Trump HUMILIATED As Irish Trip BACKFIRES

0:00So it is currently six in the morning on the East Coast. Yes, I am awake. Yes, I am covering the story. And Donald Trump just landed in Dublin, Ireland on one of his few international trips. Now, they're framing this as he's going to meet with the leaders in Ireland and it's a diplomatic trip. That's not what actually is happening here. Donald Trump is heading out west after this to go to a golf tournament at one of his different golf courses. So that's what's actually happening. That's why Trump is actually in Ireland. But he's only been there a couple of hours and the trip is already going pretty badly for him. So I want to cover the story and break it all down from what we've seen so far. Let's do it, shall we? So first and foremost, Donald Trump did not get a warm welcome from the locals. I imagine he was expecting a big parade for his arrival. That's not what happened. Matter of fact, people in Ireland are protesting him already. There are protests planned around the country for Donald Trump's arrival in different parts of the country.

1:02But I want to cover two in particular that I found really funny. So check this one out. Donald Trump gets a brutal welcome before he's even arrived on this golf trip. This was a story that came out the other day. He's now arrived. And this is not going to make him happy. A family has prepared a brutal welcome for Donald Trump as he heads to Ireland for a glorified golf trip. The president will land in Dublin on Saturday. He already has. For a brief encounter with the country's top politicians before high-tailing it to his golf course on the West Coast, where the Irish Golf Open Tournament is being held. But Trump will go from the capital to Shannon Airport in County Claire, then travel on Marine 1 to Trump International Golf Links in Dunbegg. But check this out. This is the sign that a family near Shannon Airport has written in their backyard. Their house is in the flight path for the airport. So Donald Trump will be seeing it. And this is the background here. On the flight path to Shannon Airport, one family has left the president a reminder that not everyone is happy that he's in Ireland. An anonymous woman called Leading Radio Network to Day FM

2:02to talk about her foul mouth protest sharing a photograph of her backyard covered in the massive letters. The sign's, the massive sign is much bigger than her home and stretches across her whole yard. And she said, quote, the woman convinced her husband by saying, I've been troubling him for a long time to do this because we knew he was going to be coming. And I just said, come on, come on, keep needling and keep putting the idea in his head. So I think he just gave up and said, come on, we'll do it. That's a good husband right there. And I love that they put this message in their backyard. And it's not just that. It's not the only thing that's taking place in Ireland. Donald Trump was also greeted in Dublin where he landed today with this artwork on Dublin Beach. As you can see, it says, no kings, Gaza, Iran, and ICE. So Donald Trump surely saw this as well as the approach Dublin. And that's the artwork on the beach today. And of course, there are protests, people walking the streets with signs planned all around the country for Donald Trump's arrival, which is great as well. So already the locals are saying, why don't you get out of Ireland? Why don't you kick rocks? But then Donald Trump did actually land. And then he started talking to the media.

3:04And it all went downhill from there even further. So for example, a journalist said, are you concerned with Saudi Arabia and movement in the strait? What are you hearing about that? Have you talked to the Crown Prince? Donald Trump saying, it's all going to work out just fine. News flash, it is not going to work out just fine. That is not really a reassuring answer from the president of the United States. When he's asked about something that's major and taking place in foreign policy right now as we speak, and he just says, well, I think it's going to be fine. I would like more of a concrete plan, a plan of action. You might say for a response to this. And what the journalists is referring to is that these strikes from the Houthis have shut down a key Saudi Arabian pipeline as the Houthis have strengthened their grip on this key shipping lane.

4:04They've now effectively taken over the entire coast in Yemen and they're getting more powerful. And this is all taking place. And Saudi Arabia is now left with some choices to make about what their response is going to be. And of course, all eyes are on the United States of America. We got everybody into this war. And now what are we going to do about it? What are we going to do? Are we going to fight the Houthis? Are we going to not? Are we going to what's the plan? Donald Trump says, don't worry about a plan. It's all going to be just fine. Great. And on the topic of the Iran war, he was also asked by a reporter, the Irish are paying 40% more for home heating oil. And they were before the war, what's your message to them? And he said, as soon as they open up the North Sea, their prices are going to go down yet again, a lack of plan of action from Donald Trump. I was going to be in this question. The North Sea, I guess he's referring to drilling in the North Sea. There is some political debate going on as to whether drilling should happen in the North Sea around the United Kingdom in Europe. There is some conversation about that, but it's still open in terms of trade, if that's what he's referring to. But opening up the North Sea to drilling, if that's what he's talking about, would not bring down prices dramatically.

