Part two of our chat blast from the past with Tracy Tudor. Part one aired yesterday. Enjoy. And then I know he's kind of featured at some point in the show, but like, was there this buzz around LA? Like, oh my god, Fredrick is moving to LA from New York City? Freddie was at my house this morning working out in the garage. You know, we don't know. I mean, he's definitely going to make an appearance or two, as you saw in the teaser for the show this season. Who knows what will happen next season? We have to make sure the fans enjoy this season first. And hopefully they get picked up for another one. And maybe Fred joins the cast maybe not. We'll have to watch. Does he live in the hood too? Like, because his house, what I've seen on Instagram, that entrance with that, like where you walk, it's like so gorgeous.

6:08Yeah, he lives about five minutes for me. Yeah, I can't see Fredrick in flag. I could either see a love affair or just like a total cat fight. I have Fredrick in flagged along. Yeah, super friendly. Actually, we all before this all happened, I want to say it was about a month ago, we all went dancing. We went to the addition and they have this lounge downstairs and we all went out and had a night. That's not going on. Yeah, I like that. I like that. What was I going to say? So, how is the market in like, forget about Corona for me? Like, how is that market in LA? Like, is it similar to New York where it's maybe more of a buyer's market and like, it's not like properties are selling for, you know, sellers are still not lowering their prices completely. Like, is it a similar market up there? Well, if you take Corona out of the equation, like, it's, which is hard to do right now, I would say that the LA market is adjusting, but in a healthy way. I mean, I think that it was,

7:16it's, you know, it shifts constantly and usually when it goes into too much of a buyer's market, then we start to see a shift together way. And I've been in the business 20 years, so I've been through some recessions and, you know, I kind of know what to expect. And I think we're probably, you know, going to experience a little bit of that in the coming couple of years, but I think right now, we're moving into a little bit more of a buyer's market considering everything. I mean, we can't not consider what we're all living right now. And I think it's obviously going to play into what we're experiencing as brokers in California, but also the number of deals that we're going to do this year. And the deals the buyers are going to be in it. New York is very similar as well. You know, like, it's not like sellers are dropping their prices immensely. They're coming down, but you know, it's still like, you know, I think like in New York, you're not going to get like a steal ever. It's just that's not the market. I think LA seems to be similar from what you're saying.

8:19Oh, yeah. And you know, it's like anything that is, you know, priced, what would be considered a steal, then it goes into multiple. So the market's always going to adjust. We're never going to be, you know, underpriced so much. I've never actually had a client that's walked away from a deal and been like, wow, I really won that one. Yeah, that's true. It's just the nature of the beast and it's constantly fluctuating. And right now, I make investment towards obviously in the buyer's direction. That's true. And then how is Corona playing into this? Like, you're still now doing just like virtual showing? That's kind of how it's working. We're saying really on top of it. And Santa Monica and Malibu have just told us that we can now actually do, you know, showings and take precautions. LA, we're still sort of on lockdown. We can only do virtual showings. However, like, you know, some of us are doing, you know, with developer property, that no one's living in, you know, if we can get the agent to open up the door and let us walk

9:22through, I'm doing, I've got clients in New York looking for investment property here. So, I'm doing face times with them from different, you know, different investment. We'll see what happens. What was I got to say? So let's talk about, all right, let's talk about your book now. We then will go on to another topic, a fun topic. But this, I want to hear about this book too. So, all right. So fear is a four letter word, which is coming out on July 14. Talk to me about this book. I mean, a long road. I've never written a book before. I was just completely green to the entire experience. But it was the last six months of my well, now eight months of my life, to get this.

12:29And it's something that I've wanted to do for a long time because I feel like being a woman in business and particularly in this, you know, fear plays a big role. And when you're going up, you know, you're going out for big listing appointments for $20, $30, $40 million deals or even a $5 million deal. And you're competing in this space on top of your team. And I think, you know, we carry so much fear with us all the time. And so I think being 20 years in the business, this book is really just about the lessons that I learned through telling some of the fucking crazy stories that I have. And just tips for, you know, women in particular getting into the business or getting into any business and things that you can do to sort of put the fear at the door and walk in and own any room that you're in. That makes sense. And you know, because it's coming out on July 14, I mean, I don't know what's going to happen with the world. But I mean, I think you might be on a mini book tour. You might come to New York. Well, I, you know, the book was intended to come out earlier and we decided to postpone

13:36the launch until July. So my hope is that we'll be able to, you know, be able to tour and, you know, meet some of the fans and sell the book. But right now we are in presales and, you know, the fans are buying the book on Amazon and Penguin Random House. And, you know, we're just hopeful that we're able to get it out there. People. That's awesome. Well, I'm going to buy a copy. And if you come to the anywhere in the New York City area, I will be there. I'll buy a second copy. I love it. I love me a good book signing a book tour. So when I saw July 14, I'm like, all right, well, you know, you could do this late late July early August. This is what I'm predicting for you. What was I going to say? Do you get a lot of DMs from women who like see you on the show and are like, you know, being the only woman and are just like, you go, girl, so to speak? I mean, most of my following are, you know, women between 25 and 45. And I have, it's, you know,

