The Parnas Perspective — Trump's Own Family Calls Out His Horrendous Lies!. Machine-transcribed; use the interactive transcript above to jump the player to any line.
The president of the United States today has a bit of a problem. His own family says he's a liar. The day I'm starting to break within the Trump family, not just within the executive branch. Now we knew folks like Mary Trump, Donald Trump's niece, were already against him. But now, Fred Trump, his nephew, has come out and said, Mr. President, you're a lawyer. Why is the president a liar? Well, to over his claims regarding 9.11. Yesterday, if you recall, Donald Trump made the claim, and I'm going to play it for you in this video, that he was carried out by firefighters out of a tower that was set to collapse potentially in and around ground zero, referring to the US steel tower. He wasn't referring to the actual World Trade Center, which many folks on the left ran with. That was misinformation, and we don't do misinformation here. But he was referring to a separate tower, the US steel tower, that had some concerns about possibly buckling under the pressure and collapsing structural concerns in a days after 9.11. And well, that never actually happened. Trump was never carried out by firefighters,
but Trump did claim it nonetheless. And now you have people like Trump's own nephew coming out and saying the president is a liar. And it comes as the president has a real big political issue. And that is, there are probably some parties on a big bit of a slide right now. We start up here now, heading down this way. Why? Because voters are kind of fed up with the direction of our country. And in Dallas, Texas, today, there is this midterm convention, the first midterm convention in decades for either party, the first one for Republicans, I believe in 40 plus years. And the talk of the town in Dallas, I was going to go, but I have a daughter at home who's actually sick right now. So I didn't go. Talk of the town in Dallas right now is we're eating each other alive. We're eating ourselves alive. Republicans can't get out of their own way. And they kind of see the writing on the wall. So we're going to talk about that. Make sure to hit that subscribe button, like, comment, share. We're on the road to a million subscribers. Your support allows this to happen. So let's talk about 9.11. Because tomorrow, not tomorrow, sorry, 9.11, Friday is the anniversary of 9.11, the 25th anniversary.
It is a very solemn day, a solemn event. Now the president has made it about himself. Yesterday, he made these comments. And well, I'm going to play them for you for just a second. God, and no terror can destroy. For three months after September 11, the flames raged in the rubble of ground zero. For nine months, rescue and recovery crews work day and night. On the site, I want to just thank my people. I took a lot of my, I was building a big building in New York. And I took the whole crew down there right after this happened. And they were, they had no hesitation. Everybody went down with me. We went down as a big group of people. Wasn't too much we could do. I'll be honest, it was, it was raw. Nobody seen anything like it ever. We had other buildings. The United States steel building was creaking. Really creaking. Now we thought it was going to fall down. The truth is it creaked a lot. It creaked. It still creaks. But it never came down.
And I'll never forget too farman. We thought it was coming down on top of us and too farman. Big, strong guys. And I'm not the smallest guy in the world. They grabbed me under the arm. They said, gotta get out of here. And they literally lifted me up. This is not easy to do. I'm big. They lifted me up and they started running with me. I said, fellas, I can run myself. But they were amazing. So that never happened. And we spoke about how that never happened yesterday. But now here's what Fred Trump had to say. There are reports out that relates to the tragedy of 9-11. I will comment on them today because doing so on the 25th anniversary this Friday would take away from the salt moments. I try not to comment personally about my uncle, but his claim that he brought a crew of workers to help at the side. So offense me that I need to speak out. He was not building a big building at the time. The only crew who claimed to bring to the site would have been secretarial and accounting employees from Trump Tower. And you many of them, I'm pretty sure they were not capable, physical, physically to help. If they could, I'm sure they would try. Regarding the US steel building, ironically, the grandfather of very close friend of mine
was one of the original engineers. The building was both strong. Second, the brother of a partner of mine was an engineer that was immediately called to perform an inspection. While people were originally concerned, it was eventually cleared for occupancy, not creaking and ready to fall. I hope this brings some truth to that story. Calling his uncle liar. Now, his uncle went on a massive tyrant, saying the failing New York magazine wrote a story that I wasn't down at the World Trade Center after the tragedy of September 11th, because nobody saw me there. Well, I don't think I would be the first thing on anyone's mind. But I was there, obviously not on the same day as the collapse, but shortly thereafter with a large group of construction workers. I discussed it today during my remarks on the ellipse in Washington, DC, for tunnel, two towers. Everything I said was exactly accurate to prove the point. I'm attaching clips with numerous people, including his head of security. Blah blah blah blah. He goes, I mean, it's just long and long and long. But all of this is, again, a lie. His own nephew is saying that his uncle is lying. I mean, you judge who do you believe? You believe the president or you believe his nephew
who really has no stake in the game here and has no reason to come out and call his uncle a liar. Now, I do remember one of her call what Donald Trump was saying after 9-11. Donald, you have one of the landmark buildings down in the financial district, Forty Wall Street. Did you have any damage or did you know what's happened down there? Well, it was an amazing phone call. I made Forty Wall Street actually was the second tallest building in downtown Manhattan. And it was actually before the World Trade Center was the tallest. And then when they built the World Trade Center, it became known as the second tallest. And now it's the tallest. And I just spoke to my... So that's what he was saying after the Trade Center fell on 9-11. That's Ed Cruz, who is looking for Trump's endorsement. He's running for president in 2028. Hasn't announced yet, but he will. I guarantee you in the next year. Try to come out and say that the reason why Trump is not lying is because it was so long ago. He can't remember. The president's 9-11 story today. He's saying that there is evidence that he was there right after. I mean, he's kind of making it sound like he was pulled out of the rumble,
though, with the firefighter. Do you think that's appropriate? September 11th was 25 years ago. It was a horrific moment for our entire country. And you could doubt whatever you want about Donald Trump. But the man is a New Yorker. He loves New York. And I have every doubt that what he's conveying there is what he experienced. And that was a traumatic experience for all of us. Yeah, some people might just hear that and think he's exaggerating his role. Should anyone exaggerate what happened on 9-11? Look, I think when you're sharing your feelings, your sentiments, I remember I was in DC on 9-11. We live. The president has a real problem. The real problem. And that is no one showing up to this minterome convention right now. They're tired of him. They're tired of this White House. Take a listen to the numbers because the numbers speak for themselves. In term convention, the idea, it seems, is to boost support among the Republican base. Is that idea what they should be going after, though, with a stout? See it in cheap data analysts, Harry, and you know, if the idea is to reach
magovoters who may not be showing up, is that a reasonable target? You know, this idea is so ill-conceived. You can just see it by the fact that they're doing it when the football season is starting. Who does that, my God? And when you look at the numbers, no, that is not the part of the party in which you actually need to motivate. You can see this here. Extremely motivated to vote in the midterm elections. 60% of Democrats are extremely motivated to vote. 59% of that hardcore Trump-based, mega-Republicans, 59% of the same as the Dems. The ones who are not motivated to vote are the non-magor Republicans, the people who are far less likely to approve of Donald Trump, the people who think that Donald Trump's Republican party probably should be the end of it. That's where the problem is. So no, it is not, in fact, the hardcore Republican base that needs that motivation. It is other folks that this convention simply won't be reaching because they'll probably be watching football like most Americans. And if it is a Trump-apollosa as they're advertising here, these might be the Republicans least susceptible. Yes, that's exactly right.
It's like, oh, let's focus in on Donald Trump. But in fact, the people who are the least motivated to vote are the folks who are the most likely within the Republican party to disapprove of Donald Trump. And in terms of like... Uh-oh. Uh-oh.
