What's going on right now with voting? As you

4:11know, doubt no. The president is obsessed with mail-in ballots. Convinced that mail-in ballots are full of fraud and they have to, he has to unload on mail-in ballots. Yes. Just say they have to disappear. Now, the fact that mail-in ballots tend to trend democratic is a little problematic, isn't it? No, not to the president because mail-in ballots, especially in democratic states, are fraudulent. I mean, he is part of the crowd. Actually, he started the election deniers. Who believe this? I believe this is true. I don't think it would be to be doused. When a Democrat wins, it is a rigged election. The only way a Democrat winning is by an unfair rigged cheating election. When the Republicans win, that's a free election. It's that simple. There's no such thing

5:12as a Democrat win without it being rigged. That's, okay, that's a given. So now, translate that into mail-in ballots since they tend to skew democratic. And the president has said this is, we have to stop this mail-in ballot in completely. Big problem because where mail-in ballot takes place in mostly democratic states. California, for example, every registered voter gets a ballot by mail. Other states, swing states, the majority of these states have a mail-in ballots. And so there was a postal service whistleblower, someone on the inside and whistleblower's illegal terms protected person, is saying that even though the court has ordered that major plans of this new digital system of basically controlling mail-in ballots or reducing them as much as possible, is risky and haphazard. And more importantly, the postal service is continuing on

6:15in setting up these mail-in ballot restrictions. And they're going to do it by way of the postal service. And here is the argument they're using. Number one, oh, we're not doing it. We're just preparing to do it in the event we win. And what is this about? Well, it's about registering or finding everybody was on a mail-in ballot registration list in California. That's everybody. And then looking for fraud. And looking for fraud as if if one or two or five of the 40 million voters who are registered is fraudulent or do mail-in ballots is fraudulent, then the argument is it can be in the entire mail-in ballot can be invalidated because it was fraudulent. And the court said, nah, you can't do it. So what is the White House doing? They're doing an end around. And they're getting ready for it because the case is now in front of the Supreme Court and they are rushing this because

7:16the midterms are coming up. This is a question of time now. It's the it's rushing to make sure the Republicans prevail in the midterms because if mail-in voting is eliminated and the only people that can vote are those who in by the way, not complete mail-in voting being elimination, but just the way states count the votes, for example, California. We don't get a real count until weeks later because if the ballot is postmarked before election day, the state has up to seven days to then start counting it. I mean, it's it's pretty loose in California. And so the president is trying to stop that cold because most of the same day voting is Republicans vote far more same same day than mail-in. And he wants to get rid of mail-in voting completely because it's fraudulent. Oh, by the way, you know, who did who mailed in their votes twice, the president? But he is against mail-in voting.

8:19And we'll see what happens. So this official, this whistleblower said that the portal's verification process to see who is registered, who is legitimate in those lists could reject tens of thousands of people voting if even one barcode on one single ballot failed to properly scan. And that is the point of all this because again, are you going to see attacks being made on any Republican victory at all? Because the premise is there is no such thing as fraud in Republican districts when Republicans win. That is a free election. That is American democracy at its best when Republicans win. That is a free democracy period because when Democrats win, there is no democracy. It's stealing the the election. You ever thought we'd come to that? Did you ever think we would come to that point

9:20where the definition of a free election is when one party wins? So they are prepared to do it. And the point is the states, of course, have complete control and how voting is done, setting up the rules and regulations. And with the president is doing, here's the end around because mail-in ballot is done by mail, then the postal service can get involved and in this case can make sure the right people get the right ballots. And that means registration with the states, with the federal government, it gets a little complicated to say the least. Okay, moving on. Oh, first, a danger assessment from a deal. Oh, you're chewing the oil. You start to sound like me. No, I'm fine. Yes, I saw you swallow that last bit just before opening your mouth. Little whole whole grain cereal in the morning with some bananas.

That's not in the news. And this, as you know, has to do with the attacks that are going on and the president is going back and forth. We're going to bomb Iran. We're not going to bomb Iran. We have a great deal coming there desperate to come to the table. We're controlling the state of hormones. It is wide open. We've won the war. We have decimated a run. We're going to kill their nuclear program except wait a sec. We already wiped out their nuclear program. I mean, that goes on and on. But what is happening is Iran is continuing to deny inspectors from the UN nuclear watchdog. And that is the international atomic energy agency. And a report just came out

11:28from the director general saying that the agency can't verify the location or the status of Iran's nuclear near bomb grade uranium. And they're saying we only want uranium for peaceful purposes for nuclear power. That's it for research. Nothing more. Well, that's two to three percent in Richmond. Bomb grade enrichment is over 90 percent when you have uranium that is enriched to that point where they're used for nuclear weapons. Well, at this point, and this is according to the report, an estimate by the international atomic energy agency says Iran has an estimated 987 or yet 9,875 kilograms have been reached in rich uranium. Now here is the important numbers. 184 kilograms has 2.2 pounds per kilogram is enriched up to 20 percent.