14:3770% of the people that follow me are female. And so I speak to them. You know, I think something about, you know, I don't always say everything the right way, but I'm authentic as I possibly can be. I curse, I screw up, I drink sometimes, I work my ass, I take care of my kids, I'm divorced, and I'm fun. So like, good bad and ugly, I think that resonates with some women somewhere. And now the world that we're in and the world that we're living in, like we need more women to like get out there and be a little more fearless. And so I think that's why, you know, I am on the show and luckily able to write a book and who knows where it goes next. See, I think you would also have the gay fans too because you are a fabulous, well, and I'm not just saying this, but, you know, not to discredit your business because that's amazing, but out of like my style of sessions on

15:41Bravo, and I'm not just saying this to kiss your ass, you are like in my top five. Like your style is on point. Thank you. Well, I do, in terms of like to go back, the, the gay men that are in my life, and there are men. I have East Coast and West Coast, as I like to refer to them, and we fight over each other all the time. But they've been my biggest support system. And in terms of like giving me confidence, you know, particularly after I got divorced. I mean, I was surrounded by gorgeous gay men who are successful and they were like, girl, get your ass back out there and go. And so I just, I got in shape. I was like, you know what, I'm going to do me and, you know, and when I walk into a room and I'm dressed well, the guys love it. So, you know, what girl doesn't want to be surrounded by a bunch of men who are like, you're fabulous. Well, that's why people are always like, how are you friends with all these real housewives? I'm like, it's not that

16:42big a stretch. Like gay men and like women who are around the same age, like, who else you want me to be friends with. This is what I do for a living. Like, it makes sense. Gay men and women are the perfect combination. Now, okay. So talk to me because I was at BravoCon all three days. I saw you there. I mean, I've made you other times too when you've been in New York doing press, but I was at BravoCon. So talk to me because you were a fan of Bravo. Like, I mean, you must have not a lot of Bravo liberties before, but like where you just like loving being at BravoCon. I mean, it was fun as hell. I mean, primarily to MDL New York and MDL LA are rarely altogether. So it was nice to kind of have all of us, you know, we were very supportive of each other shows, obviously. So it was nice to have all of us there. But you know, I was in that room and then that green room backstage, like, and these watchpappans and there was like 60 Bravo

17:44liberties or whatever I was beside myself. And you know, I had to like find my way around and they introduced myself and some people I was like, Nurtley. Nurtley. I don't want to say anything like. I was like retarded. I had to like have a few cocktails to, you know, work at the courage to talk to certain people. I had a friend that was back there that went with one of the Jersey housewives she was her plus one it's someone we built know and she basically said the same thing she was like I was not even about to go over anywhere anywhere. I do not know anywhere near that but like I looked from afar she looks good. No, we had a super cool she's very chill like she's got that like deep voice and she's just like you know like she's like been there and done that she you know she like this is like old hat to me

23:02and I'm like you know like a little work. Just totally. Did you have any interactions backstage with Sonia or Ramona? Yeah. Sonia I've actually gone out with with Flag once. Yeah. I've had a couple of interchange with her Ramona. I didn't watch what happens with so that's right. Yes. She's an interesting wide. She's an interesting one that one. I forgot. I mean that's the thing. Sonia when Sonia comes here her and Flabber out all the time. It's hilarious. At that I forgot the I go there at that gay piano bar in Newtown. I'm part that Flag always has to go to we try to drive me there and want to do like a YouTube thing and I was like no. The townhouse it's so much fun. Yes. Yes. It's so much fun. I still have yet to go.

24:04It's a really good time. It's like it's what you expect. It's a piano bar at the club. Excuse a little bit older but like you can do your own thing and it's like it's like a nice old school setting. It's really fun actually. But um, and what about the Atlanta like did you interact with like I'm trying to think like Porsche Cynthia where you just like oh my god. And by the way I went Cynthia actually a couple times after that I saw like a charity event a little while ago. She's lovely. Like like stunning. Like the woman is bananas or I would agree with that. And just really cool and like unaffected and I really really enjoyed her. And I wasn't like Uber and Herbist to meet her so I could like put a sentence together. She was literally I would agree that she is literally drop dead gorgeous. I love her. I'm trying to think who else from New York? Durrinda? Any interactions with Durrinda? To Durrinda.

25:06Um, who else did I talk to? I talked to a few of the below. Hello Deck. What's her name? The first. K-Chastain. Yeah, K. She was cool and I talked to her. It was late um, Tancy was sweet. Um, who else did I talk to? I really mostly enjoyed talking to Steve Gold though. Don't even get me started. Don't even get me started. We not like it's and I'm just I'm loud about it. I'm loud and proud. Frederick, I was like listen. I love him. And if and when that man is no longer that woman, I'm available. You guys would be actually a really good match. I think that you should put in a good word for me, David. People ask me this all the time, Tracy. And they're like, I don't like it's not even they're like, who is the hottest guy? I'm like by far the hottest guy that has ever existed.

