When it comes to histamine intolerance,
the connections often seem quite random.
Wine can trigger symptoms.
Dust in the house can trigger them too.
Certain medications can as well.
Some people react to coffee, but not everyone.
Even intense exercise can push histamine higher.
And sometimes it's environmental things
people overlook like mold in a washing machine
This is the histamine intolerance podcast.
I'm Tony Wright in this podcast
is for informational purposes.
Only if you need medical advice, please see a doctor.
Slightly tinny sound to tell you
on a very small booth in the little co-work facility
where I live or in Portugal.
Recording, the histamine intolerance podcast.
I don't want it to do a podcast today on unexpected symptoms
and unexpected triggers as well.
Because this is the thing about histamine intolerance.
There are so many strange elements to it.
I think with a lot of things out there,
it's quite easy to say, okay, if I'm intolerant to gluten,
I just know, I look at a label and I know that's it.
But with histamine intolerance, it's not just about diet,
it's about as we've just said,
wine, dust, coffee, medications, exercise.
And it can also be about things like stress and sleep,
All of these things can spike histamine just as much
as what's on your plate.
So what we want to do is find out those triggers
and at the same time, not let it completely do our heads in
and worry about every little thing
that might be in our environment.
Give you a little example.
I realized the other day our new sheets were not 100% cotton
but had some polyester in them.
That's the sort of thing I worry about.
So understanding the connection is often the moment
things start to make sense.
And I want to encourage you today.
Most people are only looking at their plate
when they think about histamine intolerance.
I want you to think about the whole picture.
If your symptoms don't make sense,
if you've got mystery symptoms
and you can't quite explain them,
no one can explain them, histamine intolerance
could be the missing piece
and it might be unexpected triggers.
And then you look at some of the symptoms,
flushing, anxiety, gut issues, headaches, insomnia
and you used to be fine as well.
As you know, I'm a best-selling author
on histamine intolerance.
I've lived with it myself as well.
If you want to find out more about this,
I'm running some free master classes at the moment
which have been, wow, I can't believe
how many people are coming.
You would not believe the attendance
for these master classes.
Sometimes over 100 people a day
come into this master class.
If you'd like to join the next one,
I'll put a link in the show notes.
I will look in detail at the frustrating
and misunderstood elements of histamine intolerance,
why it's so hard to feel good on it
and what actually helps.
And how to support lower histamine levels
and manage symptoms starting today.
You can go to TonyWiton.com slash histamine,
slash reset, slash formula.
That's, I need to get a better URL than that, don't I?
I need to up my game a little bit.
But I'll put it in the notes as well.
Thank you for listening to this podcast.
I wish you all the best.
I hope you're feeling good.
Remember, mold hides in odd places.
Yeah, just recently we went on a little trip to Seville
and I packed my electric toothbrush
and I realized after a day,
because the electric toothbrush comes
with that little sort of plastic sheet
that you put over the top of it.
And I didn't normally use it.
But I realized at the end of the day,
my toothbrush was still wet from what I'd used it in the morning
and I was like, hang on, then I looked at it
and there were sort of black bits in there.
And of course it was, it's warm in Seville
and it was the perfect breeding ground
for a tiny little bit of mold on my toothbrush.
And coincidentally, it coincided
with a slight triggering of symptoms.
Not major, I would say I'm genuinely 98% better
But I was sort of thinking,
what's going on, I haven't felt like this for a while.
So yeah, mold on the toothbrush, not nice.
I can guarantee you I haven't used that since.
So yeah, come to the Masterclass.
I'd love to talk to you more about this.
There's a private chat in there as well
seeing send me messages.
Let me know what you think.
And in the meantime, have a lovely, low histamine day.
