This morning on the 3rd hour of today, tens of millions bracing for an outbreak of more
severe storms lasting into the weekend. One day after tornadoes,
torqued through several states with deadly effects, we're tracking all of it.
Plus, major beef, fast food chains facing off for your business.
We'll see what all the hype is about.
Rolling out bigger burgers, new recipes,
and taking aim at each other.
What the burger battle means for your dinner plans.
Then later, a pair of Hollywood stars.
Dennis Quaid, live in Studio 1A, talking about his futuristic action film.
And John Slattery joining us to share his Buzzworthy new series, Vladimir.
Today, Friday, March 6th, 2026.
Live from Studio 1A in Rockefeller Plaza,
this is the 3rd hour of today.
And a very good morning too.
Welcome to this 3rd hour of today.
It is a Friday morning, just in time, along with.
Thank you. Thank you so much for being with us on this Friday.
Craig here with out.
And our friend NBC News now, Anchor Savannah Sellers.
She's in for Dylan this morning.
We've got a big show on them for you as we head into the weekend.
We're going to start with those severe storms.
Going to be a busy weekend for a lot of folks, huh?
Yeah, we've had three days, it'll be three days in a row of severe weather,
severe advisories.
Haven't happened since July of last year.
So here you can see we're looking at these strong storms already firing up.
This is the second round of storms that are coming in.
So here's what we're looking at.
The severe threat this afternoon on into tonight.
Stretching from Chicago, Peoria, Oklahoma City, Dallas.
32 million people at risk.
Couple of strong tornadoes possible.
EF2s are stronger, damaging hail or winds.
We're looking at winds of up to 75 miles per hour.
Then tomorrow we go from Pittsburgh, Cincinnati,
all the way down to Houston and Austin.
35 million people again, dangerous hail,
wind gusts of up to 60 miles per hour,
and a tornado or two as well.
And then Sunday, we're looking for strong storms as well.
Through Sunday, the heaviest rain is going to be stretching
from southern Texas all the way into the lower
and mid Mississippi River Valley.
Some places anywhere from two to three
as much as locally, five inches of rain.
And of course, what do we have happening
on Saturday night into Sunday?
Oh, yes.
We turn the clocks ahead, okay, baby?
Spring ahead, fall back.
So we're going to spring forward.
This weekend, daylight saving times begins at 2 a.m. Sunday morning.
You know, the funny thing is if you're old enough,
you remember, you spent a good chunk of your evening
before you went to bed changing all the clocks.
Yeah, because you have to do it manually,
they're all analog.
Now almost everything changes on its own.
I think my oven clock, I always realize late.
Quick question, I don't know if you knew the answer to it.
Two a.m. Why do we do it at two versus like three or four?
Because everybody's asleep by them.
Oh, okay, well, that's why I have no idea.
But by the way, you said it with confidence,
I just go in, just say it, boom.
A lot of people excited, not everyone.
The parents bracing themselves.
Yeah, because your kids don't know the clock has changed.
And it's by the way, it's not just like infants and toddlers either.
Like my 11 to 9 year old, like it throws off their clock for days.
Yeah, and your pets.
Yes.
How do you feel about the sunshine though?
Is that a big deal for y'all?
That extra hour?
I just know.
Just leave the clocks where they are and call it a day.
Stop.
Actually, it starts this debate every single time, right?
A new poll finds the majority of Americans
are not in favor of daylight saving time.
And then listen to this British Columbia in Canada.
They just passed all.
They're going to change the clocks one more time.
But then never again.
Way to go.
Way to go, Canada.
Yes.
I just, it's just so odd to me that in 2026, like this democracy
of ours, we all stop by here.
Here's the problem.
Well, it takes an act of Congress.
Do you think anything's getting done?
No.
I mean, we'll all be long gone.
And we'll still be have.
Our children will be having this debate.
We talk about AI.
Like every day, we talk about artificial intelligence.
No, time to turn the clock back.
Time to clock, yeah.
Wave off intelligence when you talk about Congress.
Oh.
Anyway.
Wow, it's spicy.
Speaking up, political house, my favorite.
