US investigating strike on Iranian primary school, Energy crisis fears

The Israeli military says it has begun a new wave of strikes targeting Iranian infrastructure

in Tehran.

A fire has broken out after explosions in the Iranian capital.

Earlier the White House said its objectives in Iran should be met within four to six

weeks.

That's after Donald Trump said there would be no deal with Iran except unconditional surrender.

A strike on the first day of the conflict hit an area where a girl school was located

according to U.S. media.

At least 168 people died in the attack in Minab on Saturday.

Both the American and Israeli militaries have acknowledged the attack but have not confirmed

their responsibility.

The Iranian ambassador to the United Nations spoke earlier in New York.

He said Iran does not seek war but insists on its right to self-defense.

Amir Saeed Irovani also condemned U.S. President Donald Trump's comment saying he wants to play

a role in choosing Iran's next supreme leader.

Israeli forces are also bombing parts of the Lebanese capital Beirut and other parts

of the country.

On Thursday Israel issued an unprecedented forced evacuation order for residents in southern

Beirut, including in Dahia.

Hundreds of thousands of displaced people had taken refuge there.

And Iran has launched another barrage of missiles at Israel.

Waves of strikes since Saturday have caused extensive damage in Tel Aviv.

At least 11 people have been killed in Israel since the conflict began.

And Qatar has warned of a dramatic impact of the widening conflict on the global energy

market.

The Gulf state's energy minister says the violence has the potential to quote, bring down

the economies of the world.
