah I'm under another one is preferable I'm a bag of nuts I don't like it says while watching return of the king the other day I had a random thought if the orcs ira euricae ira kai I'm never say right and the rest of their ilk killed all men in middle earth I feel like we're on the artist has been on the weed anyway yeah what would they all do all day would they have to go get hobbies singing groups play checkers would they form gangs and fight in the streets like the sharks and the jets and west side story so many questions love the show though Ron Ron first of all that edible hit so you're good they're taking the hobbies to Eisengar they're taking the hobbies to Eisengar it is a good point though like when you raise up that army you only raise them up to fight I would think yeah yeah what is the other use for them and when you play

games like the the two those two Lord of the Rings games that were so good I forgot the names shadow of mordor and the other one they just stood around a lot and waited for you to kill them like that there's not it's just a lot of fodder I think in mordor so it's all in the by it's a numbers game for yeah for the evil side of middle earth so I think I think that's the answer is they're just standing around waiting for blood that's it nobody's singing with anybody no one's playing checkers they might chop each other's limbs off or something but anyway there you go thanks Ron appreciate the email good good think on there yeah yeah keep your text and emails coming frog pants calm slash TMS for everything you need if you're looking for new shows well good news there's a bunch of stuff on the schedule so check that out at frog pants calm slash schedule we got near dispatch there what's what you plan I finished I finished dispatch on Saturday and at least my first run through of it I'm curious TV's Travis went to dragon concerted Amy did you guys see

anybody cosplaying as the giant cat mascot thing from dispatch that's the that's the cause play that I would want to see like the giant cat head mascot with the coffee cup with whiskey in it I saw a couple of the big trash guy there's some pictures of the big trash guy who's played by uh did yeah uh played by that rapper yeah golem and then uh who else I saw the devil lady at first oh malevolva malevolva gib yeah she's she's my favorite if I have the choice between blonde blazer uh invisigal and malevolva gib I would choose malevolva gib yeah there's a there's a there's a few few of those I saw in pictures from dragon comedy who knows about that cat and red fracas says if I did I didn't recognize it yeah okay oh that's a good point yeah you have to know know who let's see if I can find it um dispatch giant cat mascot is probably the best way

to look for it got a lot of I guess he's mr whiskey is his name yeah all right here I'm gonna give you and the image in our discord chat you can put it up in tv's Travis and uh oh yeah there you go yeah with the the eyes going opposite directions is like a here we go it feels like if you're gonna cause play oh yeah forgot about that cat yeah so did you I don't want to spoil anything but I'm gonna ask you if you got the ending with the conversation on the car or did you get a different one yes I did get the I did get an ending with the conversation on the car okay but um but a potential love interest ran away I think I have the same ending as you yeah that's why I want to surprise me because I'm gonna guess I'll bet we have very similar yeah uh set of choices in the game I ended up there's a way to pull up your your choices oh there is actually you can go uh in the options there's an option to see where you picked and then what I know I can see mine oh can I

can see what most other people picked so you can see yeah yeah I can see what I'd like to see just yours specifically oh yeah I could go I could log in I guess and see but basically I let's just say I started out thinking one thing about a certain character and by the end I had been turned which I wasn't sure what it said about me as a person but I kind of fell for it so sure no I I certainly did uh hold her hold her in if you know what I mean I know exactly what you mean you know what which chapter I'm talking about no so yesterday I started platform eight the sequel to Exit eight and um that game gives you less to go on than Exit eight Exit eight I felt like you got all the information you needed uh from the first sign that you see on the wall um platform eight you really have to figure stuff out and it's a lot of trial and error more than it's oh that looks different I'm going back the other way in platform eight you don't you can't go

backwards you can only go forward I didn't know that and so you have to do weird things depending on what's going on in your train car there were a bunch of requests back then when the when it was rumored he was they were working on a second game they were requests that they would it would be more difficult so it sounds like that's what that is they succeeded because there are still certain cars there's still certain things that happen I have zero idea how to pass and um I had a chat room chatting with me telling me you know try this what about this and and none of those things were working so I'm gonna do some more today I saw a lot of I saw a lot of scary shit that's what I saw I'll bet uh yeah there's some like that one thing in in Exit eight where you get the the guy that comes out of the wall as the tiles and starts running at you I hated that imagine a freaking bunch of that kind of that level of stuff yeah twitchy guy anyway I uploaded my my video my streaming videos online you can hear the points rise going no I'm getting out of here I don't want that nope