No.
Oh, it's freaking out time.
Speaking of time, though, there's this new viral trend that's
got a lot of people sounding off.
Follow me here.
It's called the airport theory.
That's what someone dubbed it.
Basically, some people roll in the dice.
They're arriving minutes before their flight.
The idea is, if you can get through security quickly,
you don't need to check back.
You can board as soon as you arrive at your gate.
You don't have to wait around.
That's surprisingly, though.
Most experts say this is a dumb idea.
If you want to wait around,
play with that, miss your flight,
now you're going to really wait around.
Yeah, I'm just going to say try it.
Sounds like you've been doing the airport theory for a while.
OK, it used to be an accident.
And then this is the thing that people were talking about.
Have you guys thought?
Yeah.
No, I haven't.
Not yet.
Because who, you know, it's like, let everybody board.
And then it's like, hey, just in time.
Kill for this.
By the way, my wife has been subscribing to the airport theory
for decades.
And she's missed the flight.
Oh, she misses a couple every year.
Yeah.
When I enjoy it, sometimes it's getting the airport
and just being able to chill,
like enjoying a nice drink or a ball,
or just like relaxing, watching a show.
Right, you know, like if you can, yeah.
And by the way, by the way,
that air, that overhead space, yeah, that's, that's money.
That's, that's, that's money in the bank.
You get their, your last one on.
Now all of a sudden, you got to get, check your bank.
Yeah, a lot of times, though, right.
We're not, we hardly have anything.
We're going for a day.
We're coming out.
That's true.
Day of.
I just don't like, here's another thing.
I don't like rushing.
Like if I don't have to rush,
I don't, I just don't like the, I don't like that.
It makes me anxious.
This is the exact conversation I have with my husband.
With your husband.
There you go.
That's it.
All right, well, here's a fast food feud
that is heating up.
All the biggest burger chains are fighting
for our business, rolling out new options,
changing up recipes.
They're even, even starting beef with each other.
Uh-huh.
Get it?
NVC Sam Brock is here to break down the big burger battle.
Break it down for it.
It's the Brock beef.
Right.
How many alliteration steps can we take in?
Not sure.
It was a very meaty proposition.
No question.
Oh, well, you're up the challenge.
No, no, no, no.
No fun intended.
Exactly.
I like what you're doing there.
I'm relishing this.
Yeah.
Oh, what?
What was I going to say to you?
Come on, Sam's got to catch her.
I'm just trying to catch her.
Oh.
I'm not even trying to play in the sandbox right now
because I'm outclass.
All right, this week, two chains that are synonymous
with burgers have up to the ante.
McDonald's releasing the big arch.
It is a monster half pound burger
with, as Al mentioned, new buns.
And a new sauce Burger King also tweaking its signature
whopper for the first time in almost a decade.
Bottom line here.
The emphasis is on premium options
in a tasty and competitive space.
It's a new age twist to an age-old question.
McDonald's unveiling the big arch.
A huge hunk of beef with two quarter pound patties,
three slices of cheese, and a new tangy sauce.
We'll see what all the hype is about,
which doesn't just have customer salivating.
All right, so let's get a proper bite.
Cheers.
Oh yeah.
It's also adding fuel to the fire
of a long sizzling rivalry between McDonald's
and Burger King with Mickey D's offering its version
of a premium burger.
They really believe that bigger is better.
At the same time, Burger King just rolled out a revamped
version of its elevated whopper,
upgrading the mayo and bun formula
for the first time in nearly a decade.
Man, I'm excited to try this.
Like, yeah, you can definitely tell the difference.
The bun game is fantastic,
and the pitch to the beef buffs.
That is so good.
Got a supercharged kick
when McDonald's CEO, Chris Kemschinsky,
trying the big arch went viral,
spawning a slew of videos roasting his performance.
Only one thing missing.
A napkin.
From BK to Wendy CEO,
getting in on the trend and poking fun.
Of course, you got to have a frosty with a burger.
Is this set up today?
Oh, wait, our machines are always working.
Of a move, restaurant experts say is part
of a broader strategy.
