Walker & Gilmore Retire: NFL Legacies End

Linebacker Anthony Walker Jr. and Cornerback Stefan Gilmore both announced their retirements, wrapping up solid NFL journeys. Walker got his start as a 5th round pick by the Colts back in 2017 out of Northwestern. He bought out early with them, racking up hundreds of tackles over four seasons, plus picks and sacks, before bouncing to the Cleveland Browns for three years. In Miami, a quick Colts practice squad stint in his last two games with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Gilmore brought veteran lockdown skills to Indy in 2022, starting all 16 games with 66 tackles, two picks and 11 passes, knocked away. The Colts traded him to Dallas the next offseason for a 5th round pick since he chased a contender. Fans and analysts are buzzing about their impacts.
