Now we're in a transition a little bit.
Come on, let's go on this world money.
Mollie and Ha, we of course broadcast live from the Scores Hyundai Studios,
brought to you by your local Hyundai dealers,
want to thank them for their contribution.
Thanks to Jacob Stutz, he gets us twitching away every morning
and thanks to everyone for calling, texting, emailing.
Most of all, thank you for listening on this April Fool's Day.
Yeah, be careful.
Careful out there.
Don't fall into that trap.
And we want to thank our executive producer.
He's not here, but he deserves our thanks.
Just for taking the day.
He's Dustin, William William Rhodes.
I bet your PCA could bust a 4.55.
I think so, I think he could break 4.4 if I'm being honest.
He gets fast.
Oh, Sean.
And Sean Sears, thank you for that wonderful contribution.
He's a backup and a friend and prior.
Thank you, buddy, for your contribution.
Let's see how well you know your fellow colleagues.
Which current head coach was drafted the highest?
I'll just say Jim Harball.
Jim Harball?
It's got to be Harball, right?
Dmitco Ryan's.
It's probably their Jim or Dmitco, right?
I mean, initially, I think, a Aaron Glinn.
You are correct.
Which current head coach beat out Calvin Johnson
for Georgia State Player of the Year?
I mean, he talks about it all the time.
Sean McVeigh.
McVeigh.
Oh, it's Sean McVeigh.
That was Sean McVeigh, right?
Which current head coach had both Jamar Chase
and Justin Jefferson in his position room?
Joe Brady.
Joe Brady.
Joe Brady.
Oh, that's Joe Brady.
Joe Brady.
Joe Brady.
That's fun.
Ben Johnson knows all the right answers.
Yes, he does.
And again, they were asked who was the computer
science math major, and no one got it.
But Ben said, I believe that would be me.
So pretty good.
Marshall Harris.
There he is.
He's right there.
What up, Moby?
What up, Paul?
What was your major?
Marshall.
It was a communication.
Oh, OK.
No S. I always had to say no S.
Communication.
You're majoring in communications?
No, just communication.
One.
My brother, my brother!
My brother!
Hi.
Mark, you're majoring in Hall of Fame, I believe.
He's a Hall of Fame.
I need no major because I am major.
OK, that's what I've been told.
By the way, I see Sean.
That's a general consensus.
I see Sean Sears over there laughing.
Let's get PCA an invite to the combine next year.
You think so?
Why couldn't he run a 4-4?
You guys really think that that's crazy to think
that he could run a 4-4-4?
I think baseball speed is very different than football speed
and relative to other baseball players.
He looks very, very fast because there's a lot
of small baseball players out here.
Pretty, he didn't run a 4-4 yesterday.
Well, maybe he shouldn't have run a 4-4 yesterday.
He should have held back just a little bit out there
and set a field.
Did he just say until he makes those catches more times
than now?
No, you're right.
This is not going to be a slam.
Yeah, more times than now.
I don't have a hot take.
I want you to leave him alone.
I think there will be, I would be curious
to see how he would be running straight ahead,
how fast he could go in being,
you know, like a combine type situation.
No, no, I'm not.
The Chicago Sports Combine.
I'm with you on that.
He majored in speed.
That's right.
I will say this.
The moment when you guys were doing the math on this,
you Sean Sears and David Hall handwritten,
that is my favorite moment of this show,
maybe of all time, because I'm a math guy.
I love crunching numbers.
It was an algebraic equation.
You did, you saw for X?
Good job.
Did that.
Fortunately, you did it incorrectly.
No.
That was my fault.
I gave him the wrong numbers.
He got bad numbers.
He can only be as good, he's a computer,
but he can only be as good as the numbers.
I can't get in the right number.
You did, you did.
No, the right one.
Yeah, but it wasn't accurate,
because you didn't take into account that he was already,
once one starts running,
the first 10 of the 40 yard dash is the slowest portion of it.
You needed a strong finish.
You didn't give him a kick.
When Sean and I were performing overnight
when we lost Grover, RIP to the Great Grover's,
Bobblehead's song, well, there's his name plates,
right there, you better keep it there, Grody.
We were, we'd like to say we were kind of
on the ground floor of the show.
I think so, yeah, we were definitely,
yeah, we were there, yeah, we were there.
We were there, we were living there.
You know, we needed hours and hours to discuss things,
and PCA was definitely a theme
when he was first traded to the Cubs.
So we thought we invented it,
and we weren't sure he was real,
right, and we thought he invented them in the lab.
Right, right, right.
We were the first ones to talk about him
and everybody else just followed our lead,
because everybody listens to overnight radio.
Well, I think though that David was the first one
to interview him, and they interviewed him quite often,
and I would be to the major leagues.
We did interview him quite a bit when he was at Iowa,
and then called up, and we was a,
it was a Saturday morning, and I wouldn't say,
overdone.
There's nothing wrong with having PCA,
and if you had a minor in week, that would be sick, actually.
We had a pretty good rapport with him.
He's an easy guy to interview,
and he came across early on, and he's early on,
he's 24 years old.
So this is when he was a minor leager, affable,
articulate, just the kind of guy
that makes a good interview.
It's such a, he's such a, I know we got to go here.
He's often bruised too.
He's, he's dead.
He's such a juxtaposition in terms of his personality
and the flair, and then when he talks, the humility is real.
Like you wouldn't, I'm always blown away by that.
It's a perfect word to them, Margaret.
Right, thanks.
That's a Hall of Fame word.
It's a juxtaposition.
Mass communications.
I have a, there's an S on the end of communications.
Oh, was it mass communications?
Yeah, that's what they, yes, I was mass communications.
And then you went to class, and then you went back to mass.
That's right, that's right.
Absolutely.
I forgive me for my sins, yes.
Theology student.
It's a good thing.
It is only week.
It's only week.
How were you handling what is left of this particular show?
Yeah, this show's almost over because we are out of here at 1245 for the shorted Cubs
baseball today.
See if Cubs can rebound, see if Matthew Boyd can rebound against the halos today.
But anyway, we will be talking about Ben Johnson doubling down on completion percentage.
We have hot audio from the head coach of the Bears, from the owner's meetings.
We have Mike Florio talking all things NFL at 11 o'clock.
We are going to talk about the Cubs to the game last night.
Moreover, Tommy Hadovi sang to you guys that he is, that he loved what he saw from
show to him and Aga and is very encouraged.
We also had some great stuff from Nico Horner regarding Edward Cabrera.
Have a good show to phone.
Great show.
Thanks.