There is a limited number of visits
in the restaurant space right now,
and that is putting pressure on executives
to do a number of different things
to get people in the door.
Earlier this year, Taco Bell unveiled their new Luxe value menu
featuring 10 different items under $3.
And just last month, Shake Shack launching a good fit menu
aimed at those who might be seeking GLP one-friendly options.
One thing all these chains have in common.
Oh my god, yeah.
With the cost of eating out, rising higher than eating in,
restaurants are trying just about anything
to get customers in the door.
They want something that's worth the money.
They want it to be worth it.
Okay, we got the taste test here, right?
So this is my friends, the big arch.
They're not under selling it when they say it's big.
Look at the size of this thing, okay?
So it's a double quarter patty.
Obviously, you've heard of that before,
but this one, not only does it have that
three different layers of cheese,
they took out the bun in the middle.
This is more than a thousand calories.
It is 65 grams of fat.
53 grams, though, of protein.
So you get your protein alongside that.
It is delicious.
I'm not taking a bite right now.
Yeah, on a clock in the morning.
You're gonna have to take my word for it.
Go get the big arch.
We also have the whopper hang on.
So the whopper has made it a little
happy male defibrillator.
It's a healthy option, right?
But then you also have this guy right here,
which is new buns, new sauce.
And so they've tweaked the formula a little bit.
This is only, you know, a hundred calories.
Wow, wow.
I'll have five.
By comparison, it looks outstanding.
I also want to introduce you to something else.
It's called the Chief Tasting Officer, the CTO.
This is at Wendy's.
The description will absolutely leave you salivating.
So first of all, this is your job, right?
For a hundred thousand dollars,
you get to taste some of the items
and then effectively report on it.
Required credentials.
A human mouth.
Human mouth.
All right.
Opinions, creativity and taste.
And the idea is remote.
It's remote from your couch potential.
You may have to visit like local Wendy's to do it.
But for a hundred K,
you were the official taste tester.
You can do a vlog style thing
where you're creating videos for them.
And you're making six videos.
You want a problem.
All right, yeah.
And Wendy's their thing.
They don't cut corners, you know?
You were holding onto that.
Look at you.
Because I am a Wendy's fan.
Maybe a fan.
Look at you.
Fit and then.
So if you had to pick one or you guys like to sample,
I guess all three of these burgers
in your typical morning time.
If I don't do a fast food burger,
it's usually at Shake Shack.
You know, it's a four or five days.
That's correct because Shake Shack has forced
and five guys as well,
them to all up their game.
They've moved into the territory
of the McDonald's and Burger King.
Used to occupy.
So this is their answer
to try to really sort of bring back
some of those premium cuts.
I'm going to tell you the big DLT.
That makes DLT.
Keeps the cut.
It's all hot and the cool side.
Cool.
Yes.
But if I got to have a hot
a fast food sandwich,
yeah.
McRib.
Yeah.
But they don't have it year round.
I know.
That's what I'm trying.
You know, Chandler.
And by the way, you've been
you've been leading that campaign
for several years.
McRib, baby.
You're on your round, McRib.
Jam, thank you.
By the way, Sam promised a deep dive
on the burgers.
You delivered, sir.
Yes, I did.
Yes, I did.
We're going to eat all these afterwards.
All right.
Coming up.
Oh, wow.
This is perfect.
After we've been hamburgers,
we're going to talk about health.
Today's checklist.
We're going to take the stress
out of finding the right doctor for you today.
It's telling you how to get sick
and then tell you how to get better.
And then after that,
celebrity.
Look who's here.
This is crazy.
Yeah.
Not a Friday.
Not peaches.
This is the one who said burgers.
Who's your good girl?
Bitch, who's your good girl?
I'm never excited about being here.
Dennis, no.
Dennis is here to tell us about the new action movie.
Also, look back on some of his classic roles as well.
The third hour of today.
Right back after this.
That was a night.

This morning on today's checklist,
we are talking about one of the most important decisions you can make
when it comes to your health.
That is choosing the right doctor,
and who better to help us out than Dr. Jen Coddle.
