Tyson's Draft Fate Hinges on Workout

On March 26, Cleveland Brown's fans are glued to the NFL draft buzz as prospects like Arizona State

wide receiver Jordan Tyson see their stocks swing.

Wildly, the 20-year-old pass catcher, brother to Cavalier's guard, Jalen Tyson,

has slipped from top 10 talk to a riskier first-round option mainly,

because of hamstring troubles and pass knee and collarbone issues. Meanwhile,

Georgia tackle Monroe Freeling has shot up boards as a possible fix for the Brown's left tackle spot.

Tyson has a big private workout lined up for April 17th, just days before the 2026 draft starts on

April 23rd. That session could rock in him back toward the top 10. Maybe even number 6 to

Cleveland if he shows scouts he's fully healthy. Fans are hoping for some draft chaos to push Tyson

down the board, especially since the Brown's hold picks number 6 in number 24. Analysts like

Field Yates, Mill Kuiper Jr and Todd McShay see him going between 9 and 13 overall to other teams,

but his skills fit. Cleveland's water-sever needs perfectly, plus the family tie in town.

With top tackles like Freeling and Play for the early pick, General Manager Andrew Berry might

grab one at number 6 then I Tyson later, perhaps. Trading up from number 24 with their deep pool of

selections, everything rides on that workout. If Tyson shines, he locks in high. If not,

he could slide right into Brown's range for a first round steal.
