Wallace Reunites with Monken, Boosts Browns' Roster

On March 22nd, the Cleveland Browns just signed

Why Receiver Tyler Wallace, a pending free agent

from the Baltimore Ravens.

This move reunites him with Todd Munkin,

the Browns' new head coach,

who was previously the Ravens' offensive coordinator.

Earlier this week, the deal became official.

Wallace, a fourth-round pick in 2021

out of Oklahoma State, built his career on special teams,

including a memorable punt return,

touched down that sealed a win over the Rams.

He stepped up as a receiver in 2024,

posting career highs with 11 catches for 193 yards.

Blassies and though, his snap shifted

toward blocking with fewer special teams reps.

Meanwhile, the Ravens face a thin receiver group

after losing the Andre Hopkins to free agency, too.

With a new coordinator favoring more spread sets,

they'll need to add depth soon,

even with young talents like Devantez Walker ready to grow.

Wallace's experience in Munkin's scheme

and on special teams,

should help Cleveland plug roster holes left

by departing players, giving them a first-out piece

right away.