She is a family, medicine, physician,
and associate professor at Rowan University.
Dr. Jen, great to see you.
Good to see you.
Good morning.
This can be an overwhelming process.
You're worried about it.
You're worried about your health.
Yes.
How do you even get started?
All right, so we're going to go through our checklist.
I know we've got a few items here.
First of all, when you're looking for a new doctor,
of course, we want your insurance to cover, right?
So you want to look for the in-network doctor.
That's where you start.
And then, of course, you want to pay attention to the location
at an office hours.
Look, if you can't get to the doctor,
or you can't make it when they're open,
then what good is that doctor to you?
So pay close attention to that.
By the way, I'm working in the office tomorrow on Saturday.
Some of us work Saturday.
Some of us work evening.
So keep that in my mouth.
That's me tomorrow.
But that's good, because it opens up access.
Ask your family and friends,
but I'll also throw ask your co-workers,
because often they have the same insurance marks.
And they can tell you who they like.
And then start compiling a list of people that you like.
Now, a couple of things.
If you've been referred to another doctor by a specialist,
or like your primary doctor has referred you to a specialist,
it's hard to get in.
You may want to ask your primary doctor to make a call
to help you get in.
Get on the great test.
It's a cancellation list.
If it's hard to get in, there are some tricks of the trade.
So keep that in mind.
There you go.
Before you make the appointment, though,
Dr. Jim, you said that we should kind of
do our own research.
What should we be looking for specifically?
You want to board certified doctor.
This means the physician has met sort of the standard requirements
in this country for practicing medicine and surgery.
And that's what we want.
And that is well known.
You can Google that.
You can look that up online.
You want that.
Spoken language is, look, if you're Spanish speaking,
or you speak another language,
you might be able to find a doctor who speaks
your native language.
But let me also say, if English is not your first language,
all of us doctors should be providing translation services.
Like, I have a language line in my office.
I call a number, and we can do that.
So that should never be a reason
why you don't and can't get medical care.
That's not okay.
We can always provide that online reviews.
It's a little dicey.
I check my reviews every now and then look.
I'm sure you've got great reviews.
I've got a couple of it.
I mean, anyway, this is not about me.
Pointing.
I'm sorry, you know, it's not.
But this is the thing.
Online reviews is kind of like, you know,
when you're looking at anything else online,
there's going to be some good and bad.
Just take it with a grain of salt,
and then appointment availability.
Oh, I also say, I think it can be helpful to find a practice
that has a number of doctors, nurses,
PAs in the practice, that way if you can't see your own doctor,
there are other people that you can get in to see
and you're not stuck, you know what I mean?
Because a lot of folks right now, as you know,
they're waiting months and times.
Months and times.
To get an appointment.
That's exactly right.
So you want to be mindful of that.
All right.
Okay.
So Dr. General, what do you do?
Now you've got the appointment.
Yes.
How do you prep for that?
All right, so this is what I say.
This is all about trusting your gut.
All of this stuff is paying attention
to that sort of spiny sense, okay?
When you go see your doctor, and I always say,
interview them.
I don't have to tell them I'm interviewing you, right?
But you want to see, do they communicate with you?
How do they make you feel?
Do they ask the right questions?
Do you feel confident in their ability to help you?
And how do they interact with their staff?
Do you like?
I've had patients that leave a practice
because they don't like the staff.
Look, that's important.
So pay attention.
Those are the folks you're going to interact with.
More sometimes than the doctor.
And then how do you know you found the right?
Yeah.
So this is also where the gut feeling comes in.
They listen to you, they explain things,
they answer your question.
And by the way, your doctor should never gaslight you,
they should never shame you,
they should never make you feel bad about yourself.
And this is an important one, spending time.
Yes, which can be tough.
And I think a lot of people don't know this.
I'm an employed physician.
I work for Rowan University.
Many doctors are employed.
We don't set the amount of time we can spend with patients.
And I think a lot of people don't know that.
So we don't like the fact that we can't spend a lot of time
with you always, just like patients.
But spending time and making you feel heard
is very important.
And should you come with a complete list of questions?
Oh my gosh.
