US-Israel strike Iran residential areas, Iran calls for 'human chains' at power plants

There have been multiple explosions in Iran's capital, Tehran, as the U.S. and Israel

continue attacking the country.

President Donald Trump has set a deadline for early Wednesday morning Iran time for Tehran

to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

A Trump has warned that the country will be left without any power plans or bridges

if they fail to make a deal.

Tonight, the U.S. and Israel have struck multiple civilian infrastructure and residential

areas across the capital.

The Israeli military has warned people in Iran to stay away from trains and railways.

Meanwhile, the Iranian ambassador to Pakistan says that efforts to stop the war are reaching

a critical stage.

Earlier Iran had rejected a 45-day ceasefire proposal and instead demanded a permanent

end to the war, along with a protocol for passage through the Strait of Hormuz.

In the Gulf now, the only bridge connecting Bahrain to Saudi Arabia was temporarily closed

because of threats of Iranian attacks.

Iran's Deputy Sports Minister has called on Iranian people to form human chains at power

plans across the country ahead of the U.S. President's Tuesday night deadline.

Ali Reza Rahimi says that he invites all young people, as well as artists and athletes,

to gather at power plans across the country on Tuesday at 2 p.m. local time.

He calls on people to deliver the message that attacking public infrastructure is a war crime.

And a prominent Iranian musician has announced that he will be staying at one of Iran's power

plans to deter potential attacks on critical infrastructure.

Ali Hamzari says that he will be at the Damavan power plant, which supplies roughly half of

Tehran's electricity needs.

He says that he plans to stay there in seclusion, spending his time making music.

He destroyed infrastructure, fuel shortages, and restricted access to landfills have created

a waste crisis in the Gaza Strip.

A group of young engineers has decided to use organic materials from rubbish heaps to

produce sources of energy that are in short supply across the Strip, gas and liquid fertilizers.

One of the engineers hopes his project can help support local farmers.
