I'm you know, I love to perform I want to fight in front of the big arenas it, but you know, I'm gonna I'll earn my way there I have no problem with going and knocking this kid on the apex I'm super comfortable in the apex. I just thought you know an undefeated Russian Armenian grappler there broke him. I've been there before And yeah, I'm super excited to get back there I think it's a good a fight card for me to go out there and stand out and cash a hundred K. So Yeah, it's gonna be by definitely belonging a big stadium You know people people want to see me fight. I'm a big draw But I have no problem going and knocking this kid out and then you know Hopefully on the next one to get in a big arena or something. Mm-hmm. What was it? I've watched that fight over and over again and uh I was beating him up the first two and I've meant to fight you know, stop two of his takedowns Had a minute of control time in the front head lock and then uh It was cool to to get clips like that and go through that hard first round still end the round on top Never needed the bell or the ref to save me one time And then just you know, keep walking that kid down and breaking him It just kind of reminded me of you know who I am and I am who I say I am and it was kind of cool to To show everybody else that you know because I obviously talked the way I talked caring myself the way I Carrying myself and to go up there and shut out a lot of the the haters

They're coming from wrestling background And I don't really have a lot of people in the gear that are like my goals be a G world champion I have a few, but most people are MMA guys wrestlers, no G guys So I'm just like well, I'm gonna start kind of moving in that direction. I mean my no G-classes are just absolutely packed When I was teaching a lot of the G-classes my G-classes were packed too So I mean hard to say hard to say with the kids we have the kids do G- twice a week And then no G- and wrestling the other three days of the week So we're trying to mix it up But again to keep up I'm glad the UFC is gonna start Keating away from these like Russian or just guys who are pinning people because I'm like for me I'm looking at it and I'm like I need to start training these kids at four five six seven years old If we're gonna keep up with those guys in the future at all But now I mean rumour has it. They're trying to get away from these guys that are just have submissions on the record That just hold people down when Sean Shelby when McManard look at those topologies and shirt dogs

1:05:27I know for a fact they want to see TKO or KO on there and that's gonna help you big time Yeah, how do you feel about the trend of Matching up guys more so for styles and exciting fights rather than just that number next to their name I mean, I think Sean Shelby and those guys are so fucking good at matchmaking They've been they're the black belts at matchmaking. I think they're so good and I mean the grapplers would run through it everyone if they didn't do that most of the time Are you referring to like the MVP matchup? Well, just all all matchups in general in MVP one that that took me you know by aside Like I didn't think that was the type of matchup they would be going for for a guy like him I kind of think it makes sense because he's such an entertaining fighter not that matchup But I always thought he was in a weird spot because I could never see him being champion in the UFC at this point of his career But he's so exciting and he's right on the threshold of like a top five top three Like if you could beat Jared canna near like that you're kind of like you know as a lead as it comes in that division

Yeah, and that's the type of fight you want to see in the UFC And I think I mean, I obviously it's got to be organic But the UFC needs a Nick Diaz type character and I think he has the potential to be that I could see that He has the potential because he's genuinely like he's not a bad guy, but he's generally like a bad boy He doesn't give a fuck and he'll talk shit to anybody's face and he he's got great great conditioning The longer the fight goes the better it is in his favor He was a three-time state champion and wrestling so he can wrestle very good Um, I'm pretty excited. They give him a great matchup this first matchup April 4th some guy from Greg Jackson's But I think he has a potential to win a lot of bonuses You could tell he believes it too like he looked me dead in the face and he was like I'm gonna be a world champion