So you're not wasting time?
Write that list down and then we can go through
the most important ones and kind of rattle off the list
and kind of figure out what we need to do.
But trust your gut and I say,
if you don't like your doctor, fire them.
All right.
Get rid of them and find someone else.
Show them the door.
That's right.
You're out of here, doctor.
You're out of there.
What's up, Doc?
Not you.
Dr. Parallel, thanks so much.
Thank you.
We're going to, like, as soon as the show's over,
we're going to all get online and try some nice things.
Yeah.
Oh my gosh.
She's so much fun.
Great.
She's great.
Give some good lollipop.
Traveled up.
Not one, we've got two Hollywood stars,
live here in Studio One A.
First up, Dennis Quaid.
Dennis is here to fill us in on his new action movie.
With a bit of a sci-fi twist.
And then later, John Slattery,
sharing his buzz-worthy new series.
Also, he's going to tell us about playing himself
in his next movie.
Not much of a stretch.
Not much of a stretch.
No.
No.
Third hour today, right back after this stuff.
I don't know how to fly.
Well, I didn't have to learn how to fly,
but I was playing an astronaut,
which all these guys used to be test pilots
that they would serve for space.
So I figured I'd better learn to fly
because every pilot in America is going to be watching it.
And I'd better have it together as far as I could.
Yeah.
Wow.
That was Dennis Quaid's very first today show appearance.
1983, promoting the Academy Award-winning drama,
The Right Stuff.
Yeah, let's be on an hour's sleep.
My first time on today's show, I was really nervous.
It was great.
It didn't sleep the whole night.
Since then, the Emmy and Golden Globe nominee
had starred in memorable movies, like Great Balls of Fire,
The Parent Trap, Reagan, and The Substance.
And his latest film, War Machine,
did his plays of a military sergeant,
tasked with putting together an elite team
of Army Ranger recruits, and his standards are very high.
And it's great.
Welcome back, Peaches.
Welcome back, old man.
We just, well, did we just have to do that at us?
Yeah, forget the side-eye pieces.
What is that?
Peaches.
Peaches.
This is upset about something.
All right.
Okay, Peaches.
All right.
I talked to Dad then.
We did the most.
You looked over me.
We just showed that there was Jane Ballet.
That was 42 years ago.
Yeah.
One of the producers added up all the times you've been here.
This is your 27th appearance.
Really?
So you get a hug.
You get a today's show coffee mug at the end of the segment.
Sick.
Well, fantastic.
Thank you so much for that.
Does that make me a regular now?
Yes, you are.
Part of the family or some kind of cousin, I guess, right?
You are.
Yeah.
Looking back on it, like, what's, have you had, like,
favorite moments here on the show sharing some of your projects
over the years?
Gosh, it's just, I mean, Finne Show, I watch it myself.
I watch it every morning, you know?
So does Peaches.
She knows.
I don't think she does, but it's, yeah, it's been part of my life.
You know, pretty much all my life.
And it's, Jane was, Jane was a lot of fun.
Been through, you have a lot of host.
Do you guys come and go?
I'm like a government employee.
You guys come and go and I, I keep coming back.
There have been some stuff at Changes over the years.
Although, he probably been here since, well,
pretty much when he started coming home.
Yeah, that's true.
Scripts keep coming your way.
But what was it about the war machine?
Well, that war machine that made you say, I want to do this.
I want to be a part of this ride.
You know, it's, it carcans back to like a big Hollywood movie,
you know, back to the days, like sort of like Rambo or whatever.
And it's, it's a humans versus aliens.
And it's Alan Ritzenden is, Ritzenden is so fantastic in this.
And Patrick Hughes really directed a, really crafted a great movie.
And it's just a lot of fun to watch.
I mean, it was actually on location in Australia, right?
Which now you might do a lot on a green screen.
You were there.
Yeah, our 51st state Australia.
Yeah.
Guys, you know, trying to be, uh, uh, rangers, uh, army rangers.
And, uh, it's a beautiful country over there and in New Zealand as well.
Uh, it's just, it's gorgeous.
Okay.
So well done.
