It's a snow day in the nation's capital…. Much of the federal government is closed…. The House is in a district work period this week… The Senate is in today… but votes have been postponed until tomorrow because of the weather… Of course, the Senate must pass a 6-bill spending package by Friday at midnight to avoid a government shutdown….
