Trump Furious as Massive Criminal Indictment Released

1:00who was Baron Trump's one of his idols in a way. Romanian prosecutors this morning have formally indicted, the social media influencer on charges of trafficking minors, money laundering, and witness tempering. His brother Tristan was indicted as an accessory. Prosecutors alleged the brothers ran a scheme where they recruited victims by falsely promising relationships or even marriage, forcing one woman to produce pornographic content for a webcam business. One alleged victim was just 15 years old when Tate seduced her back in Britain in 2012. He then allegedly moved her to Bucharest Hungary and use, or sorry, Bucharest Romania and use physical violence and mental intimidation to sexually exploit her. Prosecutors say the brothers kept $1.25 million from that single video, the single victim's video chat income, roughly 80% of everything she earned. Both brothers hold US and Britain British citizenship and are currently sitting in a US jail where a judge is weighing a British extradition request

2:01tied to separate charges. They deny all of it. This isn't the first time Romania has come after the Tates. They've actually been under investigation since December, 2022 and a previous indictment collapse after a court found what it called significant irregularities that kept the case from ever reaching trial. The Tate's lawyer is leaning hard saying that this new indictment does not determine guilt but under Romanian law, the brothers could actually be tried in absentia, meaning without ever being physically present in the country. The first issue here is the case is goes to a preliminary court chamber for a legality review. Those routinely take far longer than the 60 days the law technically allows. It's also unclear whether or not Romania will seek to extradite the Tates from the United States given that the United Kingdom has its own extradition request in right now. It comes as we're learning about a genuinely new brutal Wall Street Journal investigation into Senator John Federman based on interviews with staff and other individuals. Here are the highlights. Senator John Federman canceled on three paralyzed veterans

3:02who traveled to DC to discuss their care, showing up less than an hour later for a Fox News interview. He reportedly refused meetings with constituents and lawmakers, including Pennsylvania and seeking help on Medicaid, homelessness and flood relief. He reportedly asked why he had to meet with the children's hospital Philadelphia chop and reportedly said, quote, they just want free trips to DC. He skipped 11 of 12 full committee hearings during a stretch. Later had AIDS helping shore. He was marked present at hearings even when he reportedly stayed for a minute or less. He backed out of a funeral for three slain police officers after learning it with last three hours responding, quote, three hours question mark. He stopped regularly attending caucus meetings, told Israel's ambassador he would write an op-ed based on points the ambassador sent over. And as he staff later send draft talking points, but veterans own staff withheld them over concerns about potential foreign agents registration act issues, Farah. And former staffers say he has increasingly prioritized conservative media appearances and advocacy for Israel over basic senate work.

4:06They are calls for John Federman now to resign. And it comes as redistricting is back in the news. Two courts have upended redistricting one for 2026 and one to 2028. The Missouri Supreme Court ruled unanimously. Seven to zero to block a Trump approved Jerry Mandor congressional map from being used in November. The map would have cut through the core of Kansas City in an apparent attempt to dilute the minority vote and unseat longtime democratic congressman Emmanuel Cleaver who is black. The court found a referendum petition with more than 300,000 signatures against the map was legal and valid. Rejecting the argument from the Republican Secretary of State that referendums don't apply to congressional maps. Missouri's Republican attorney general, Seschel, appeal straight to the Supreme Court and well, Trump was furious. He went on truth social calling the ruling horrible, ridiculous, an unconstitutional and claimed without evidence there won't be enough time to redraw the map before the election. He called it a dark day for justice in Missouri worth noting five of the seven justices on the court were appointed

5:06by Republican governors. A lot of people have asked me, well, Aaron, what happens next now that this happened? We don't fully know just yet. But the overarching rumor based on what I understand right now is that each party would essentially pick their candidates under the old maps and the old maps would hold, meaning folks like Emmanuel Cleaver who retired because of the newly drawn Jerry Manderd maps could theoretically come back to Congress should he want to. And on this very same day, the Maryland Supreme Court dealt Trump and Republicans a second setback. Reversing two lower courts to allow a democratic backed redistricting measure onto the November ballot, that measure wouldn't change this year's midterm maps, but it voters approve it. It could let Democrats redraw Maryland's map to target the states one remark Republican held House seat, governor Westmore called it a massive victory for the people of our state. I do want to briefly touch on what happened this morning in the Lindsey Clancy trial. It erupted over a new Jerry note, the Jerry note saying

6:06that essentially we have a juror who cannot adequately follow the judge's instruction as it relates to reasonable doubt. Attorney Reddington this morning here's what I wrote. Prosecutor Jennifer Sprague argued against further questioning of jurors saying the note reflects normal deliberation over how to weigh evidence rather than any signs of bias or inability to deliberate. And that jurors should have me asked about the personal views on the case. Defense attorney Kevin Reddington pushed back hard accusing one juror whom he didn't name of lying under oath by claiming to follow the judge's instruction while actually acknowledging doubt, but refusing to apply the reasonable doubt standard to reach a not guilty verdict. Reddington pointed to two separate jury notes as evidence to juror has expressed doubt but won't act on it. Judge Sullivan ultimately refused to question the jury saying he does not want to invade on the province of the jury. And it comes as we now have an unearthed video showing police officers being trained on how to use flock cameras to target protesters. I'm actually an incident commander and you're working this no Kings protest. For the sake of the call, we put this in Denver as an example.

7:08It's what you're looking at here is I'm an officer. I can see the response plan that's included. I can pull that up if I need it, but I can also see live video footage as that protests moves throughout the park. Me as an incident commander, I want to keep officers out of that. I want to keep folks from making it worse and getting attention, right? And so I'm going to keep people out in the perimeter. I've got this live video footage to monitor and I know when things are starting to go sideways. I know when the environment is starting to shift. But I also know a lot of other things as well. I can see traffic flow. So as people are blocking the roadway, maybe that's okay for a while, but if I see that that traffic has been stopped a while, I may need to send officers to that area because I know that road rage is imminent. When you look at what to look for in technology, look for what is always going to be ready? What can I put in place that if I need it, I can turn that camera around to face this direction instead. What can I put in place that gives me the most amount of coverage, whether that's dual lens PTZ with a wider lens, DFR, whatever the case is,

8:10I want to make sure that I have as many tools to make myself dangerous if and when I need it. You'll see all the intel we had available to us. We knew that this car show was going to happen. We knew that it was likely to turn into some nefarious activity based off of who was promoting the car show. The bottom right corner is a live drone feed from over the top of the parking lot, where again, we could keep an eye on it. As it's looking like just a car show, everything's fine, no problem. If we see people start running, we're going to zoom in and we're going to see if there's some kind of a shooting, right? As we saw cars start to spin circles in the middle of the parking lot, as soon as they exit at that parking lot, officers would let them get far enough away from the scene, and then they would enact a traffic stop. And this made sure that we were acting on all of this bad behavior, but we were doing so in a way that was safe. Now, the last piece I think is most impactful is things to look for at the top. With all this research that we had, we knew if you see these types of cars, there's a good chance that this event is going to start to turn and in a direction we don't want it to turn.