War machine is about a brotherhood.
So we wanted to try to give you a few rapid fire questions about past coasters.
Yeah.
So who, who is the actor?
Who is challenged you most?
Challenge me most.
Oh, geez.
Just about every Al Pacino I mean, working with him is, you know, you've got to,
you're really on your piece and cues.
And you just really want to bring it, you know, with them.
What about who made you laugh the most?
That would have to be Marty Short.
Uh-oh.
In fact, that's how I got my six pack of abs was laughing.
It was laughing with Marty Short on inner space.
He just, uh, in, we were spent all the time in the trailer together and it's non-stop.
Actually, you begged him to stop.
Actually, that you would like to work with again.
Uh, Marty Short.
I've been loved to work with Marty Short.
Yeah.
Pretty much everybody I'd like to work with again.
What's the best overall cast you've, if you thought, when you look back at it?
Traffic was incredible.
Oh, I was.
That was an amazing cast.
Yeah.
It truly was.
How many films have you been?
Do you even know?
I, I stopped counting after a hundred and I don't, I don't know, you can do that these
days.
I am DB.
Yeah.
Well, the cameras they have, you can make a movie now in eight weeks, which you should
take eight months.
You can use your phone now.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's true.
Did a quick thing count.
That's right.
I really glad to be here.
Be sure you're glad to be here.
Yeah.
Not really.
Yeah.
Okay.
Work the tree.
Those burgers you want a burger done.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
I see you.
Now coming up, we got another talented actor, John Slattery, live in studio 1A, talking about
his new series that's getting a heck of a lot of bucks.
Third hour of the day.
I'll be right back.
Fantastic.
No, next guest is taking on some really memorable roles over the years.
John Slattery nominated for several Emmys for his portrayal of Roger Sterling.
And that hit series, Mad Men.
And he was part of the ensemble cast of the Academy Award-winning Best Picture Spotlight.
And now he is starring in the new Netflix series, Vladimir.
He plays the disgraced head of a college English department whose open marriage and relationships
with students puts his job in jeopardy while his wife begins obsessing over a new younger
colleague.
John, good to see you.
Thank you, too.
Glad to be here.
Thank you.
Thank you.
This series, Vladimir, is getting so much buzz about it.
And it's a different kind of show.
Was that what attracted you to it?
Yeah, very much so.
She breaks the fourth wall by talking to the camera, Rachel, the great, Rachel vice that
is.
And it's an interesting sort of study of what happens to desire and obsession and vanity.
And when you hit a certain period in your life and does it go away?
Does it decrease?
And I don't know.
I just, it was just a really original script and Julia Jonas, who, Julia May Jonas, who
wrote the book, also ran the show and she's great, right?
So, yeah.
In that clip, we see you watering your lettuces.
My lettuces.
Plural.
Plural.
I see each one as an individual.
Yes.
What an annoying habit.
Sure.
You know, it's annoying.
I've purposely written that way to drive my wife crazy.
Yes.
And it does.
It does.
Yes.
To the point where she removes the net and lets the deer eat my lettuce.
Yeah.
Oh.
I was just telling you, I've only a couple episodes, three episodes in.
It's a fantastic series.
Thank you.
I just said something to you off camera.
We don't want to spoil it for people.
But I viewed your character one way and you're like, no, actually, no, it should be open
to interpretation.
Like, you're not a bad guy.
Well, I mean, I didn't see it necessarily that way.
They have an open marriage and it's an agreement, but it's a difficult, I don't know anybody
with an open marriage, but I assume that feelings get hurt and scar tissue builds up and it's
probably not as easy to execute as it seems when you agree to it.
I got to ask you while you're here about this, another film that you're in this comedy,
it's also getting a lot of buzz and premiered it's Sundance, heck of a title, Gayle Daughtry
and the Celebrity Sex.
The Celebrity Sex.
There are a lot of movies with sex in a movie.
It's really funny.
It killed at Sundance and then Sony Classic just picked it up and I hope it ends up in
movie theaters because John Hamm got you, he sucked you in.
