音樂本身有韻律及節奏，對於孩子在學習語言方面是有幫助。
學習語言要能讀要先讀出音，對於很多孩子聽覺皮質可能是發育不良，例如無法分辯1000-1005個赫茲的差別，如果是用音樂就比較可以聽得出來，使得聽覺皮質敏感，音樂可以幫助孩童在節奏上掌握得較好，所以我們在實驗上可以看到音樂對於有學習障礙的孩童是有幫助的。音樂是無聲的語言，是紓解壓力及溝通最好的方式。
