Lv: Pavasara rīts Gūtmaņalā bija mitrs un maigs.
En: A spring morning at Gūtmaņala was damp and gentle.
Lv: Smaržoja pēc svaiguma un atdzimšanas.
En: It smelled of freshness and rebirth.
Lv: Lieldienu rītā Raivis un Ilze devās uz alu.
En: On the Easter morning, Raivis and Ilze went to the cave.
Lv: Raivis bija entuziasts vēstures pētnieks.
En: Raivis was an enthusiastic history researcher.
Lv: Viņš ticēja savas ģimenes saiknei ar senajām latviešu ciltīm.
En: He believed in his family's connection to the ancient Latvian tribes.
Lv: Ilze, Raivja māsīca, bija tur, lai atbalstītu, lai gan viņai pašai šķita, ka viņi meklē adatu siena kaudzē.
En: Ilze, Raivis's cousin, was there to support him, even though she felt they were looking for a needle in a haystack.

En: "This symbol is a very ancient tribe sign."

Lv: "Bet kā mēs zinām, ka tas ir par mūsu ģimeni?" viņa jautāja, spiežot savu zodu domīgi.
En: "But how do we know it's about our family?" she asked, pressing her chin thoughtfully.
Lv: Raivis pavisam drīz kļuva ļoti nopietns, aicinot Ilzi palīdzēt.
En: Raivis soon became very serious, inviting Ilze to help.
Lv: Viņiem vajadzēja stundas, lai rūpīgi izpētot virsmu, tas atklātu vēl vairāk informācijas.
En: It took them hours to carefully explore the surface, revealing even more information.
Lv: Ļoti pacietīgi viņi mēģināja atjaunot noslaucītos vārdus.
En: Very patiently, they tried to reconstruct the erased words.