John Hamm called me and I was in Budapest shooting Nuremberg with Leo Woodall who's also in
this and said David Wayne, the great David Wayne who did Wet Hot American Summer among other
things had a script.
Which I play a sort of bizarre version of myself and he plays himself, Hamm, that is.
And it's just really funny and it was great to be in a theater with 1,300 people all
lap.
You know, it was great to have that very.
Is it true that originally they were going to have somebody else like you who looks
like you?
No, we thought it would be a great idea if Brad Whitford played me.
Oh, that's funny.
There was someone with this track.
Yeah.
Who had to look first?
Who did it?
Whitford.
Your hair go great.
Yeah.
Whitford would die as well.
We both died our hair for a long time and then I stopped and then he stopped and then
he got the glasses and the beard and so I feel like he ripped me off.
He said that we should give out a diversity award together.
We're going to be great.
That's really funny.
That's great.
John, it's always great having you here.
Thank you.
Glad to be here.

Carol Pack.
What she did is she wanted to really make Korean beverages inclusive.
Yes, so she is created.
This is the first craft.
Well, you had the aura.
This is two different types of chairs.
The name of Korean beverages in Korea.
So she's created that after the drinks they embody.
What we have here is a mock.
It's the first craft from a goalie.
And it's a rice forward.
It's a little different.
She has four flavors.
Strawberries.
Really good.
Right?
It's refreshing.
A little velvety.
Some sweet notes in there.
But you've got blueberry, the original.
And you're sipping out on this.
This is kind of like a shocking.
So it's more like a traditional distilled.
It has that rice intonation to it.
But you're meant to sip it.
This is to be cooled.
And then stirred out a little bit.
And then you pop them open.
Cool, right?
Yeah, that's good.
How can cookies?
Yes, okay.
Cookies.
This is from a beloved bakery.
Frisco, Texas.
Marissa Allen really set out to create that ultimate cookie recipe
with that little cookie vendor.
It's a cookie vendor cookie.
And then the sides are all tender on that all around.
It's got a vanilla flavor.
Oh, they don't have the flavors.
So yeah, a cookie.
That's a cookie.
That's a cookie.
Yes, you've got a key.
So many different flavors.
I mean, she is just absolutely killing it.
Her husband used to play for the use in Texans and the chiefs.
So all of her teammates, that's how she tried out all the recipes.
They were her taste testers.
Delicious, right?
So many to try.
Cookie society.
Frames are so cool.
Yes.
All of the celebs are loving this brand.
They are.
Linda Hammond created this.
She's a big success story in the Sunglass world.
Then she came back and started this.
Here we go.
Good.
I mean.
Hey.
I know.
I love it.
So what she has is so many accessible friends too.
They don't break the bank.
Really nice.
I love it.
It's Friday.
It's Friday.
You're the red.
On the red.
Yeah.
I love it.
I love it.
I love it.
Okay.
You can do it.
You can do it.
So really, really cool.
Haley Bieber, Rita Ora, JLo, all fans of this brand, which we love.
Okay.
Let's re-nation.
Okay.
Yes.
You've noticed these plans right away out.
So verdant light.
These are a company based out of South Florida.
Oh, forget it.
And her daughter created this because she really just plans for her therapy.
This is how she really got through some really tough times.
And now she's helping inspiring plant newcomers, plant enthusiasts nationwide.
All of the plants are sourced in South Florida, like I said.
And she has so many different varieties and things for like, you know, if you want to give a little gift,
like delivered to your door like this.
I know.
So so nice.
Verdant light.
You've got a sure of it.
You've got a sure of it.
She's a sure of it.
She's a sure of it.
She's a sure of it.
He's already just about.
I love it.
Okay.
So this is Naked Sunday.
This is a cult favorite.
This was started actually by a fellow news reporter who was outside in the Australian sun because she knew,
like, it's really bad to be outside and not being reapplying your sunscreen.
Which makes it exactly.
Oh, and need a spray.
So you need a spray.
You need a mist.
Yes.
So she has her hydrating glow mist.
All of these products have SPF in them, which is really important.
You've got your foundations, your tints, Naked Sundays is amazing.
