Vikings Plummet in Power Rankings

for teams prepping for the 2026 season.

NFL media's Eric Edholm placed the Minnesota Vikings at 25th overall, near the bottom,

after they lost key pieces on both sides of the ball.

The Vikings got hit hard of front, saying goodbye to defensive lineman, Jonathan Allen,

and Javon Hargrave.

Center Ryan Kelly retired, leaving a gap in the middle, and receiver Jalen Nailer departed,

ending out targets beyond Justin Jefferson.

Fullback CJ Ham is also gone after retiring.

Adding to the awkwardness, Minnesota signed quarterback Kyler Murray to a league minimum

deal.

But with former first round pick, J.J. McCarthy already on the roster, Murray's no-trade

clause suggests he'll start, clouding McCarthy's future even.