12:32440 kilograms over a thousand pounds is enriched up to 60 percent. Wait a minute. You only want this for people peaceful purposes. That's correct. We are not engaged in five in creating a nuclear weapon. Why do you have it at 60 percent enrichment level, which is not a far jump from going to 90. That's a fairly easy jump because the technology to move it in that direction is there. Well, we only want it for peaceful purposes. The bottom line is Iran is going for it. I think everybody knows that. Certainly Israel knows that. Their intelligence is superb. I think the United States knows that. The International Islamic Energy Commission, well, they're saying we don't know. We don't know because we don't have access. We don't know for a fact. The only thing we know for a fact, they're not letting us through the door to report on this. The report says the agency cannot provide any information on

13:34the current size, composition, whereabouts of the stockpile of enriched uranium in Iran, or whether Iran has suspended enriched enrichment activities. Nor can the agency provide information about the current inventory of centrifuges in Iran. The way they enrich uranium is they use these centrifuges, thousands of them going 24 or seven. So Iran continues to refuse longstanding unresolved questions about its previous nuclear program. Oh no, it's only for peaceful services purposes, as what they're said, and the undeclared sites. Now we do know of one thing is that while Iran has always denied seeking a weapon, it has never satisfactorily explained the agency why it has enriched to 60%. We'll never see that. And there is one plant, Ross Fahhan, that we didn't even really know existed. And that's where

14:35the US, Israel and intelligence organizations think that's where the nuclear, the enriched uranium is kept deep underground. It was bombed and the argument the US says is we bombed it so they ran his own have access to it. I don't know. It's people lie a lot about that. Countries lie. Israel has never admitted that it has an atomic weapon. You know that. Never. And it does. It has some 200 nuclear warheads give or take. There is a facility out in the Nagyev Desert, which is called Dhamona, which is universally known as the center for the Israeli nuclear, the nuclear bomb program. And it is officially described as a resort. Now if you go to the Dhamona resort, first of all, you can't get near it because it has a fencing, chainling, fencing around it for miles. It says don't get in here because we're going to kill you.

15:39And then you look at the actual building, the wall around the building has concertino wire that's 14 feet high. That is my idea of a resort. Don't you think? Well, okay, hear me out on this. It's a resort, but it's the last resort. Yes. And so Israel and one of the things about Israel, if Iran were to get an atomic weapon, which Israel will never allow it to do, it will go to full scale war. It will go balls to the wall with war and Iran because Iran is, or Israel's convinced they'd run will unleash atomic weapons through its proxies. You know, it'll give it to one of the terrorist groups that will bring it into Israel. And there goes Tel Aviv. And Israel is not going to go down fighting. I mean, it will, it's going to be a tough one. That's why the Middle East is considered the flashpoint of what's going to happen in terms of conflicts. Okay, moving over to something that you and I are involved in every day. And that is viewing ourselves as working class,

16:46not middle class, working class. Now, usually when we think of working class, well, we used to think of working class as lower earners or earners, workers without a bachelor's degree, or people working explicitly in blue collar fields like construction and agriculture, that is the working class. It used to be that way. Now, boy has that expanded. A new survey from Pew finds that workers, even with good savings and able to pay their bills and make a good salary feel working class. Now, here's one that I even know was was even a thing, but I guess it is a thing. Republicans are more likely to use that label to describe themselves working class, even those that have money. Majority of Americans now hear themselves in Dolly Parton's song

17:469-5, 60% of Americans identify as working class, 60% that's up from 54% two years ago. And maybe it's because the term itself is fairly ambiguous. I mean, what is working class? It's different places, different terms, the way we think. But even while up to now, the wages have increased relative to inflation. Well, inflation is so high, it really doesn't even matter. It's baked in. And now, wages are below that of inflation. What middle class, middle class, previously middle class earners, a third of them used to feel similarly about their savings and spending. They used to feel middle class, not anymore. Middle class or working class and people that are genuinely middle class and consider themselves middle class are drifting apart. Middle class earners are now tracking more closely with the lowest earners. And they're spending