A little sweet Georgia brand.
Yes.
Okay.
Chance basketball.
These are so different.
Joyce cow started this company because she wanted to play basketball, but it was really intimidating.
Right?
She just didn't.
She wanted to make sure that this could be very inclusive.
Everybody.
We got everyone going here.
Designs.
You have everything from the strawberries, bananas, but each basketball has the message.
If you want to hold it up, correct?
Chance.
So we want to give everyone a chance to play a sport that maybe they weren't uncomfortable with.
And they now have messages from everyone all over the country saying because of these, they have started to play the game.
My daughter knows.
So I love it.
Right?
And so kids are really excited about it.
That's the message because you want to take a bet, and take a bet, and take a bet on Chance.
Yeah.
Thank you guys.
Thank you.
When we come back, it's two winner-winner chicken dinners.
Joyce is going to show us how to make the most out of one slow cooker recipe.
Go for it, Craig.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Through the legs.
Wow.
Back in the day.
Very nice.
Alright, time to start today with Joy.
Every month, today, nutrition and health expert Joy Bauer puts together some new meal plans, new meal plans that you can find in.
I'll start today's app.

Joyce is going to show us how to get more out of one slow cooker recipe.
Chicken.
Chicken.
So I love this recipe because it's one of those recipes that pretty much cooks itself.
And I'm calling it my salsa pulled chicken.
I do it in a slow cooker.
And so here, I'm just adding the chicken in.
Now I'm going to pour a jar of salsa right over the top.
A heaping tablespoon of taco seasoning.
When you set it, you forget it.
Guys, come back in the kitchen a few hours later.
It smells amazing and look how flavorful and saucy this is.
But the beauty of this dish is that whole steam coming off of it is that it makes five full cups.
So you're not only cooking for one meal.
You could use this during the week for things like wraps or green bowls or tacos or so many things.
So this is your dish.
Here we go.
That's the base.
So now things are going to get really fun because we are making with that same chicken, a cheesy, cozy chicken and chaladas.
There you go.
And again, because the chicken was already done for you, this comes together super duper fast.
So what I do here is I'm putting in, that was a little lunch a lot of sauce.
I add in my salsa chicken, roll it up, more sauce over the top, either Mexican cheese or cheddar cheese.
And then in the oven.
You can stuff it.
You love it?
Yes.
That's really good.
And you can really decorate it any way you want.
You could put like sour cream on it.
I have scallions and jalapenos, but salsa broth.
Do I have the toppings bar?
Joy, could you do the whole slow cooker thing with like a salsa verde?
Yes.
And that is such a great question.
You could switch up the flavor.
And you could also use mild, medium or spicy for the salsa.
So just use your favorite type and it's going to take on the flavor that you want it to.
And remember you're the boss of your sauce.
Boss of your sauce?
Yeah.
Boss of your sauce.
You're the boss of your sauce.
How about a little lettuce wrap?
So here we're taking a different vibe.
It's the same salsa-pull chicken, but we're going to make it light and low carb.
Again, so simple because all I've done, I'm making right here to go on top.
to go on top. That's a lime crema. It's super delicious and it's going to
balance that saucy pulled chicken underneath. But I lay out my lettuce. I put
that chicken on top. You add that lime crema and I did a little bit of zest
for garnish. But again, this could be the bar thing that you were talking about
because you could put a little sprinkle of extra cheese on top. You could do
whatever you want, but you wrap them up just like this. I have avocado in
there and you dig in and it's like layers of scrumptiousness. I think tell us
more about the lime crema. So I use a non-fat Greek yogurt. I'm glad you
ask because it's packed with protein and then I do lime juice. Limes us a little
smoky paprika and garlic and all the two things that I showed you if you
couldn't believe have more than 40 grams of protein per serving and the
servings are hearty and they're lighting calories. So I really think people
enjoy this.
You are the boss of your stuff. That's right. Boss boss.
Joey, thank you. QR code, scan the QR code there to subscribe to the
start today app. You also can get joys recipes from the March meal plan
there as well. And you can take advantage of a seven-day free trial. Third
