Sl: Ana je vedno sanjala o pravljičnih bitjih in starodavnih legendah.
En: Ana always dreamed of mythical creatures and ancient legends.

Sl: Tokrat je njen cilj dokazati resničnost enega takih mitov - stare velikonočne rituale na Blejskem jezeru, ki obljubljajo uspešno leto.
En: This time her goal is to prove the reality of one such myth – ancient Easter rituals at Blejsko jezero, which promise a successful year.

Sl: Z njo sta njen brat Matej in najboljša prijateljica Nina.
En: With her are her brother Matej and her best friend Nina.

Sl: Je pomlad, in vse okoli jezera cveti, kar daje pokrajini prav poseben čar.
En: It's spring, and everything around the lake is blooming, giving the landscape a special charm.

Sl: Celo pot do jezera je Ana navdušeno pripovedovala o legendi.
En: The entire way to the lake, Ana talked excitedly about the legend.

Sl: Matej je le zmajeval z glavo.
En: Matej just shook his head.

Sl: "Ana, to so le zgodbice za otroke.
En: "Ana, these are just stories for children.

Sl: Ni resničnega dokaza," je rekel.

Sl: Na drugi strani pa je Nina, čeprav malo prestrašena, z zanimanjem spremljala Anine zgodbe, čeprav se ji zdi, da se narava ne zmeša s starimi zgodbami.
En: On the other hand, Nina, though a little scared, listened with interest to Ana's stories, even though it seemed to her that nature does not mix with old tales.

Sl: Postavili so šotor ob robu jezera.
En: They set up a tent on the edge of the lake.

Sl: Oblaki so počasi plavali po nebu, in nato se je začel dan umikati.
En: Clouds slowly drifted across the sky, and then the day began to retreat.

Sl: Ana je vztrajala, da gredo ponoči na raziskovanje.
En: Ana insisted they go exploring at night.

Sl: "Ne bodi nora," jo je opozoril Matej.
En: "Don't be crazy," Matej warned her.

Sl: "Nočno pohajkovanje ni najbolj pametno.
En: "Nighttime wandering isn't the smartest idea."

Sl: " Nina je bila v dvomih, a je v njej gorela radovednost.
En: Nina had doubts, but curiosity burned within her.

Sl: Ko sta Matej in Nina zaspala, je Ana tiho stopila iz šotora.
En: When Matej and Nina fell asleep, Ana quietly stepped out of the tent.

Sl: Jezero je bilo tiho, le zvoki narave so ga obkrožali.
En: The lake was silent, only the sounds of nature surrounded it.

Sl: A Nina ni mogla pustiti Ane same.
En: However, Nina couldn't leave Ana alone.

Sl: Zbudila se je ter potiho sledila njeni prijateljici.
En: She woke up and quietly followed her friend.

Sl: Ko sta Ana in Nina prišli do roba vode, sta videli nenavadne svetlobe, ki so plesale po gladini.
En: When Ana and Nina reached the water’s edge, they saw unusual lights dancing across the surface.

Sl: "Poglej, Nina!
En: "Look, Nina!

Sl: To je to!
En: This is it!"

Sl: " je Ana vzkliknila.
En: Ana exclaimed.

Sl: Kmalu pa sta svetlobi izginili prav tako hitro, kot sta se pojavili.
En: But soon the lights disappeared as quickly as they had appeared.

Sl: Matej, zbudjen od tihega žvrgolenja, je prišel za njima.

Sl: "Kaj se dogaja?