6:10Of course, doesn't understand the oil markets. It's a global thing, not a domestic thing. So he's just an idiot, but that was his big plan. And the fact that he's saying, Saudi Arabia is going to be fine. Iran's going to be fine. All the oil prices are going to come cratering. It's just so laughable, given everything that's taken place in the last 48 hours. I mean, this is just a short list of everything that's taken place. Check this out. A successful Iraqi hits on the Saudi East, West Pipeline, Pumping Station. There's more of the men-debs straight as being taken over. Iran striking two vessels crossing this route. Somali piracy resurgence in the Gulf of Aden and Somali basin. Diesel prices in the United States hitting all time highs, gasoline in the United States hitting all time highs. I mean, all of this is taking place in the past 24 hours. There's a bunch of war, a bunch of strikes, gas prices are going up, and Donald Trump really has no answer. And then there was a press conference. Donald Trump sat down with the prime minister of Ireland. And he was asked questions by American journalist, Irish journalist. And for example, the first one was, when will the war in Iran end?

7:12And once again, no answer. He just says the usual stuff. It's going to end very soon. Just trust me, which is never a good idea. Looking forward to it. Thank you very much. You're welcome. Thank you. Thank you for having me. Thank you. When will the war ever end? I think, Version. I think it'll be probably right after the election trying to hold out as long as they can to complicate the election. But I think people will want to do it because Iran cannot have nuclear weapons. It's very simple. This is a very simple thing. Iran cannot have. There were two weeks away from having a nuclear weapon. If they had it, they would have blown up Israel. They would have blown up the Middle East. And there would have been some Europe's, in my opinion, Europe's cities and beyond cities. And they were probably in a still. We thought we put out the fire. But they cannot have a nuclear weapon. So that would say, and shortly and well, we'll come tumbling down. What that happens? Oil prices will come tumbling down.

8:15Ah, man. It's so tiring, isn't it? It's the same old stuff. Oh, the war is, they're just holding out a little bit longer. Like, don't worry. It's going to come to an end very soon. And then once it comes to an end, oil prices are going to crumble. Yada, yada, yada. We've heard all of this before from Donald Trump. And nothing has changed. I don't expect anything to change anytime soon. But this is what he is still running with. Here's the next clip I want to show you. Where Donald Trump has actually asked a really interesting question by a journalist. What do you say to some people in Ireland who say the US is facilitating genocide in Gaza and also facilitating Israel around the illegal occupation of territories in the West Bank? And of course, this is a major political divide between the United States and Ireland. Ireland has been very hard on the genocide, the war in the Middle East. They've taken a very anti-Israel stance in that sense. They've stood with Gaza 100% all the way through. Donald Trump, on the other hand, of course, has embraced his buddy Netanyahu. He's been very pro-Israel in that war. And so there is a little bit of a political background here

9:17that's kind of fascinating. But Donald Trump has asked this question. And of course, it was just a rambling in coherent mass. Thank you, President. Thank you, everybody. Can we just take a look at their points? Just like Mr. President, what do you say to some people in Ireland who say the US is facilitating genocide in Gaza? And also facilitating Israel around the illegal occupation of territories in the West Bank? But what are you saying, Gaza? We put out the fire. And we got all the off-season back. And there's very little happening right now in Gaza. That's not the place that people are talking about actually now. There's a whole about Gaza. We got involved and we facilitated a piece of a kind. But we got all the off-season back. Well, some dead, some living. We got to walk back. They wanted to get on it. It's amazing. The parents of those dead off-sages, they knew they were dead. They wanted their son or daughter, but mostly sons.

10:17They wanted their sons back. Their babies, the mothers said, their babies. They wanted the babies back just as much as no. Their son was alive. And we got them back. But I always said that last 30 or 40 is going to be very tough because of what happened. But we are, if you look at Gaza,

11:21there's a lot of good relationships taking place right now. It's been quite amazing. I think we've done a great job. Jared Kushner, Steve Whitka, the whole group has done a very good job. I just make fun of it. It's not the president discussed the need for ongoing humanitarian aid to go into Gaza. And we would continue our discussions in terms of the virus aid and support. And going into Gaza, the president, would find the sedative. I will get his death. Yeah. I think that's something. And the peace plan that the president has announced is something we support the 21 peace plan. And it is difficult and challenging. But I think it's the right to read on the Chinese. Particularly the humanitarian aid. We can do more there. We can do more there. Definitely. So yeah. So the prime minister of Ireland, otherwise known as the T-shocked. The T-shocked was just so much more clear and coherent.

12:22And I love that he jumped in and kind of corrected Trump saying like, no, no, no, there is still an urgent need for humanitarian aid in Gaza. I mean, he's, you know, Donald Trump, that is, is trying to make it seem like it's over. Right? Like everything is great. Like it's total peace. That couldn't be further from the truth. There's still tragedies taking place every single day. And it's just, it really is fascinating to see the two sides. I mean, Ireland, once again, very pro Palestine has stood with them the entire way. Donald Trump is like this with Netanyahu. And they've like been best buds, you know what I mean? So it's very interesting. And it was kind of like a one I wanted to highlight, especially. Then Donald Trump was asked, you know, what about the protests? What about the protest? We saw some of them, the F Trump sign, the no king sign on the beach as well, the plan protests are yet to happen. They're probably going to take place very, very soon. Donald Trump was asked, what do you say to the Irish people who are going to be protesting you? And he said, well, I didn't know there was a protest. Yeah, you did. Come on. Yeah, you did. Mr. President, what do you say to the Prime Minister of Ireland people who will be protesting today

