Troye Sivan's Penfolds Collab, AI Vine Health, Sparkling Wine Release

Australian pop star Troy Sivan has teamed up with the famous South Australian wine brand,

Pinfolds, as their new creative partner. He is designing limited edition bottles of their

premium Ben 389 wine, including a gift box and a rare 1.5 liter magnum. Each bottle features

hand-wrapped tissue paper with images from Sivan's personal photos. Meanwhile, researchers at Adelaide

University are using artificial intelligence to boost vine health in South Australian vineyards.

Working with local growers, they deploy drones and machine learning to spy diseases by

powdery mildew and bunch rot early. These tools could save the industry up to $300 million

a year in losses. Over at Chapel Hill winery, they are releasing their first sparkling wine in

20 years, a shardonnay Pinot noir from the Adelaide Hills price. Around $25,

Winemaker Michael Frago says the region is perfect for bubbles and it takes extra care to make

them just right. Young wine professionals have a new shot at global exposure through a scholarship

from wine Australia. Ten people age 35 and under can get funding to attend the Institute of Masters