18:52that way too. And I want to keep reiterating this, reiterating middle class and working class are two very different animals. And when you think of most of us thought ourselves of middle class, lower middle class, upper middle class, I seem to be everybody. I grew up in a family that was fairly middle class. Maybe even upper middle class, but middle class. Today, that same family, my parents, if they could work, but they're kind of dead. So that makes it difficult. They would consider themselves, well, working class. My dad was a union electrician. So I guess that's working class, although we made a good chunk of money because he was a union electrician. My mom was a lab tech. So they both were, you know, they did a good job. Today, they could consider themselves working class. A lot of the problem is inflation because what high prices do is make people feel bad about our economic prospects. And it is, well, financial stress absolutely correlates with

19:59identifying as working class. And I find it interesting that Republicans view themselves. And I guess when you're rich, you don't really consider yourself rich unless you're ultra rich. Democrats consider anybody, let's say, making a couple hundred thousand dollars a year is pretty rich. I mean, that is more than just a regular income. If you're making 200, 250,000 dollars a year, ask a Republican who's making 200, 250,000 dollars a year. That's middle class. We're changing our views. We are. I kneel, you consider yourself working class or middle class. I'm going to go around the room real quick. I guess working class plus. Okay, but not middle class plus. I don't think there is a middle class anymore. Well, but people, there actually is, but no one considers themselves. I guess middle, yeah, middle class. I would consider it tremendously more than our parents.

21:01Yeah, no, and you and Tracy, you know, you guys make very, very good money. He's got multiple degrees. I'm not doing that. I'm not, I'm not arguing that. And you've been around the station for a very long time. And you do a lot of stuff around the station. And you are one of the more highly paid people at the station. By the way, Neil makes $43,000 a year. And he is one of the most highly paid people at the station. What does that tell you? But I, I, I paint, I paint on weekends. That's right. I do chores around if you need to. There you are. You get paid for those. Uh, okay, really quick. Amy middle class working class. Hmm. Working class. Okay. Uh, and working class, middle class. Lower class. Low, seriously lower class, legitimately. What's that? Yeah. Okay. I just, it's just question of what, how you perceive yourself? Will lower class, middle class, working class, definitely not middle class. Okay. Exactly. And probably 10 years ago, we'd be considered middle class. Cono. Uh, eating dog food or cat food out of your can. Which one?

22:04Yeah. The lowest class. What's the lowest class? There you go. I know he's, uh, one of the untouched. I'm in class, but the bottom of it understood. All right. Now, uh, interesting article. And I pulled this up because I've been thinking about this a lot. Uh, this was a New York Times. It was an op ed piece. And it was written by, uh, a guy named Adam Grant, uh, who was an organizational psychologist at the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania, probably one of the best, uh, one of the best business schools in the United States, maybe the world. And the way, uh, Donald Trump went to Wharton incidentally. So, uh, the day before a take home exam in his undergraduate course at Wharton, a few students were sending frantic messages, uh, to him saying they knew that some of their peers were planning to use, uh, AI to cheat. And he, like any other teacher thought of a little bit upset, felt like a betrayal. So 95

23:07students log in for the exam. And here's what he did is he ditched the multiple choice and short answer questions. And instead he asked the students to write an essay using the principles of organizational psychology they've been studying. And what was the topic? How to motivate students to stop cheating? Hmm, it's a little ironic. Okay. Uh, and, uh, as he says, uh, the responses really shocked him. And I'll tell you why it's not just the excuses that people use for cheating. And there's all kinds of excuses that I'll get into in a moment. But, uh, hardly any students saw cheating as a violation of integrity. That's the issue here. Not that you're just cheating for whatever reason, but that you as a student cheating. And there's no moral problem with you cheating. That is the problem. So, uh, a majority of the students who cheated make excuses,

24:13were under a lot of stress. Everyone else is doing it. Uh, we have no choice. And so what's happening because this cheating, uh, especially with AI has exploded, uh, teachers are switching to these in class essays and oral exams. You sure as hell can't use AI in a oral exam, you're up there going, uh, uh, uh, uh, now he says creating obstacles is never going to be enough. Why? Because, uh, the underlying motivation is wrong. That as students, uh, are aiming to get better grades, it's so competitive, it's so crazy out there, uh, that they have to use any way, uh, to get better grades, including cheating. Uh, the big problem, as I said, is, um, you know what? We've got to do it. We have no choice. And we feel okay about it. Whoa. All right, coming back, I want to share, uh, the rest of the story with that one because, uh,
