Anthony Walker Jr. had a tough year with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The team signed the veteran linebacker in the offseason to provide depth behind Lavante

David.

Both players grew up in Miami and our friends.

But injuries hit Walker early derailing those plans.

Walker got hurt before training camp and the Buccaneers released him in August.

He then joined the Indianapolis Colts practice squad and stayed there for most of the season.

In December, Tampa Bay brought him back briefly when another player dealt with a short-term

injury.

His second stint with the Bucks was very short.

Walker only saw action for one snap in a game against the Miami Dolphins.

Despite his experience, health issues limited his role.

Walker enters his tenth NFL season as a free agent now.

He has started games for several teams, including recently with the Dolphins.

Fans in analysts know his background as a reliable veteran when healthy.

The Buccaneers could bring him back cheaply if they want that depth again.