13:22because they don't want you to come to Ireland? I didn't know there was a protest. I didn't know. It came. It was early in the morning. And we've been called. We left it early. And we got here. And we've been a couple of visitors, you know? And we have others to make. But I haven't seen any protest. It's a friendly protest. But we have a great relationship with Ireland. The United States and Ireland have a fantastic relationship. A very profitable one for Ireland. It's less profitable for us to be honest with you. Rather, big surplus in your country. Oh, my. He's going to start a trade war with Ireland. Is that the next step? Is that the next step? He does this all the time. He talks about how we have great relationships with countries. And then it's like, yeah, but you guys are kind of ripping us off. No, no, no. You know, let me tell you something. I want to briefly tell you a personal story. So I've mentioned on the show. I did it recently that I lived in.

14:23I actually lived in Ireland for nine years. I'm an Irish citizen, dual citizenship. I was American citizen by birth, of course. But I hold Irish citizenship because I was there for so long. And when I was there, Barack Obama was president for the most part until my final year when Donald Trump was president. And when Barack Obama visited Ireland, I have never seen so many people gather in one area. Everybody was gathering to see Barack Obama. It was such a moment of love and pride. Like, wow, Obama's in our country. You know, these Irish folks who have never been to the United States. And they were so excited to see President Obama. They were so excited to see him speak. It was just a great event. With Donald Trump, you will not see that. The Irish hate Donald Trump. They're also don't love the United States right now. They hate Donald Trump. It's just the difference in how countries feel about, you know, the president of the United States now. And the United States now versus when Joe Biden was in office, an Irishman, or when Obama was in office is really astounding. I've seen it with my own eyes. You know what I mean? I've seen it with my own eyes. I hear another one where Donald Trump was asked,

15:25are you considering withdrawing from the US MCA deal, which by the way is a deal that he negotiated? And he said, what does that mean? What do you mean what does it mean? It's a deal you negotiated. But he says, no, no, I get along great with all these countries. We're not doing that. What? I'm going to go to the other side of the world. I'm going to go to the other side of the world. Are you considering withdrawing from the US MCA deal? What does that mean? Are you considering withdrawing from the US MCA deal, but US Mexico and Canada? It's a strange question to be asked over here. Now, all of the countries we're going to have a river, like Xi Jinping and Mexico. We actually have a good one with Canada, but the United States has been ripped off for 50 years by Canada. You're going to need their product and they need our product. It takes you all of their business almost with us. And you're very little with them. But they've taken advantage of our problems. So Canada wants to make a deal right now. Just like Iran wants to make a deal right now. I just don't think they're ready.

16:26But Canada wants to make a deal. I hope Canada appreciates being in the same sentence with Iran. It's a very interesting term. Canada and Iran both. But Canada wants to make a deal and Iran wants to make a deal. At the right time, both of those things could happen. But with Iran, we're wearing very substantial in. Why he is now talking about Canada and Iran in the same way. Like that's insane. I can't believe that this is like, oh, Canada is such a good neighbor to the United States. They're such a good ally. And they've helped us plenty when we haven't helped them. Especially now with Donald Trump in office, that is. They helped us during 9-11. It was just the 25th anniversary. They helped us after 9-11. Canadians died fighting on behalf of the United States after 9-11. They've helped us with wildfires. They've helped us with trade, with diplomacy, and all this stuff. Great partner. And Donald Trump just trashes them and puts them in the same sentence as negotiating with Iran.

17:26It's crazy. But what just happened there, what we just witnessed there is that Donald Trump doesn't remember his own deal. Like it was a pretty clear question. Are you considering withdrawing from the USMCA? What does that mean? What do you mean? What does it mean? It's your deal. You negotiated it. Shouldn't you be able to identify that pretty quickly? I don't know. Disaster. The final thing I wanted to highlight is, once again, an interesting conversation for Ireland. He was asked, what's your view on Irish unification? Now, of course, there's Northern Ireland and there's the Republic of Ireland. Northern Ireland is controlled by Britain. Republic of Ireland is controlled by Ireland. The Irish people have always wanted Irish reunification. That's been like a goal of the Irish people for a very long time. And you had the troubles between the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland in the 90s and whatnot. And so that's been an ongoing thing. And Great Britain really doesn't want that. They do not want Irish reunification. They don't want it at all. And Donald Trump actually came out in favor of it, which I'm quite surprised by saying, I'd love to see it unified.

18:27I think it would be a great thing. How could it be a bad thing? Which I'm sure is going to anger the United Kingdom and probably made the president of Ireland pretty happy. Now, will this happen anytime soon? Probably not. But it's just an interesting, another interesting, interesting tidbit of like Irish politics, European politics that is now taking place in a country that I used to live in with Donald Trump being there.
