When I got the call from the manager to say Brisbane were keen, I was like, you're joking. Like, I couldn't believe it, because they were flying, and I was like, I'm thinking, you know, I'm just a midfielder and another midfielder in the trade. There might be up for grabs, but Tom was adamant that he wanted me. That process was strange, because I was like, I can't believe Brisbane Lions actually are considering wanting me. A lot of times, people do their best work when things are going hopeless. Swannies' best work, everyone will now remember him for winning the premiership and setting up back-to-back, but it was when they were shot

All the boys go to the fridge, we just look at this cafeteria, the uni, where they're always a grab and chocolate milks and coax out at lunch, and I should remember him.