26:12You're amazing. This is a bravo period. The 100%. He's, it's like ridiculous. It's not even normal. And he's like shy and like kind of, you know, he knows he's hot, but it's like sort of subtle. I know. He know he's shy. He's not like an asshole. He's like understated. I know. And he has good fashion. Like I just everything. So. And I thought I would go out with another real estate. I would. Really? Break it. Yeah, I would. You want someone with a different story? So would you. Say it again. Sorry. You broke up again. I said, I said, I would break my no, no real estate broker role for Steve Gold. And you would you would do the same. I cannot even like before I met him. I was this is tells you about me before I met him. I was literally like, well, I mean, I get that he's probably not at all his listings. But I was like, I'm just going to go to an open house.

27:13And I'm just going to keep going until he's actually out one of them. This was my plan in life. Now I've since met him. But before that, I was like, it's really simple. Like he lives really close to where I live in Chelsea. I mean, not that I'm the show up at his apartment. But like, he's a real estate agent. There's open houses every weekend. I realized that he's probably not the one doing them all the time. But I'm like, eventually he has to be at one, right? He's just so so you were happy to meet him. Yeah. Love him. He's hot. Um, what was I going to say? Would you, if you had to have someone sell your house or buy something in L.A., who would you hire? You would have to hire like one of the brits, fault man or flag. Who would you go in? Oh, that's hard. Um, and I do ask James and David the same question. I'll tell you their answer afterwards. I think all of them.

28:14Because I feel like he's such a hustler. Like, you know, if I actually said you could keep the commission and it's not coming back, it's not rolling back to me. Like, I feel like Josh would like go out and get me like, hustle me a deal. I could see that. Yeah. I could totally see that. James and David, James said flag just because they're like, buddies and it will be a great time. And David was like flagged because he basically grew up in L.A. and knows like every street and every person that lived in every house ever. Yeah. I think that was pretty. It was kind of between all and in flag, but flag is like flag doesn't really cross the 405. So it's like, it knows the grid of the Beverly Hills flat. And then you really try not to go outside of it. I think they would absolutely have like, you know, free rain as would I. But I just feel like, you know, life styles would line up better. I agree. And they would look perfect for all the events you would go to. That's great. Exactly. Who would you rather... I don't know if I appreciate...

34:22What about Mary, Shag, Kill, Between... And... Flag... Well, let's say James, David, and Altman. Let's go with the three straights. The tough one, right? I think I would Shag... James... I would marry Altman and I would kill David. I think I might have the same answer. If you like Altman is a really good husband. He is so devoted to Heather. I just feel like he's the bomb. I feel like James would be so frantic all the time. I'd like kill him. But he'd be fun to have sex with. There's something about... I mean, I'm just... I don't really... Can you be so excited right now? Just wants to win. I have a soft spot for Josh Altman. I mean, having never met him, but just as a viewer, there's something about him that I really thoroughly enjoy. I'm telling you, deep down he's such a sweet heart.

35:23He's such a big personality. All of that stuff and the big cars and the flash. He really is kind of like a softie. He's such a cute daddy and such a good husband to Heather. I'm a fan. Big fan. And I was with her in Aspen a little bit. And so she's just a hoot. Like, she gets down. And I love Mauricio, so I have to always go with Kyle. The Beverly Hills girls have fun. 38:27to a crossover with Kat and Sandy. Um, it's... I'm in. I'm in. I'm in. It's funny, because I have a friend that wants it is to go on this past season. She was like, let's just do this. But my thing is, I'm like a traveler. And I don't really like going back to where I've already been and like where it was going. I'm like, I've already been to all these places just to be on below deck. I'll pass. But if they went somewhere I never... But my friend was literally like getting a group of us together to do it. And I'm like, Mrs. Stupid, let's not do it. Oh my god, I've been so on that train. I got heartbeat. And you prefer Kat and Sandy over Kat and Lady. Yeah, I like Kat. I like that Kat and Sandy. She's fun. She's also very nice. Also really kind, unaffected, smart. And you know, there's just not a lot of like, you know, captains out there in that world, in the yachting world. Like she's one of the very, very small group. That's true.

39:28Any thoughts before we wrap up on why like a million dollar listing Miami and San Francisco didn't work out? I mean, I know you're not like behind, I'm just like in your opinion. I don't know. I mean, I didn't watch San Francisco. So it's tough to say. And again, I told you I didn't really watch my any of the million dollar listing before I was on it. But my guess is it always boils down to like chemistry. Like you just, you know, like I just think between the agents and sort of figuring that piece out. Like at the end of the day, it's really good real estate porn. And then, you know, a bunch of different personalities where you throw them all in one room. And it's like just bananas. And that's I think what keeps the show on it. It can't just be the real estate porn. True. And I mean, I think that's the thing about million dollar listing LA in New York. Like I don't think there's one week link. Like it's so well cast. Both of them. They're both like so strong as far as the cast goes. Thank you.