no nobody wants a wall guy chasing you exactly so platform eight on uh youtube cover bill and I'll play some more today nice you guys seen this uh shot at Tanner hanging out with baby no money yes dirty bastard yeah he was apparently really nice and he sat and talked him for a long time and the guys a huge wow nerd and that's so cool yeah it was kind of cool to hear about that he was just hanging around the Hilton and they were all just chatting and talking pretty cool nice nice and uh Tanner went to uh Disneyland and uh he said hey Brian do you need any any uh kyber crystals and I'm like crap there are some new ones now some new chase ones so I said yeah pick me up pick me up three blue ones because there's a chance for a Kylo Ren which is a blue crystal with red in the middle like a red core and uh and Tanner text me and said well I got three for you and then I got one for myself I opened up the one for myself and it was the Kylo Ren so he said so I'm sending that to you I'm like dude you don't have to do that he's doing it anyway

that's a very nice guy Tanner is that is that guy that is he is a very nice guy yes wicked kitten you should be glad you're not a blizzcon because it ended yesterday you'd be going home today you'd be you'd be there alone yeah just helping clean up yeah what you'd be doing nobody wants to do that if you seen the Hilton bathroom on Sunday so tell me quick question as as the as Mr instance um uh work craft forever so I'm gonna pick up the upgrade for uh reforged I've already got work craft three reforged but there's the new campaign that I'm super excited about yeah and you get a bet deal that way if you buy it as a bundle yeah that's why I was gonna ask you because I saw that forever comes as a bundle with reforged um I didn't realize I thought it was a similar thing like you pay the subscription and you get the game for free for uh let's never like that because work craft you always have to pay for the game you always have to pay for the game so even even if you're playing retail that's true even the yeah that's true right okay now they have I mean obviously all these years later they you can get started in right up to a point to get going that the minute

you want new content you have to you got a high in expansion dance dance what I'm thinking okay so anyway I'm gonna pick up the the work craft forever collection since it's got reforged and um I want the collectors one because it looks rad and I want that bear and and and dwarf thing but they sold out in like five seconds did they really oh wow yeah I don't know if they're gonna refill that or not but probably not wow so those are gonna be rare and hard to get um yeah great yeah it's all it's all pretty exciting that wow for everything is pretty exciting what they're doing yeah it sounds on paper like they are giving me exactly what I need as a hybrid of of classic versus modern give me a little bit of what's good about both you know put it together um and then one realm is crazy though because it's not you don't you're not getting on a server with your friends it is one server the entire game that's right yeah all all one realm and it's all like so it's a mix of the

RP PVP but you just change that as an aspect when you log into the game if you want well depending on whether what what of those things they even include I don't know I don't even know what of those systems will will make it over and not but my guess is it'll be close sort of vanilla rules which was you attack somebody else you're now flagged for PVP and you and you and now you're you're susceptible gotcha they won't do the war mode thing or any of that stuff they do today so it'll it'll be different in those regards but one giant server to serve them all it's gonna be uh other games do this other games do this like ESO does this freaking um let's see uh even online is one giant server so there's plenty of examples of where they do this but they're they're the way they're segmented out it makes a little bit more sense I think it's going to be a little nuts how many people will congregate in the main towns and stuff with it being one server I don't know how they're gonna that could get that could get crazy they'll probably probably have phased just they'll phase it I

don't know they'll do stuff but if you want your good we're like Tanner's worried about getting our guild name as quick as we can because now you're on one server everybody has to right you can't uh because we're gonna do poor but chorus so comment of a word and short that we're afraid it's just gonna get snapped up by somebody so we don't know you're not gonna not gonna try and get ii babies huh all right yeah they freaking bastards took that away from us never forget but you know who hasn't you know hasn't forgotten Veronica Belmont down there she hasn't forgotten where'd she go well she's not in camera anymore but Veronica will never forget that was her idea anyway that's gonna do it for today's show thanks everybody for being here we're gonna play a song as we leave yes hey brine what song we playing we're gonna play something going out to Josh 3.0 getting to this one a little bit late catching up because we had a ton of stuff for the end of august and not much stuff for the beginning of September so cool uh you know getting a few extra things here uh Josh said hey chic and beetle it's Josh 3.0 oh man I always forget to do this so if

you can't get it in that in time that's fine but uh august 26th is Raven's birthday so I figured I would try to sneak one in the last minute as you guys know Raven is amazing and I'm so happy we get to spend of this crazy life together anyway we're gonna see toto Christopher Cross in the romantics for her birthday so I thought what better than to ask for Leo Leo Moracioli's metal cover of Africa and so that's what we're playing for here's Africa by uh heavy metal Leo Leo Moracioli first up some quiet conversation she's coming in 1240 fry the moon at wings
