It's the time of year when crisp, clean sheets, a soft duvet, and an extra layer or two really make a difference. Quince has become one of my go-to's for bedding because the quality is so good, it's affordable, and it really feels amazing. Whether you prefer the relaxed feel of Lenin or the crisp softness of cotton, Quince makes it easy to create the bed. You'll actually look forward to getting into. I got a new comforter from Quince, especially for the summer. I still like the feeling of having something heavier on top of me,
but I need it to be lighter so that I don't get so hot. And I've got to tell you, it's worked fantastically for me. And it's not just bedding either. I've really come to like Quince's clothing and apparel as well. So this fall, make your bed your favorite place to be this season with Quince. Download the Quince app for app exclusive offers or go to quince.com slash wake me up. Get free shipping on your order and 365 day returns now available in Canada and the UK too. That's quince.com slash wake me up. This episode is sponsored by Vinted. If you're like me, you really need to clean out your closet because there's a bunch of old clothes in there. You keep saying you're aware, but you never do. You might be running out of closet space and wanting to refresh your wardrobe without spending a ton of money. Or maybe you're even looking to turn all of those old clothes into a little extra cash. And that's where Vinted can be helpful.

Listing items on Vinted is quick and simple. And once an item sells, Vinted creates the prepaid shipping label for you. Instead of throwing them away or letting them continue to take up space, let those old clothes have a new life. So are you ready to clean out your closet and make some extra money? Download the Vinted app for free and start listing. With no seller fees, you keep every dollar you earn. This episode is brought to you by State Farm. The Buddha said that peace comes from within, not to seek it in the outside world. And that's why I'm so glad you've joined me here today for this meditation. Because finding the peace that's within that's already here. And that always lives underneath everything else going on. Well, that's exactly what we're going to do. So find a comfortable position. Seed it or lying down. Whatever feels right for you. Take a nice deep breath in. And as you exhale, allow your eyes to close. Take a moment first. Just to arrive here.
Whatever you are doing before, whatever's waiting for you after. Let it wait. This time is just for you. Everything else in the outside world will still be there when you finish. For these moments, there's nowhere else you need to be. Let's take a few more deep breaths together. Just to help settle in. So inhale fully. Hold for just a second. And then release. Just let the air fall back out.
There's nothing to force here. Inhale again. Hold and let it go. Now you can let your breath return to its natural pace and depth. Whatever feels easy and effortless. Allow the muscles of your face to soften. Relax your shoulders.
Just let everything settle into a little more ease and comfort. Even if it's just one or two percent more comfortable, you're moving in the right direction. And that's really what peace is about. Control, controlling what you can control. Letting go. Everything else.
Now, I want to offer you a simple phrase or mantra to carry you through this practice. I invite you to repeat it silently in your mind, more out loud after me. Today, I choose peace. Today, I choose peace. And now, if you'd like, you can keep repeating the phrase, and you can repeat it.
And now, if you'd like, you can keep repeating that mantra on your own. And as the moments pass, notice what's happening underneath the surface. Any tension, any pleasure, any noise in the mind.
And you don't need to fix any of this. Just notice it and let it be as it is without needing anything from you. Simply observing this experience of life as it appears in this moment from the perspective of your being. This is what it means to choose peace.
It doesn't mean that everything is calm or perfect. It just means that you're accepting it as it is, not trying to fight it. And if it helps, you can follow that in and out rhythm of your breath. That wave-like pattern, collecting and releasing.
And then letting it go. And if a thought comes and tries to grab at your attention, that's perfectly fine. It's exactly what brings do after all. And you can just let it come and go. Exactly like the breath.
Today, I choose peace. Today, I choose peace. Today, I choose peace. Today, I choose peace.
Today, I choose peace. Today, I choose peace. Today, I choose peace. Today, I choose peace. Today, I choose peace. Now, wherever your mind may have wandered off to,
or if it's been perfectly still, acknowledge and appreciate that you showed up. That's what it means to choose peace. So one more time, let's repeat our mantra together. Today, I choose peace. And if you'd like to stay here for longer, then I invite you to do so.
But if you're ready to close out with me, then you can take one final, deep breath in. And as you exhale, bring a little movement back to your body. Just waking it up. And as you're ready, gathering yourself, opening your eyes, and turning towards your day. Appreciateing whatever peace you did find here, even if it was a smaller amount today than usual. This isn't something you don't have to search for out there. Peace is already inside of you. And every time you take the opportunity to remember it, it grows.
So I hope you carry it with you in your day, and I hope you share your peace with others. Thanks for joining me. Now go out and have a fantastic day.
