Todd Blanche’s DOJ confirmation and the rise in abortion
About this episode
The Senate voted early Saturday morning to confirm acting Attorney General Todd Blanche to permanently lead the Department of Justice. Blanche has pledged to pursue policies limiting the distribution of abortion pills into states where abortion is banned or restricted. Medication abortions now account for the majority of abortions in the US, raising questions not only about access but also about risks to women and the lives of preborn children. Legal restrictions may limit abortion, but they cannot by themselves create a culture that values every human life. Today, we consider what it means to treat every person with the dignity God gives them.
