He often would make me nervous. But he would sometimes, he would hold that ball out there while he was running. And it was something to see that he was able to do. Sometimes he would throw the football too. Did not know that. Well, Jay, you were talking during the break about catching passes from your son over the weekend. And I said, hey, can your son throw the ball a little bit? And made me think of when your dad played, the thing about it was he could throw the ball further than any quarterback. He could throw a country mile. He was, he loved playing the quarterback position. He wished he was taller so he could actually play. But it's just amazing to see all the highlights and all the history. So Brandon, I appreciate you for re-racking that, man. I think he would have really appreciated the Bears running game from yesterday. How about that? Good segue. What? Unbelievable. This, this offense is built on this running game, man. It's, to have both guys go over a hundred.

6:08I thought probably Swift would get most of the action, but to have two guys. Well, I think I disrespected Kamenanga unintentionally because I said something we got a little back and forth earlier. I said, it surprised me that he was able to run away from the defenders the way that he did. I said the same thing. I thought he was a downhill runner, not a run away from runner. Yeah. And he's a guy that proved that differently yesterday. That was a great run, downfield blocking galore, but he did, he did the hard stuff. Oh, no, yeah. He had some breakaway speed there. And the blocks were absolutely key. I mean, you have those blocks in the linebacking level of the defense. And those were, those were, the misdirection looks alone. Our worth of discussion and another dive and a look at the tape because they were so good. Yeah, it's funny because you talk about the two getting the 100 yard rushing days. It was last year in Philadelphia when they did that as well. And it had been since Walter Peyton, your dad, by the way, and Matt Suey, both had had it. And then they do it again to start the season. But there's nothing more indicative of this Bears offense and the NFL offense.

7:12It is that what the Bears did. Hey, guys, you were maybe in a pre-show meeting, but we talked to Big Z when he got back from his delayed flight. He said he talked to Jalen Phillips after the game. Jalen Phillips was on the Eagles defense last year during when the Bears ran all over Philadelphia on Black Friday. And Jalen Phillips says that's the same team. It's the exact same team. That's really interesting to see one guy, two different teams, two different seasons. That's the consistency and the carryover you see from one year to the next. I think that was also, we talked about this in our pre-show meeting, the battle that was going on between Jalen Phillips and Caleb Williams because Jalen got a couple on him. Jalen flushed him out of the pocket pretty good. He was a force. I see why the pay-off there signed him. But to run the ball the way they did in today's NFL and come away with 59 points and show you left points on the board, that's as dominant of a performance as we've seen. Derri say since one that the Lions had last year. I mean, I was there. And I posted this.

8:13I was more impressed with Swift and especially, even anything outside that was, he would press to the hole and then keep everything frontside. Because running backs always have a tendency to want to cut everything back. And that's not always that. It's about trusting what you see, getting to that point. And then bursting through the hole. And so just to watch him run in between the tackles, he do it is. And you know what, they referenced this on the broadcast, which I thought was outstanding by the way. But Deandre Swift being such a willing blocker in past protections. Two days after signing a deal that guarantees him like $27 million for the next three years. Stick my face. That's a guy that's not afraid to play football. Everybody knew how to block. It's one thing to ask your receivers to do it when they're smaller too, but when they actually successfully block downfield or they successfully attempted setting an edge or at least creating enough space, that was a big deal to me in this game. I mean, it shows that they're actually practicing this stuff during practice. Like these, these guys want to block. I know it.
