US Army Authorized to Take Control of Land to 'Seal' US-Mexico Border

The Department of Defense has been authorized by the Trump administration to take nearly 110,000 acres of land along the southern border from the Department of the Interior. This not only allows the United States broader control over border security, but could also result in additional criminal charges against illegal immigrants.
